Consumer Complaint: I would like Navient to remove the 9 missed payment remarks on my student loans they placed in error. Navient failed to place me on an approved deferment for my student loans in Fall of XXXX semester, billed me early due to this inaccuracy & then placed 9 missed payments on my credit report despite this being their error. Due to them failing to place me on deferment they approved, I was hit with a large bill early that I could not pay & they inaccurately placed 9 missed payments on my credit report when I should have never had this billed this early. Below is my letter to Navient with more detail : Dear Recipient, My name is XXXX XXXX & I am a customer of Navient during my tenure at the University XXXX XXXX. I am reaching out to dispute the 9 late payment remarks on my credit report by Navient. I am disputing these due an error of the payments. At my time at XXXX in Fall of XXXX, Navient failed to put me on deferment following my request approval below attached. I was at least half-time per below of XXXX definition & my transcript attached. Navient failed to put me on my deferment for 6 months & you began billing me. On a side note, I had to testify & be involved in a months long court case in XXXX, GA where XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX so I was completely unaware of this Navient error. I began being billed XXXX which would not make sense with my deferment. I stated this was an error & I shouldnt be billed & I continued to be billed through XXXX at this inaccurate amount. Despite my claims of the error, my bill went up to over {$700.00} on XX/XX/2018 which I could not afford that inaccurate bill : My billing should have started on XXXX on your deferment forms on your website & I was hit with 9 late payments on my credit score for not paying this inaccurate amount made in error by Navient. I am now looking to buy a home & these 9 late payment amounts are ruining my life plans. This was an error by Navient not registering my half-time deferment & billing me an inaccurate date/amount that I could not afford. Can you please remove these 9 late payment remarks because this was all created in error. If I had my first bill on the right time around XXXX, 2018 I would have made the payment, but Navient had major errors in the amount owed. I have attached all material needed in this letter. Consumer Complaint: 12 Student Loan Accounts All Starting with Account # XXXX Reporting 9 late or missed payments on each account beginning XX/XX/XXXX. Accounts show current status for XX/XX/XXXX but 90 days past due in XX/XX/XXXX. This is a clear error and incorrect as you can not be current in XXXX and be 90 days past due the following month. The accounts then show being current again in XX/XX/XXXX until XX/XX/XXXX and then 90 days past due in XX/XX/XXXX this again is incorrect and inaccurate information as this is not possible. This negative information is preventing me from securing new lines credit, employment and housing opportunities. I have disputed this information directly with Navient, contacted XXXX XXXX, and XXXX to have this information reported accurately but this information has not been updated. I am trying to avoid a legal suit but feel like this may be my only recourse. Consumer Complaint: I am the consumer and this complaint is filed by myself with no other third party. XXXX and XXXX likes to send nonsense auto generated responses to buy themselves time or to fullfill their 15 day response obligation to the CFPB. With XXXX and XXXX I have Multiple Accounts that are in violation of FCRA 623 ( a ) ( 3 ) because they fail to provide the legally required notice of dispute. I demand these accounts be DELETED IMMEDIATELY or a lawsuit will be filed against XXXX and XXXX as well as the creditor for willfully violating FCRA 623 ( a ) ( 3 ) by continuing to reporting these accounts on my file without the required notice of dispute. The companies named in this complaint ALL HAVE a legal duty to REMOVE THESE ACCOUNTS because by law, they are NOT to be reported on a consumers credit once the notice of dispute was not entered by the original creditor. Continued reporting is a blatant violation of the FCRA and attempts to avoid, ignore, or intentionally harm or misrepresents the consumers credit file 's accuracy is defamation of character AND ALSO IN VIOLATION OF THE FCRA. This has been disputed and complained about numerous times and XXXX AND XXXX continue to ignore the LAW. Empty promises of reinvestigations, automated form letters, and nonsense scripted excuses are the normal response to these CFPB complaints. This has been going on way too long and these companies continued disregard for laws that they are obligated to follow is beyond disrespectful and insulting to consumers. Law suits are being prepared if this complaint doesn't remove this accounts in blatant violation.

Consumer Complaint: Well the interest is ridiculous my loan amount jump to an extremely high amount not sure how. Tried to talk to someone they were rude and not helpful. I have over XXXX in loans and no degree because school says I ran out of money how is this even possible with no degree at the end and can't afford to take anymore classes. Consumer Complaint: This is XXXX XXXX XXXX, who is submitting this CFPB complaint myself and to inform you that there is no third party involve in the process. I have a loan with DEPT OF ED/NAVIENT. I have always made my payments on time. For some reason, I realized that there was a late payment on my credit report. As you can see, I have always had a terrific payment record with this company. I tried contacting the XXXX Credit Bureau with no successful resolution. There was definitely an error on their part. Investigate and update the current status to reflect accurately.

Consumer Complaint: Navient 's website is laggy and out of date. Information is difficult to access and identify to efficiently manage my account. They should have an easily accessible account summary page that allows to get all frequently needed information for each loan without having to click and load a new page. The load time is lagging and the site occasionally crashes. A financial servicer like Navient must have a good reliable website that doesn't make frustrate repaying. They should look to emulate XXXX XXXX account website.

Consumer Complaint: DEPARTMENT OF EDUACATION/NAVIENT,, continues to ignore all proof of claims regarding a dispute for over 6 months now with no response what so ever as well as continuing to report inaccurate information ( FCRA Section 611 Part ( A ) ( 1 ) ). I may presume that no proof of the alleged debt, nor thereof, any such debt, in fact exist. XXXX XXXX XXXX ( MO ) XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have sent countless registered mailings, made phone calls, and have disputed properly online. In addition, refusing and ignoring proof of claims, to correct my information on all bureaus credit sites. I now am PETITIONING FOR ARBITRATION. As the company continues to falsely report inaccurate information in collusion with these third party credit bureaus and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, as well as trying to collect SAID " DEBT '' with unfair debt collection practices in accordance to 15 USC 1692.
