Consumer Complaint: I was a victim of identity theft and have provided these documents multiple times. There is ONE account that shows up in collections that should not be there ( for {$140.00} ). As a result, I was recently denied a mortgage with NFCU when I have 100 % payment history and have no delinquent/derogatory debt as advised in the letter. All of my accounts are paid as agreed. I dont know what the bank is looking at to make this decision since I dont see it and would not think a home loan would face denial for {$140.00}. This adverse action is affecting my quality of life!!! Additionally, Medical collections/debts should not be showing up on my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: Around XX/XX/2023 I noticed that my card was charged multiple times without my knowledge or authorization. I spoke with the fraud department and let them know that my card was stolen and that I did not make the transactions on the account. A couple of the transactions were done out of the Country which I had not traveled out the country. The rep told me that they would credit my account and do their investigation. A few weeks later I received a letter stating that they did not find any errors and reversed the credit. On XX/XX/XXXX I called Navy federal and spoke with a different rep and she told me that I could put in for a 2nd review which I did. I asked them in my digital message to send me what they actually did for their review and that I am not liable for any charges that I did not do so I don't understand why they reversed the credit. A week later they reversed the credit again and now are saying that I am liable for all the charges. This is for my business credit card with Navy Federal credit union. I've been a customer with Navy for years and never had an issue. Total amount of charges {$24000.00}

They said there was a problem with the recipients address. Keep in mind this is the third time I am sending a wire to the same recipient. I was told the wire could not be sent because of the address. I askes to cancel the transaction and have the money refunded to my account. I was told three business days. I allowed 7 business days. The funds were still not returned. I call Navy Federal they told me they can't do anything, Its up to XXXX XXXX to return the money if the feel like returning it. So they tell me I might not get my money back with no explanation of why the money is being hijacked or just taken.

Consumer Complaint: Beginning of XX/XX/2023, my vehicle was broken into. I had personal property that was stolen and my personal identity information, as well as financial information, was potentially compromised during this break-in. Fraudulent activity was identified between my Navy Federal Credit Union ( NFCU ) and another banks checking accounts. I reported the fraudulent activity with both banks on XX/XX/2023. Totaling over {$15000.00} between the two accounts. NFCU did not provide a provisional credit towards my account, nor did they try and contact me on the matter once reported. This caused me financial hardship which I have yet to been able to recover from. On XX/XX/2023, NFCU sent me a direct message through its app saying the investigation is complete, no fraud. No explanation as to how they came up with this determination. It was very frustrating. I am currently still going back and forth with the company about this matter. Police report has been made.
