Consumer Complaint: We received on XXXX XXXX foreclosure sale of home, this is the XXXX that we had hears about the sale. We did not received a Registered letter indicating the sale of the home, I was told that the Certified letter was returned to processor because of undesirable address,. We receive our mail at a PO Box because we have had problems with kids taking mail out of our mail box. All the processor had to do was look at the address that we have received mail at for over a year by Nationstar.

Consumer Complaint: I refinanced my mortgage with Nationstar Mortgage. The closing date was XXXX XXXX, 2015 and disbursements were made on XXXX XXXX. Nationstar had authorization to access my checking account for the monthly mortgage payment. As I said, the account was paid off on XXXX XXXX but Nationstar accessed my checking account on XXXX XXXX and withdrew payment in the amount of {$2600.00}. I immediately called them to get the problem corrected and spoke to a supervisor who acknowledged the error and told me that the transaction would be reversed electronically within XXXX hours. The next day since reimbursement had not occurred I called back and was informed that the re-financed account had been closed and that reimbursement would be made by check sent by express mail. That payment arrived today but the amount reimbursed was for {$2200.00}. The bank had retained {$400.00}. When I called for an explanation they tried to " explain '' that according to their records that amount was still owed and so it was retained. I asked the supervisor, XXXX XXXX, if she was claiming that the settlement sheet ( XXXX ) which showed complete disbursement was incorrect. She said the settlement sheet was correct. I noted that the amount outstanding on the loan as of XXXX XXXX was {$370000.00} and that the payoff amount, which she acknowledged was correct, was {$380000.00} and that payment was made as scheduled on the settlement on XXXX XXXX. I also asked if Nationstar had not improperly billed my checking account for payment against a closed account whether I would have been billed for the {$400.00}. She stated that I would NOT have been billed but still insists that the bank had properly retained the {$400.00}. I then called the Settlement Agent, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, which verified that disbursement had been made as stated in the settlement and that all accounts were deemed accurate. He also noted that I had received a reimbursement at settlement of {$1100.00}. No one can undertsand what the retained funds claimed by Nationstar are for.

Consumer Complaint: I refinanced my mortgage with Nationstar Mortgage. They gave a XXXX day payoff to my new lender. During the XXXX day period, Nationstar paid the city and county taxes, which were not due until XXXX, 2015. This caused the payoff to be incorrect. Instead of notifying anyone, Nationstar put the monies that was wired to them into a suspense account. I called to make sure the loan was paid off and after about three days of research, Nationstar found the problem. I immediately offered to pay a payment but was told by XXXX different people from Nationstar that this would only complicate the issue. I was assured this would not reflect on my credit in anyway. On XXXX/XXXX/2015 after extensive conversations with my new lender, Nationstar returned the funds to XXXX who then paid the corrected payoff onXX/XX/2015 after substantiating that the wire from Nationstar had cleared. I want allnegative reports regarding past due payments on my loan from Nationstar removed immediately. I did exactly as the represenatives from Nationstar directed me to do. I also paid interest on XXXX loans while my monies set in a suspence account in Nationstar Mortgage account as well as late fees. My credit has been adversely affected because of the actions of Nationstar Mortgage. The representative from Nationstar Mortgage, XXXX XXXX, XXXXXXXXXXXX, agreed to take care of this matter. but has failed to do the appropriate steps to correct this matter.

Consumer Complaint: About eight months ago, I filed an XXXX for a loan modification with Nation Star Mortgage. I have acted in good faith, sending every document that was asked for - then, submitting them again and again and again. The breaking point was a letter I received approximately 10 days after a conversation I had with one XXXX. She informed me that I needed to re-submit the XXXX with current dates and signatures of myself and my spouse, along with a " detailed letter '' explaining that she has not worked outside the home in several years. I asked XXXX if this will indeed fulfill the requirements.Checking with her supervisor, she relayed the message that it would be. The last time I was able to reach a human being ( which is no longer possible with this company ), I asked if the modification was going ahead. The person a spoke with checked, and informed me that it was. Today, I received ANOTHER letter informing me that the modification COULD NOT be completed because the STILL NEEDED DOCUMENTS THAT I HAD BEEN TOLD WERE NOT NECCESSARY AND DID NOT APPLY TO ME. All the time, I have told these people that I am self-employed by a number of clients, and have provided tax returns ( two years ) as well as the most recent P & L statement. I have done this TWICE. They NOW say they need " 30 consecutive days of pay stubs '' which I DO NOT GET AS A XXXX XXXX. THEY KNOW THIS. I was also informed that I must submit an " AWARD LETTER of BENEFITS STATEMENT. '' For WHAT? I get NO SUCH BENEFITS. AGAIN, THEY KNOW THIS. Now, I am completely unable to reach a LIVE HUMAN BEING at ANY TIME. I was given the name of a " Dedicated Loan Specialist '' named " XXXX XXXX, '' along with a contact phone number and an extension. This phone, like EVERY OTHER NUMBER the company has, goes to the SAME PLACE - the SAME ENDLESS MENUES with LIMITED CHOICES and NO WAY IN XXXX TO REACH AN ACTUAL HUMAN BEING. I have reason to believe this " XXXX XXXX '' does NOT EXIST, which to my understanding, constitutes FRAUD. This company has been LYING TO ME, JERKING ME AROUND and causing a WHOLE LOT OF UNNECESSARY STRESS in my life.

