Consumer Complaint: On or about XX/XX/23, I contacted NFCU re a purchase I made on XX/XX/23 in the amount of {$360.00} through XXXX. Of that {$360.00}, on XX/XX/23 at XXXX, I set up a partial return with the company in question, XXXX XXXX The amount of the return was {$230.00}. XXXX provided me with a return label ( they have a policy for FREE return shipping ) and return ID number : XXXX. The items were sent Via XXXX at XXXX Legacy XXXX, # XXXX, XXXX, Texas XXXX. XXXX continues to deny they received the package, despite the tracking information demonstrates the merchandise was in fact received on XX/XX/23, XXXX at the warehouse in XXXX California XXXX the address provided by XXXX XXXX Further, XXXX continues to decline the dispute even though proof has been provided on more than one occasion. I was able to chat with a live person, XXXX, who stated, {$230.00} was a charge back and therefore, the refund would not be coming from them directly but from XXXX. XXXX denies this, even though that information was provided to them. On XX/XX/23, NFCU requested additional information that included the date, amount, and contents of the original purchase. I was told once they received that, they would be able to resolve the case in my favor. On XX/XX/23, said information was provided. Despite that, they closed my case in favor of the merchant. This is NFCUs continued practice to resolve disputes in favor of the merchant. The evidence I have provided proves XXXX has received the package in question but NFCU refuses to further investigate. If needed, I will provide additional information that, again, has been provided to NFCU, XXXX, and XXXX. This is obscured that this back continues to ignore the facts by lacking due diligence that would prove my case. XXXX has been known to play this game with many consumers. Even XXXX has verified their fraudulent business practices, whereby they will deny XXXX has made deliveries when they have. But NFCU does not care to protect their own customers

Issue: Problems at the end of the loan or lease
Subissue: Problem related to refinancing
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I refinanced my XXXX XXXX XXXX ( VIN XXXX through Navy Federal Credit Union with my wife as a cosigner. The loan number is XXXX and since the mileage was over the " New classification '' it was deemed to be a used car loan. The amount financed was {$65000.00}, at XXXX XXXX interest for XXXX months. I wrecked this vehicle on XX/XX/XXXX, it was totaled, and I contacted NFCU to get the GAP protection activated for the payoff discrepancy. It wasn't until this call that i discovered that the loan ending in XXXX was in fact on another vehicle. The other vehicle is a XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX ( VIN XXXX ) and the loan number is XXXX opened on XX/XX/XXXX and is a new car loan. The amount financed was {$69000.00}, at XXXX XXXX interest and the term was XXXX months. There are two loans with different terms, amounts, and periods on the XXXX XXXX. By NFCU 's own admission on a recorded telephonic call that occurred on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX Central time. The customer service representative relayed to me from her supervisor that yes indeed NFCU made a mistake. With this information the representative then also said since I had signed the promissory note that the loan is valid and they would do nothing to rectify the situation. The NFCU Security Agreement states the following : " The owner ( s ) of the collateral warrant ( s ) that he/she is the owner of the collateral listed on the front ; that there are no other liens or claims against the collateral ; and that as the owner ( s ), he/she has the right to make this agreement. If the collateral described on the front is to be purchased with the proceeds of this loan, Applicant warrants the proceeds will not be used for any other purpose. '' Their own rules and agreements are not being followed and I am now suffering great mental and physical stressors that are leaving me with a myriad of symptoms. I don't understand how this practice is legal.
