Consumer Complaint: I have initiated contact and accepted calls from Navient to discuss resolving my school loans. Previously, all of the loans were supposed to be on deferment because of the Covid situation and me losing my job. The loans went from being covered entirely to only one specific loan. The few times I called I was given the run around and the customer service rep was only focused on how I would be paying my bill for the month. No assistance whatsoever. Again, this is me initiating the call. Between the months of XXXX to now, XXXX, I receive about 40 calls PER DAY from Navient. I am not even counting the emails that are sent. The company calls from different phone numbers, from all around the nation. I know because I have picked and spoken to a few and I have googled the numbers. Numerous complaints from people. It is beyond harassment and its frustrating to not even be able to receive calls because they are taking up the line. HELP!! Something needs to be done about this with this company. If other companies can not do this, why does Navient feel like they can.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) and Navient : Are reporting against my credit in XX/XX/2017, as a combined report. I just learned about this and could not dispute this. How are two different companies reporting late payments and why wasn't I notified? I need the following since all my student loans were all appropriately deferred in 2017, in all fairness, I am requesting the following ( original documentation for inspection at my home address ) verifying when these two separate companies, which are now combined on my credit report did any of the following : ( 1 ) When they contacted me in 2017 and what address they utilized to notify me ( both individually Navient and CES ) - original documents needed for review ). ( 2 ) When they verify that they were a new loan server in 2017 and what address they utilized to notify me ( both individually Navient and CES ) - original documents needed for review ). ( 3 ) I looked online XXXX and Navient are two different companies ; how, are both reporting the same XX/XX/2017 late payment??

Consumer Complaint: I contacted Navient thru a complaint with XXXX, my complaint stated that they had reported my student loan as in default for 90 days, when in XXXX I was contacted by a representative from Navient that offered me a forebearance and I excepted and they pulled my credit and I noticed it was approved because the interest increased on the loans, however 3 months after this is when I noticed the 90 days past due notice on my credit report and I contacted the XXXX and complained, fast forward I spoke with XXXX XXXX Office of the Customer Advocate for Navient and she explained that my loans were not covered by the memo dtd. XX/XX/2020 from the Office of the President that stated loans would not be considered deliquent during this time til XX/XX/2020. After my complaint Navient placed my loans back current, however no sooner than the did this another month popped up delinquent effective XX/XX/2020. I was told by XXXX that she had placed the past due loan in forebearance but it would only last a month and to call if I needed it placed for the next month I told her I'd done that in XXXX, why do I need to call you every month to place a student loan in forebearance? I told her that none of my loans were in a pay status and that no loans were to become past due in accordance with the memo dtd. XX/XX/2020. Navient has unfair practices because she told me to call when the month was out and I did that and the representative, named XXXX that spoke with me was rude and stated I could not qualify for a forbearance and when I asked him why, and informed him that I'd spoken with XXXX and she said that I could call back and place the loan in forbearance, he immediately became aggressive and offended that I'd questioned him and hung up on me. Navient does not assist the student in anyway, their collection practices are sketchy at best.
