Consumer Complaint: In accordance with the fair credit reporting act, this creditor, Navy Federal Credit Union has violated my rights. Under 15 USC 1681 Section 602 states I have the right to privacy, 15 USC 1681, section 604 A Section 2 also states, a consumer reporting agency can not furnish a account without my written instructions. Under 15 USC 1666B a creditor may not treat a payment on a credit car account under an open in consumer credit plan as late for any purpose.

Consumer Complaint: I filed a claim with Navy federal fir unauthorized charges on my account around XXXX XXXX XXXX weeks later XXXXXXXX XXXX my account was adjusted and all were refilled to my account. There were around XXXX unauthorized charges on my account and I dont believe Na y federal did a fair or proper investigation into the fraud charges. I never received any type of call or notice from a investigator or anyone they just reviled my account for all charges and did not properly investigate it.

Consumer Complaint: I filed a credit card fraud claim in the amount of {$6400.00} and {$940.00} on XXXX and XXXX of the year XXXX. But recently I have gotten a letter in the mail saying that my claim was denied and that I owe that amount on my credit card starting XX/XX/. Navy Federal has not found any of the claims valid even though I had XXXX service and XXXX ability to use my credit card because I am XXXX XXXX so I get XXXX to wildfires two weeks at a time. The company has done nothing to resolve this except by putting me in serious debt.

Issue: Problem with the payoff process at the end of the loan

Consumer Complaint: The creditor offered an offer for an extension of credit as a purchase money loan. I accepted the counteroffer in the amount of XXXX. In return for the credit in the amount of XXXX I sold Navy Federal Credit Union a Note for XXXX for valuable consideration. The note was payable to the order of Navy Federal Credit Union ( creditor ), signed by the ( borrower ) and dated XX/XX/2023 on its face in accordance with the Bill of Exchange Act of 1882. The creditor has continued to request other acts beyond the payment of the loan which violates simple contract law. They have now caused commercial harm by presenting negative and derogatory items to companies even while I complied with the payment of monthly bills. This is the second complaint filed for remedy. The last response was not accepted by the borrower and this is the second notice, giving the creditor an opportunity to cure.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/23 I made a deposit to my checking account at a Navy fcu atm. On XX/XX/23 I received a letter dated XX/XX/23 unsigned from the security department stating that they we're delaying {$270.00} of my total deposit of {$500.00}. j That they were taking this precaution because they have reasonable cause to believe that the check is uncollectible from the paying bank based on confidential information that indicates that the check may not be paid. There was no reasonable cause to doubt collectivity & this was an outright violation of section 229.13 of regulation cc. This was a check written from one of my accounts to navy fcu, the check was signed and listed my name & address.

Consumer Complaint: I had a problem with my debit card information getting used for purchases I did not authorize. I also did not give my information out to anyone. I used my card once with XXXX and some employee hacked the system and took my info and tried to buy stuff but I was alerted by text and called the fraud department and it got resolved quickly. But I had to cancel my card and get a new one. Then somehow my card got used in a state Ive never been to for pizza. I saw the charge on my account and called the fraud department again and got it resolved. Well now the fraud department says that Im in violation of the debit card agreement. All my disputes were found to be valid and founded by the credit union so I dont know what I exactly violated. I read the agreement and have not done anything against it at all. But now I am told that I cant get a debit card for a year and that they have closed the matter. I have asked repeatedly for them to tell me exactly how this is my fault and why I am being punished and they will not give me an answer. I thought Navy Federal CU was a good institution until this happened but now Im feeling unfairly punished without good reason and I am being bullied by the fraud department. I want another debit card for my account and for them to make it so thieves cant get my info so easily. I dont use it very often except to pay bills on secure sites or on XXXX XXXX I deleted my XXXX account and am careful to not have my debit info out there. Can you help me please? If I just close my account then they win and can continue to treat other customers this way which is not professional in my opinion.
