Consumer Complaint: I already reached out to the credit bureaus and to DEPT OF ED/NAVIENT and notify them of their error posting of information on my report. I never missed any payment on these accounts. I have been monitoring my credit report for any changes since my several dispute letters, but I am yet to see the correction that I asked for and desperately need. I requested to generate me personally with a detailed description of the procedure designed to verify the account is " accurate '' but as of the moment no information received. I had also requested the actual proof, physical firsthand documentation of the payment history but I did not receive what I asked and these violations persist on my credit report.

Issue: Dealing with your lender or servicer
Subissue: Received bad information about your loan
Consumer Complaint: I have been trying for years to get an explanation of how the original loan with a principal amount of approximately XXXX XXXX was REHABILITATED into a principal amount of almost XXXX XXXX dollars. And how there can be such an excessive collection amount of almost XXXX XXXX dollars! All I ever receive are the ledgers with no explanation of what Rehabilitated constitutes. Furthermore, there appears to be a loan on the account that I never borrowed for {$19000.00}. I was also on a XXXX Scholarship as my dad was an XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX. After not getting a complete explanation from the lenders, the case was turned over to a collection agency, Pioneer, which also has been unresponsive to my communication. I hired an attorney and he has also been unable to get the requested information. Causing me to incur legal fees. Furthermore, they have violated the fair billing act and held the position that I had to pay the fraudulent amount without a complete explanation or suffer the complete suppression of my credit score. Lastly, for over a decade I was unable to purchase a house or get a credit card. Accordingly, I should be compensated for my loss of opportunity.

Issue: Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Their investigation did not fix an error on your report
Consumer Complaint: After I disputed information to be removed from my account the credit bureau allowed navient to add the same account multiple times. I have 4 navient accounts but my credit report shows 16 navient accounts. I have called multiple times to get the information corrected by the credit bureau XXXX but they have refused to help fix the problem. In fact every time I call for help another account appears. I thought the credit bureau was there to protect me. This information has kept me from being able secure funding for my childs education and a business loan to take care of my family.

Consumer Complaint: Hi Back in XXXX I was enrolled in an Income Driven Repayment Plan with my student loan servicer Navient and I was never informed when it would expire or what I would have to do in order to extend it. I found out in XX/XX/XXXX that Navient Reported me to the Credit Bureaus that my payment was 90 days late. Once i found this out I called Navient and had the Income Driven Repayment Plan reinstated immediately, and I was never required to make a payment. My credit report from XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX all still say that i was late 90 days on 2 separate Navient Loans from XXXX XXXX.These credit bureaus are reporting incorrect information on my credit report. I reached out to Navient to see if they would remove these Inaacurate Late Payments and they told me no. I was decieved and taken advantage of by Navient. And according to the CFPB Director XXXX XXXX so were millions of other Americans. That is why the CFPB sued Navient back in XXXX. This has negatively affected my credit report so badly thst i cant even buy a house. Please help me to remove these inaccurate late payments.

Consumer Complaint: I requested to have my 21 federal student loans consolidated into one account. Navient is the new servicer and has not provided a correct accounting of the total amount due. I made a payment to the previous servicer that Navient charged me for as well as another fee that was not explained, I assume it is a processing charge. Finally there is a credit amount that does not equate to anything and has no explanation. I have requested on multiple times and even provided them with the account details provided to me by the previous servicer. However, Navient seems unable to explain these figures to me. How can they be a financial services company and provide no explanation of the financial accounting of their products?

Issue: Dealing with your lender or servicer
Subissue: Trouble with how payments are being handled
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2021 I called Navient to pay off one of two consolidated loans. Both loans are current. As per Navient 's policy, if a loan is current a borrower is able to make additional payments on the loan. After specifying that I wanted to pay the payoff amount for loan XXXX, the supervisor applied the payment to the loan specified. The payment amount was {$3300.00} for loan XXXX. However upon verifying the application of my payment, I discovered that {$1600.00} was applied to loan XXXX and that I now owe Navient {$1600.00} on loan XXXX. The lender has added .16 of interest and failed to direct my payment to the loan requested, XXXX. Navient has frustrated my efforts to pay my loan in full.
