I am writing to bring to your attention potential violations of federal law codes, specifically 15 U.S.C. 1666 ( b ), 15 U.S.C. 1611 ( 1 ), 15 U.S. Code 1681n, and 15 U.S. Code 1681s-2. Upon careful examination, concerns have arisen regarding compliance with these codes, particularly related to the verification of billing statement receipt and accuracy of reported information. Under 15 U.S.C. 1666 ( b ), creditors are required to adopt reasonable procedures for verifying the receipt of billing statements. Consumer Complaint: I am the victim of ID theft, and filed an FTC ( XXXX ) Report, XXXX Police ( XXXX ) report XXXX XXXX police report ( XXXX ) and XXXX affidavits under oath XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX. Several Accounts have been opened in my name and charges made not by me. I filed a claim for relief under the the fraud and Id restoration services offered by my memberships to my XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX ( claim XXXX ). I have been supplied a diligent restoration support agent under XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX whom is the silver lining of support. Unfortunately there are still XXXX accounts being reportedly negatively due to ID theft. I've supplied all the necessary evidence in dispute of the specific information due to fraud/larceny. The information was changed only to add new unverified, inaccurate and incomplete recordings. The enclosed file provide accurate and detailed information on this complaint. Thanks for facilitating.

Consumer Complaint: I applied for the scra through navy federal to lower my interest rate on my credit card. My process was approved with only the refund to my account, but my interest remained at 18 %. Under XXXX law, as with still being XXXX XXXX, my interest rate should be capped at 6 %. Following up with Navy Federal, they stated that my credit card interest will not be dropped. They stated that previous charges were accounted for with the lower interest rate and that all current charges and payments will remain the same.

Subissue: Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement

Consumer Complaint: Navy federal sent a letter stating they would provide a provisional credit and get a rebuttal from the merchant. If the rebuttal was received they would forward it and continue the investigation. They did not provide the rebuttal from the merchant and instead posted the amount back on the card. Also, the charge should not have been allowed since the entity ( merchant ) XXXX XXXX is using XXXX Government employees to provide services and it is ILLEGAL for Navy Federal to directly or indirectly process payments for XXXX sanctioned persons or countries.
