Issue: Struggling to repay your loan
Subissue: Problem lowering your monthly payments
Consumer Complaint: I am in school. On XX/XX/XXXX, I issued a fax ( attached ) of my current enrollment verification certificate ( attached ). On XX/XX/XXXX, I reached out to Navient for why my account has not been updated. They replied that they didn't receive the fax. With the help of Navient agent help, I submitted the document via my account page. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called for feedback and Navient confirmed that I do not have to worry about it given that they received my enrollment verification. Every XXXX of the month I always make interest payment. So I paid the interest on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I checked my account and it is shown past due and will be charged to pay late fee. Again I called Navient, they confirmed to solve the matter but nothing. Until today XX/XX/XXXX, my account is still not yet updated : my XXXX XXXX has been deeply affected. Navient is playing with my life.

Issue: Dealing with your lender or servicer
Subissue: Received bad information about your loan
Consumer Complaint: This loan was a fraudulent loan. In which a law suit has occurred. I would like them to remove the loan from my credit history. And repay me any money that I have already paid to them, they ordered me to pay through my employer.

Issue: Dealing with your lender or servicer
Subissue: Trouble with how payments are being handled
Consumer Complaint: I have been in repayment status for decades and have made payments as required, with bulk of payments having been timely made. I have whittled payments down to {$2300.00} or so from much higher balance. I have now had several years of payments " reversed, '' without explanation, and have been sent a check by company Navient, which appears fraudulent because of typos in the letter attached. The check is for {$8000.00} or more, and loan balance has now gone up by this much. This is an illogical null concession. I anticipate that Navient is attempting to recover debts it has incurred as a result of recent lawsuit activity against it, at my expense, doing so because it is a XXXX XXXX, run by investors whose ulterior motives include purgicide against XXXX intellectuals like myself, who refuse to join white institutions, because they are all raceological obscenities. Because of this ulterior motive, I anticipate that I will have trouble depositing the afore-mentioned check, and that I will not be able to thus, transfer the monies back to the student loan account, therefore still having the higher balance left to pay. I have attempted to contact Navient several times in writing, by email, to no avail. I am due a response and a resolution that does not include excessive exposure to illogical bureaucracy so that Navient and staff can pledge their allegiance to raceological obscenity and XXXX mutiny. XXXX.

Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Old information reappears or never goes away
Consumer Complaint: - In XXXX of XXXX, I placed my federal student loans, which were serviced by Navient at the time, into forbearance due to financial hardship. The " Reply Yes '' email I received ( see attached ) stated they would apply forbearance payments to all of my federal student loans that they serviced- not my private student loans. On XX/XX/XXXX, Navient fraudulently applied forbearance payments to both of my private student loans, which they also serviced ( see attached documents ). I never requested forbearance for these accounts. Because they decided to apply payments to my private student loans instead of only my federal loans, it reset the statute of limitations and the seven-year timeframe that those loans would remain on my credit report. They should have fallen off around XXXX, but my credit report now states that these accounts won't fall off until XXXX. Every time I dispute this, with supporting evidence, Navient refuses to remove the accounts from my credit report. They also retaliate ( or so it feels ) by updating my account with incorrect information. For example, Navient closed these accounts and charged them off as " bad debt '' in XXXX, but in XXXX of XXXX, after disputing this issue for the umpteenth time, they randomly updated my credit report stating that I missed a payment and am currently late- which tanked my credit score even further.

They want me to reapply for IDR program with them, but they are no longer listed as a federal loan service as of the end of XX/XX/XXXX. If that is the case, why was I charged for two months into XXXX?

Issue: Struggling to repay your loan
Subissue: Can't get other flexible options for repaying your loan
Consumer Complaint: It seems none of the prior options fit my complaint. I have just been denied XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX after teaching for 21 years. I enter the income-based repayment plan after hearing about it from a friend. Prior to this, Navient ( and XXXX XXXX ) provided forbearances instead of informing me of the program and enrolling me. I enrolled in XXXX, however this has been an option since XXXX. That was a loss of 6 years toward the XXXX years required. Navient forgave some private loans for these reasons but what about federal loans like mine. The same mishandling they admitted happened to me as well.

Issue: Dealing with your lender or servicer
Subissue: Trouble with how payments are being handled
Consumer Complaint: I paid Navient the monthly payment of {$51.00}. I called them and made the payment on XX/XX/22. When I called, I spoke with a rep, and asked them if I could change the payment date to the SEVENTEENTH ( 17TH ) of each month, as the original payment date of the 2nd, kept falling on or near the weekends. The rep asked me what date I would like to switch the payment date to, and I said, I would like the payment date changed to the 17th of each month. The rep and I confirmed that the new payment date is on the 17th and this is verified via the recorded conversation. So imagine my surprise, when Navient disregarded these changes and called my phone several times TODAY. Speaking with another rep today, the rep CONFIRMED that the date was changed ( this is confirmed via recording as well. ) Now Navient is saying that the rep didn't put the date in, and the only thing that they can do is have me make a payment TODAY ( Not in the agreement ) to bring my account current, and then they would see if they can change the payment date to the 17th starting NEXT MONTH.
