Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Account information incorrect
Consumer Complaint: I contacted Navient in regards to information that was reported to the credit bureaus regarding a series of late payments in XXXX. I advised the company that the accounts were made current and that I was placed into forbearance at that time and requested the errors be completed. They refused this request as they claimed that they believed the information to be accurate ( without a proper investigation ). This contact was made on XX/XX/XXXX. I then sent a formal letter of dispute via certified mail to the Navient Credit Department the following day on XX/XX/XXXX as per the conversation on the phone they would not let me speak directly to a representative and claimed they only took snail mail. To date I have not received return correspondence to this dispute letter. Today is XX/XX/XXXX. I have also sent dispute letters to the credit bureaus dates XX/XX/XXXX and am awaiting a response. This information has not been verified and is inaccurate and hurting my credit score.

Consumer Complaint: Navient student loans have been collected interest payments from my parents since XXXX. In my best ability to contact them while on XXXX XXXX orders serving in XXXX I had my mother send them my contact information. They never contacted me via gov email, personal email, or phone. Between XXXX and now they removed my father ( co-signer and retired 100 % veteran ) off the loans, credited him {$600.00} and made my mother, XXXX XXXX the beneficiary. After a security clearance alert, I contacted Navient directly. They told me they sold my loans off and had no idea I was XXXX XXXX. I commented that the information they provided me was predatory, lacking in my self awareness, XXXX XXXX needed to be continuously updated. When I questioned why my father was removed and not forgiven for several loans, they told me to refer to the collections. Navient purposely and willfully, attempted to collect a debt both illegally and without true transparency.

Consumer Complaint: I had student loans and was making payment on time up until a certain point ( payments were automatic, the card I was using expired and I never realized it ). Eventually the loans went into default. I was then put into another federal consolidation program which I have been current with payments up to this current date. I have since started working on my credit and working towards a vehicle. This is really hurting my credit and I just would like to know if the way everything is being shown to me is correct. Attached will be photos of what I can see and what I tried to have XXXX correct. It is showing 120+ plus days late but yet the month before and month after are in green. I understand It is my financial responsibility to make payments on time.

Consumer Complaint: As of yesterday, XX/XX/XXXX, I was checking my credit reports to keep up to date information about my credit score which I do often. According to my information, my XXXX score dropped from XXXX to XXXX a 58 point drop in XX/XX/2020. My XXXX dropped 27 points in XXXX and another 27 points in XXXX bringing me from XXXX to XXXX also XXXX. When I checked these sites specifically for changes made to my reports, both XXXX and XXXX show an increase in balance to my student loans due to interest. These reports came from Navient who holds my Federal Loans. I am still paying my loans although the President put a freeze on payments and interest months ago and I have paid off one small loan. There is always some issue with Navient or XXXX XXXX Dept. of Ed. Just for the readers edification, the drop of 58 points in XX/XX/2020, due to Navient 's inaccurate reporting, was a result in a total increase of the following increases in dollar amounts : XXXX has four loans that are mentioned in the increase of ; {$2.00}, {$37.00}, {$37.00}, and {$21.00}, for a whopping total pf {$97.00} dollars. XXXX has the same as the aforementioned plus ; {$10.00}, {$5.00}, {$11.00} for XXXX and XXXX additionally ; {$72.00}, {$72.00}, {$53.00}, {$12.00}, and {$29.00}. XXXX total - {$120.00} and XXXX - {$230.00} and these numbers for XXXX and XXXX are for the same loans with NAVIENT. This has damaged my credit, and has caused me to be unable to apply for cheaper housing.

Issue: Improper use of your report
Subissue: Credit inquiries on your report that you don't recognize
Consumer Complaint: There are two hard inquiries listed on my XXXX credit from a company name Navient dated XX/XX/2020 and XX/XX/2020. Both inquiries were without my consent/permission. I had no idea. I called XXXX and they informed there is nothing they can do about it. So apprently any company with ones information can just decide they want to be nosey and pull ones credit without consent. I also called navient and apparently they do not have a department for this issue and was told to mail them. The address I was given was a false address as well.
