Consumer Complaint: Pioneer Credit Recovery has been calling me multiple times in regards to my student loan. I am currently set up on a rehabilitation plan with them, which is paid automatically directly from my bank account. All payments are up to date and not in arrears. This company has contacted me multiple times a day at my place of employment, but never leave a message. My mom has received 7 phone calls during the week ending XXXX. She is not involved in the payment process for this loan at all. Pioneer Credit Recovery also called my sister in law 's brother on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. He is merely a XXXX friend, and I have no idea how they found his phone number. He obviously has no involvement and his being contacted is inappropriate and unacceptable. I have received complaints of the above nature from other family members and acquaintances.

Consumer Complaint: I received a delinquent notice that Navient sent me to collections on a student loan that I never was behind or late on. I graduate from XXXX University in XX/XX/2019 and was a student when Navient reported me for being out of school since XX/XX/2019. I spoke with Navient and was told to submit an enrollment verification from XXXX University to them and they would remove the 90 day delinquent notification on my credit report and they reevaluated my time in school. I received a letter from Navient that stated I was in the grace period until XX/XX/2019 yet it shows that as of XX/XX/2019 on my credit report that I was 90 days late on my student loan repayment. How is this even possible when I was in a grace period and the letter I received from Navient shows that I was not late or at risk of being late yet they refuse to take this off of my credit? I shouldn't have this remark on my credit report and was told in XX/XX/2019 that Navient would remove this yet they haven't and now I submitted the paperwork to XXXX and they refuse to remove it from my credit. My credit scores dropped over 100+ points in XX/XX/2019 and I have not been able to get them back to the state of over 615 like it was in XXXX 2019. I want this immediately removed from my credit report and Navient to be held accountable. I also know that when I looked more into the issue with Navient and they have class action lawsuits for this very reason and I don't believe that their inability to take responsibility for their errors should be placed on me.

Consumer Complaint: I was about to graduate in XX/XX/2018, when I was told by XXXX XXXX that he had an idea that would allow me to walk for graduation. I was desperate and wanted to explore any alternatives for graduation. He told me it was a loan through the school, but come to find out its a private loan from Navient. He made me take out the loan AFTER I shown proof that they owed for a health fee I ALREADY PAID FOR! Not only that, Im still in XXXX school, and they continue to keep bothering me. Please help me

Consumer Complaint: I'm a current customer who has been in forbearance for some time now. Though I stand to soon start paying off a substantial student loan amount, I haven't been in a position to pay off my loan quite yet. I have signed up for an IBR and do intend on being considered for the Public Servant loan forgiveness program -still waiting to hear back about it- but I, at the moment, am not in a position to begin repayment. As the IBR has already been calculated, I've already been able to calculate what my payments will look like when I am ready to start making payments ( hopefully as soon as later next month ). Yet, I have to live my life and strive for the things I need, namely, buying a house. And as is customary for buying a house, I am doing my best to fix my credit, which has not been ideal. Despite the amount of debts I've been working on paying off, I've been doing a really good job and making a super concerted effort increasing my score over time. But there is an enormous obstacle in my way, and that is your incorrect reporting. As far as I can gather, from my heavy research, conversations with XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX personnel, and from your personnel and website, my increases in interest while in forbearance should not be affecting my credit score. Yet in XX/XX/2019, my credit score increased by 64 points and yesterday, XX/XX/XXXX, it increased by 47 points. Prior to XXXX, I had close to 600 in my credit score, but then an increase in my Navient loans ( though I was in forbearance ) for about XXXX dollars or so, brought me down to XXXX. After I was discouraged from applying to a home because of this, I submitted a letter to Navient and my credit bureaus about this mistake, which I thought had been rectified, and then went to work at improving my score. Recently, my score was a XXXX, just XXXX shy from the minimum most conventional lenders would consider. I was just about to apply for pre-approval when I wake up this morning to this terrible news. Now I'm at XXXX! I can't apply for the house again and all because you are reporting to the credit bureaus about my interest increase. I have not received any notification that credit reporting standards have changed and it is directly affecting my family, despite my writing a latter to Navient and not being in default at all. Never have been. All you know is that no matter what you do, something random and completely out of control just plunges your credit score when you're not expecting it and rather unjustly. And then it's the weekend, so you can't get this resolved until Monday, and even then, you'll have to wait a while until the issue is fixed ( if it can be fixed ) and just hope that when the next cycle goes through, it doesn't happen again. It is so discouraging and Navient does nothing to fix this. I'm attaching snapshots of this error and am sharing this with all of the relevant organizations. I'll also be writing a news article about this. Please fix this as soon as possible.

Consumer Complaint: I borrowed XXXX dollars from Navient in XX/XX/XXXX, it was a private student loan. It was repaid faithfully for 2 years but never went down, it only grew. I couldn't afford the payment any longer and they were not giving me any relief opportunities. I defaulted, now to this day well over ten years later they are still reporting on my credit report, stating I owe over 10,000 dollars. They go from account closed to account open, they change dates regularly, they have posted that i made a payment when i didn't, all so they can keep it on my credit report. My son was XXXX in XXXX of XXXX, and I received a notice that I had made a payment on the day we XXXX him! Their acts are fraudulent! They have tried to sue myself and my co signer, they do not head to the cease and desist. I don't understand why the credit bureaus allow them to keep submitting when they are so old of a debt.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX of XXXX, I was made aware that Navient/Department of Education had placed missed payments on my account for the months of XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX although they should have been in deferment status. This notation was added on to the 11 accounts I have from this servicing provider making it 22 missed payments for the months in question. When I spoke to them in XXXX of XXXX the representative advised me that they would fixed the error, bring my status back to current and going forward my loans are in deferment status. XXXX of XXXX, I saw the drastic changes on my credit report and reached out to Navient about correcting the errors, and they denied my request claiming it wasnt an error in their behalf. However, if it were true that I had in fact missed a payment how come I was never contacted? They told me that they leave messages for me on their website in the inbox provided there. At that time I had no knowledge of the communication they attempted to have with me through their portal as I was never made aware of it. I ask that you all assist me in getting these missed payment notations deleted from the 11 accounts on my credit reports as it is defamation and false. It has also made me look like a terror in the eyes of lenders. I have always had 100 % payment history and now my credit is doomed because of this.
