Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Account status incorrect
Consumer Complaint: I have 5 student loans from Navient and loans have been in forbearance. I have access to credit bureau apps now and have noticed that I have student loan lates from XXXX. My student loans were in forbearance and I sent an email replying Yes to keep in forbearance to keep them that way. I have always been proactive to keep loans in forbearance and have also proactively entered a repayment for XX/XX/XXXX. I had to call to resolve this after receiving mail it was not in forbearance and this was resolved but the lates still appear on my credit report. This is the only negative item on my credit report and I do not want this to impact my creditworthiness as I am now looking to buy a home. Please remove incorrect lates from report as soon as possible.

Issue: Dealing with your lender or servicer
Subissue: Trouble with how payments are being handled
Consumer Complaint: I request for my loan to be discharged based on the unfair practices of Navient Education Services. I question the balance of the loan. Its unthinkable that the balance has been decreased only about {$2000.00} in the 16 years of the loan origination. Clearly, the payments I made were not applied properly to the principal balance. I want the loan to be discharged.

Issue: Dealing with your lender or servicer
Subissue: Trouble with how payments are being handled
Consumer Complaint: One of my loans is {$89.00} per month. The other loan is {$100.00}. I allocate {$150.00} per loan each month. Navient still allocates the way the payments are applied, even though I am paying more than the amount due each month. This keeps the interest adding up and the loan never seems to go down. Also, even though I am paying over the amount due each month, the interest continues to add up. I have been paying on this loan since XXXX and it is down to {$6000.00}, but it should be paid off by now. I am paying over the amount due each month so the monies I allocate for each loan should be allocated as such. It seems that all Navient does extend the loan so that it takes more time to pay it off. Navient truly XXXX. Please help. I have tried everything, but keep getting the same answer and that is they say the Federal Government is responsible for it taking so long to pay off my loan.

Consumer Complaint: I have submitted on several occasions the XXXX paperwork to the loan holder Navient, for the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Discharge Deferment due to being on XXXX, and that being my only source of income in the last almost 4 years, that has to support myself and XXXX minor children. Navient told me over the phone numerous times, even emailed me what to send them, and I promptly sent them several times everything that they asked for along with the XXXX paperwork. However they are the only company which refuses to relinquish my loan, or explain why, when all other student loans have been removed due to the XXXX paperwork. They call me to the point of harassment, and well past business hours to the point I am getting calls after XXXX at night, and even over 20 plus calls a day ever during the time that the President had placed a hold on all student payments. This is becoming more than harassment at this point with them. I am hoping that you are able to help point me in a more successful direction, resulting in at the very least gaining the knowledge as to why they refuse to honor the XXXX paperwork that they told me to send them. Thank you for your time

Consumer Complaint: My name is XXXX XXXX, and I am sending this request myself to address the inaccuracies on my Credit Reports. I have been patiently waiting on their response about the written requests I sent. However, any modes of response or coordination were not taken on their end. They have not complied with the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 USC Sections 1681i within the time allowed by law and continued reporting as unverified information which now, given all my attempts to address it directly with the creditor, as willful negligence and non-compliance with federal statutes.
