Consumer Complaint: In XXXX of XXXX I had been calling Navient to advise I was financially unable to pay monthly payments towards the XXXX loans. The reps constantly advised I would need to do A forbearance and the account would need to be sent for review since I had multple forbearances in the years prior. I called again after finding out A XXXX day late payment mark was placed on my credit report for all XXXX of my student loan accounts in XXXX of XXXX. To my surprise I was informed the forbearance hadnt been submitted. I requested the calls be pulled so that the supervisor could confirm the representative was suppose to submit my account for forbearance & to have this issue corrected and it never was. Shortly after I was effected my hurricane Harvey A natural disaster that destroyed My residence and lost everything. I was unable to contact Navient as I had to focus on simply surviving. I was trying to get financial help during Harvey ( The natural Disaster ) & I was denied due to these late payments. Recently in XXXX of XXXX I sent an email explaining again what happened and requesting the company pulls calls from back in XXXX so they could confirm the account should have been in forbearance as promised. And finally Remive the inaccurate late payments that are still currently reporting. Instead they responded saying all information reported was accurate. They are refusing the research the account properly and listen to the recorded calls. Ive submitted yet another email to the CEO and was met with A response stating Id hear something in XXXX business days which I never did. The school I went to was A total scam & I called several times asking if I qualified for A forgiveness of some sort and never was informed I had the ability to apply for A student loan forgiveness under the pretense of the school closing down and misleading me at A young age. This company seems to be head strong for making me suffer for A mistake their representative made!!

This time I felt as though I needed to beg for this help and I was still denied being transferred to the office that I needed. Consumer Complaint: My student loan was with Navient and was past due but went through a recovery program and was transferred to XXXX in 2018. I am trying to get approved for a mortgage however my credit report is still showing that I have an open loan with Navient that is over XXXX day past due. I have called Navient twice. The first time I was told once that I would qualify for a " XXXX time courtesy update of my credit report '' I called back after XXXX business days and was told that it was rejected. I asked why and was not given any answer. I asked that a XXXX ticket be put through explaining that I need the reporting to show no past due balance and that the loan is closed. I was told that this would take typically up to XXXX months to be processed but they would ask that it be " escalated ''. Navient does not notify anyone when a ticket is rejected or accepted so there is no way for me to know when or if this will happen.