Consumer Complaint: Received my payoff quote from my lender, Nationstar Mortgage. There is an unusually high " other fee '' amount for {$1700.00}. Called Nationstar, talked with a rep. They said my account was tagged with a " referral fee '' back on XXXX XXXX, 2013. I asked what this " referral fee '' was for. They have no information for me. But it is on my payoff quote. Now, they are sending my request of disclosure to their research department and will get back to me in 7 business days with the details of this " referral fee ''. I am 5 weeks into my refi and this throws the breaks on it. This fee can not be rolled into my new loan and I will have to pay it in full at closing and prove that I have the money to do so with bank statements.

Consumer Complaint: I was not notified that my escrow account was short or contacted to find a resolution. I found out about the increase of payment when I got an offer to refinance the loan. It went up from XXXX to XXXX, I ca n't make sense of why. I understand that it would go up when the insurance and property taxes would go up. I want to see in black and white why it went up and they seem to be unwilling to explain to where I understand. Part of the problem stems back to the original loan when they did not get a correct estimate on what the taxes would be and based it off of the taxes for the property alone without any buildings on it. If I have got it figure is that they are charging me for XXXX insurance payments and XXXX tax payments plus XXXX PMI and extra for the escrows the reason I believe that is that they added it all to the payment and not to the principal payment. This change and no cooperation is harming me and my family financial.

We were never notified of our changed interest rate and allowed to resume payments and have been struggling to get a modification every since. Consumer Complaint: Hello, This Complaint is in reference to NationStar Mortgage in Texas and Aurora Loans { bought by NationStar }. I am stuck in a Financial Situation where I can not move forward with obtaining any type of Mortgage because by Debt Ratio is 97 % against a Property I no longer own or Reside in, but my X-Wfie still resides in. Because of a Court Ordered Decision Involving a Divorce Settlement in XXXX, I was forced to sign a Pro-Quit Claim Deed assigning ownership to my X-Wife. I insisted that since we could not refinance the property { XXXX prior attempts }, that my name would not be removed from the Mortgage at that time Aurora Mortgage. My X-wife mentioned to the Judge that a Loan Modification could be performed so she could make affordable payments to stay in the Home. The only Issue I had with that is even if the mortgage was modified to a lower payment, my name would not be removed from the Mortgage. Well, the Divorce proceeded, and after months of paying my x-Wife additional court order spousal support to maintain payments on the home until the payments were modified ( 10 months later ... ). But when i went to check a few months after it was modified, my name was still on the Mortgage. I called Aurora, and they said the mortgage was bought by NationStar. Then NationStar sent me a letter after I inquired about it, that they could not remove my name from the Mortgage unless i refinanced the Loan. I explained to them I no longer have ownership of the Home, due to the quit-claim-deed. This time frame was XXXX. After a few years of hoping my x-Wife would be reasonable and refinance the home under her own name, there still exists the same result as back in XXXX. She is either unwilling or unable to refinance the home, her payments are affordable but my name is still on the Mortgage. I have struggled financially since XXXX, unable to buy a decent Car, and unable to get approved for any type of Mortgage because my debt ratio is 97 %. The difference now is that in XXXX I got married and have a larger family. I believe this is Legally and Morally unfair to me and my new Family as I can not provide for them any type of Home, due to a mortgage that is sitting on my Credit Reports at 97 %, and again a property I do not own according to the County Reporters office, but only on NationStar Mortgage 's books. I have made multiple attemps this year with NationStar Mortgage, with Phone Calls and Emails, but unable to speak to a True Manager there. This situation is Fincially hopeless, unless my name is Removed from NationStar 's mortgage. I can then move on with my Life Financially for my new Family.

Consumer Complaint: I was sold a predatory pay Option Arm Loan that I did not fully understand. I made my payment and the principal balance kept getting larger. Then the loan adjusted I could no longer afford the payment. I called my bank and all they said was to short sale or to do a deed in lieu of foreclosure. When I submitted a loan mod request I was given the run around then several months later only to be denied. I sought out legal counsel, only then to be told that I was given a trial payment plan with on other detail out than a payment amount and told we can not tell anything until all the trail payment are made, only then we will tell you what the final terms are. When I received the final terms I called XXXX and was told that this is what the Investor in willing to do. This is a continuation of their predatory lending behavior. Constructioning a modification over a XXXX year PERIOD still leaves a balloon payment of {$230000.00} after receiving $ ,XXXXWorkout OptionForgivenPrincipalForboNewTermNewPROPERTY 'S CURRENT MARKET VALUE : The Supplied Current Market Value Estimate for the subject property, provided by the Home Owner, Real Estate Agent, Appraiser or Financial Institution is {$420000.00}. Based only on this valuation and the supplied Current Unpaid PrincipalBalance of {$680000.00} the amount of equity estimated to be in the home is ( {$260000.00} ). ( This is not taking into account anyother subordinate financing. ) This qualify for a HAMP TIER 2 PAR
