Consumer Complaint: Navient has been reporting on my credit ( co-signed. ) My son has gone round and round with them about application of the payments he has made. They have in the past called me with threats to seize property or sue me. They were informed, at the time of job loss, for both the primary and the co. They have reported in error and have been one sided in details, even after trying to resolve and bring account current. Because of their bully approach I now avoid giving my phone number or email address and require mail only. I would like to speak with them but they make it unresolvable to have a conversation. I had perfect credit and when they decided to put this on my report, this one account has dropped my score 200 points. Why would one account be so impactive when you have all the others excellent? I am upset and lacking confidence in student loans going forward. If this is the process for obtaining help to receive an education why would someone proceed? Who is stand in the gap for me and my son? I need help.

Consumer Complaint: Navient claims that they are " here to help. '' However, with the extensive cost and stress of a XXXX XXXX XXXX daughter battling XXXX, Navient refuses to work with me on making my payments affordable, or temporarily delaying them. I want to make good on my debt, but I can not afford the $ XXXXmonth that they are demanding. They only take into account your income, and not your daily living expenses and other bills. I went through Federal Aid to revise my XXXX, and XXXX came up with a payment of $ XXXXmonth, which is manageable! Unfortunately, for some unknown reason, Navient declined the revision and still demand the $ XXXX/month. I will gladly begin repayment at $ XXXX/month, and have literally BEGGED Navient to make my payments affordable, but they would rather see me go into default than payback my loans. Instead of considering each individuals ' unique circumstances, Navient simply sends the same standard template responses ( to my DOZENS of emails ) and refuses to work with me.

Consumer Complaint: On or about XX/XX/2019, Navient sent me notice indicating it had " recently received notice that you filed for bankruptcy '' and requested I send information regarding the First Meeting of Creditors. I don't know where they received information that I had filed for bankruptcy. On XX/XX/2019, the phone calls began. Some man with an accent started calling ( XXXX ) or something like that. He is unable to understand what I say to him - often misinterpreting what I say and then accusing me of lying to him afterward. On XX/XX/2019, I had enough, I laughed at the information he said back to me because I said none of those things. He said " I don't understand how you live your life, last time we talked you were crying and today you are laughing. '' I immediately asked to speak with someone else that was not rude but instead received a phone call from an unhappy woman that continually accused me of never wanting to pay back my loans. I told her the phone calls stress me out and she said " I'm gon na stress you out right now and personally refer you for litigation '' and then hung up on me. Today, XX/XX/2019, XXXX or whatever the man 's name is, called me and asked me how I sleep at night. This upset me. He again asked if I was laughing. Phone calls by these individuals treating me like I am some awful human being that committed heinous crimes because of my financial inability to pay {$1000.00} per month for the rest of my life should stop. I should also note that XXXX called and left my brother a voicemail indicating that I have " abandoned '' the loan.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2019, Pioneer Credit Recovery called cell phone numbers that are under my name ( XXXX, XXXX and XXXX ) looking for a XXXX XXXX XXXX. After speaking with the person that called, XXXX, I asked for a supervisor and spoke with XXXX XXXX. Ms. XXXX explained that they go on the internet and pull phone numbers for anyone with the same last name and call them to try to locate the person they are looking for. They should not be calling any of my phone numbers since I am not the person they were looking for.

Consumer Complaint: I have spoken with Navient about the school closing so i wasn't able to finish my degree and i was not paying the loan if i was unable to finish to classes. They refused to send me paper work after asking numerous times. The final attempt was 3 months ago they told me i only had 100 days to fill out the closed school form which i was asking for for over 3 months. If i need to turn this over to an attorney and file a lawsuit against them then that is what i am going to do in less than 30 days unless this is resolved. This mark on my credit has kept me from buying a house. Why should i pay for a loan that i wasn't able to complete the degree and credits was non transferable.

Consumer Complaint: Navient has submitted a 90 day late payment to the credit reporting agencies. Currently, I am almost 120 days late but the only option Ive been given is to pay {$1600.00} to become current. I do not have {$1600.00} and I dont have the ridiculous amount of money that they are asking me to pay every month. They are no longer giving me any options for forbearance, as I have exhausted that option. They continue to add interest to the principle and I currently owe 5 times more than they loan I took out. Please help!

Issue: Dealing with your lender or servicer
Subissue: Keep getting calls about your loan
Consumer Complaint: Navient has been the servicer for years. I have also not paid on my loan for many, many years. I am currently in a better financial place and have recently started paying on my loan. I am paying significantly more than the amount due. The problem is, is that when I wasn't paying I rarely, if ever received a call, email, or even a bill from Navient. Now that I have been paying the loan they are harassing me. They have called family members. Today, XX/XX/2019, they called at XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. I have repeatedly told them they could no longer contact me by telephone, and I will only accept communications by mail or email. They call at least once a day, every day but some days they call non-stop. I think I was better off not paying, then I wouldn't be harassed.

Issue: Dealing with your lender or servicer
Subissue: Keep getting calls about your loan
Consumer Complaint: I have submitted information on Navients website to defer for a few months. For the past 3 weeks Navient representatives have been calling my work in our office every day before XXXX. Describing the nature of their call which gets routed through to the receptionist, so they are not keeping my information at all private. I requested in XX/XX/XXXX that I not get calls in office, renegotiated my loan termsz then Im XX/XX/XXXX they began to call again. I spoke with someone telling them again not to do this. He said I waived my right to not receive multiple calls at work when I signed my loan agreement. He would not pass me to a supervisor. And I requested a call back from a supervisor after which the customer service agent hung up. The next day, which would be today XX/XX/19, I received another voicemail from Navient. I had explicitly said not to call as well as gave my phone number, which I asked the customer service rep to confirm he has. He refused to do this before he just hung up. I would constitute this as deliberate harassment and sharing of personal information.
