Consumer Complaint: I was shocked when I reviewed my credit report and found late payment on the dates below : XXXX-XXXX 2018 I am not sure how this happened, I believe that I had made my payments to you when I received my statements. My only thought is that my monthly statement did not get to me, or the payment was not applied as fast as expected.

Consumer Complaint: Some time in XX/XX/2020 I placed a call to Navient inquiring about an education loan that was showing up on my credit report. I gave Navient my information and they were unable to locate an account. The representative was able to locate an account when I gave my social security number but nothing else matched. I was told I would receive paperwork in the mail and to fill it out and send it back. On XX/XX/XXXX, I sent back to Navient the completed form, with copies of supporting documentation such as my social security card, my driver 's license, etc. I heard back from Navient on XX/XX/XXXX asking for a copy of my high school diploma. I got in touch with my high school and all they were able to do is provide me with a copy of my transcript. Being as that I graduated high school XXXX years ago, my high school is unable to re-issue a diploma. Further more, it is not something that they make in-house and would have to find the business that they worked with XXXX years ago to produce another diploma. They assured me it was a certified copy and that it should serve whatever purpose I needed it for. I sent a copy of the diploma to Navient on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter that Navient was unable to verify my claim of identity theft and that the loans were mine. The reasons they gave were that I requested deferments/forbearance/consolidation/forgiveness, and submitted correspondence acknowledging responsibility for the loan. On XX/XX/XXXX, I responded requesting evidence and documentation of these requests for deferments/forbearance/consolidation/forgiveness, and copies of any and all correspondence I have submitted that acknowledged my responsibility, and payment history, dates and and amounts of any and all payments made on the loan. I also requested description of the procedure Navient used to determine thevalidity, accuracy and completeness of the student loan such as the school name, address, name of person contacted, and telephone number. On XX/XX/XXXX, Navient sent a letter stating that they were unable to confirm my claim of identity theft/forgery for the following reasons : requesting deferments/forbearance/consolidation, not receiving requested documentation to substantiate claim, and that I expressed interest in enrolling in alternate repayment programs. I need help. It seems like Navient is looking at me as a person with a genuine and legitimate concern. I only receive form letters saying the same thing over and over. I have sent everything they have requested but there is no acknowledgement of these documents. The loan does not belong to me and I need help just getting them to listen and look at all the evidence I have provided. I was not even in US during the times Navient said these loans were borrowed.

Consumer Complaint: Navient student loan delinquency mark requested be removed due to rehabilitation and not my personal-direct loan. 30 days ago launch my status to control my credit reports and errors on my credit reports from XXXX, XXXX XXXX, and XXXX. Directly filed complaint reports with credit reporting Agencies to contest in most cases 3-5 items listed. Primarily, the outdated and incompleted report from Navient. The Credit report agency agreed to remove most but not the Navient delinquency report. They indicated that this must be done by Navient. I filed a complaint with Navient to have transgression removed. I base my dispute to facts that the Loan XXXX XXXX XXXX was sons loan and that I was a cosignee. Unaware of delinquency matters but co-responsible. I immediately helped him become current and pay off account-close it. Account was closed out on XX/XX/XXXX and original account opened was XXXX. Navient will not help or understand to correct and remove this history. Navient loans are rehabilitated and in good standing for some time..

Subissue: Trouble with how payments are being handled
Consumer Complaint: I went to XXXX XXXX from XXXX to XXXX to the XXXX XXXX XXXX program. During that time I was told they the program was accredited and that I would be able be certified. The program never became accertified and I was never able get a job in that field. I submitted a Borrowers Defense Claim in XXXX for the XXXX XXXX student loans. It has now been 3 years and the claim is still pending. Because this claim is still pending its affected my credit greatly and its even affected me trying to buy a house. When I called Navient to see my payment options where I was told it would be over {$800.00} a month. There isnt even a chance to consolidate loans for a lower payment due to the ongoing dispute. Due to this dispute, I am not able to move forward or pursue additional resources.

Issue: Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Their investigation did not fix an error on your report
Consumer Complaint: In trying to resolve a disputed error on my credit report with XXXX XXXX for more than a year and to no avail have they responded to the error made on my credit report. To date, it continues to show a late payment entry from XX/XX/2014 as that is impossible since the account was closed and transferred to another lender with the same account number and that one showed no late payments and paid-in-full. It appears that I have a double entry for two of the same accounts. After being assured that all would be resolved, all ( 3 ) credit bureaus still show inaccurate payment information. I was then advised it was up to me to dispute with all ( 3 ) credit bureaus and I did just that. I have written countless dispute letters for more than a year and no removal. I have been trying to clear this matter for over a year with all ( 3 ) credit bureaus XXXX, XXXX and XXXX and creditor directly. I appreciate any assistance you can provide in clearing this matter.

Issue: Struggling to repay your loan
Subissue: Problem lowering your monthly payments
Consumer Complaint: I had called to lower payments and I was refused because I did not qualify as I made to much to lower my payment. I was told I have to pay {$700.00} a month. I could not do that so I paid what I could. $ XXXX {$150.00} a month is what I could afford at the time. XXXX they sent my loans to collections because I was not paying the full amount they told me of {$700.00}. I am unsure of the exact dates when I had spoke to someone but I think it was back around XXXX. After I got out of collections and saw what I was to be paying a month which was still high for what I could afford and seeing my loan had more then doubled. I gave up because my voice wouldn't be heard and felt I would not get the help I needed.
