Consumer Complaint: I asked for HAMP Loan Modification for 30-40 years for 2 % interest, instead I am getting a loan modification for 2 % for 2 years only. Inaddition the letter says the interest rate goes up to 6.75 % which iswhat the current rate is now. Again Nationstar is asking me to pay {$9200.00} up front before they agree to do the 2 years modification. To me this is not the HAMP Program modification I am expecting fromNationstar. To me this is more of scamming than anything else. Scamming in HAMP Program is illegal. Therefore I refused to sign their letter ofagreement/acknowledgement.

Consumer Complaint: I have Nation Star, and yes I pay on the grace period date, but they would call my place of work and I was not technically late. Just very embarrassing when at work and everyone can hear your conversation. I have redirected them to call my cell phone. But they call non stop again it's before the grace period is up.

Consumer Complaint: Hi. I 'm not sure that this is the right direction to go, however I 'm out if options with this company. Nation star Mortgage is in process of ruining my credit. I can not get a rep or supervisor over there to help me remedy what should be a simple situation. Our mortgage was sold to them. We set up auto deduct and every month for about 5 months now, they have not been able to get my account set up correctly. When it was originally transferred from XXXX I was told I needed to do nothing and that auto deduct would occur. At this point I 've spoken to XXXX cust serv reps, and XXXX supervisorsWith no resolve. I 've been lied to, hung up on, and all I want them to do is debit my savings acct each month to pay my mtg. You can see through my bank statements that the money has been sitting there waiting to be deducted. Each time I 'm told that it 's taken care of it never is. I 'm not sure if I should get an attorney involved or what. I really want someone else to service this loan. I have no way to resolve this on my own. There must be a history in my account a mile long from all of the conversations. I feel like I should be paid as an employee of theirs because I 've spent so much time on this. I was told by my bank that it 's an internal coding error on their side, which apparently no one there knows how to fix. I have never been so frustrated or disappointed with a company 's performance in my life. At one point I had the bank and the mtg company on the line and they talked, figured out the issue and there is still no resolve. Funny thing is that when I 've called in after noticing the deductions have n't occurred they are able to pull the money internally ( from nationstars end ). So, you can see there is no issue with the account. My savings number never changed .. It 's always been the same. We use nexttier bank. I would simply set this up through another account if I thought it would help but I have zero trust in this company and quite frankly at this point even if they told me it was resolved I know it would n't be. My husband has direct deposit specifically for this mortgage and we set up auto deduct so we would never be late. Now look where I am. For us to change that over to another account just because nation start ca n't code a savings as a savings is absurd, also as an aside the rep I spoke to at the bank new immediately what the issue was be used it happened to her as well. I found that very ironic. Please help and let me know where the consumer protection from this sort of thing is? I 've set this account up numerous times and have even had them walk me though it. I pay plenty of bills online and automatically, and I 've never seen such incompetence in my life. I have also contacted the XXXX in XXXX Tx which is where I assume their headquarters is according to the billing address. I appreciate your help! Sent from my iPhone

Consumer Complaint: My loan is greater than five years old and I have greater than 25 % equity in the property. As such, I no longer need to pay Private Mortage Insurance. I have informed Nationstar of this fact and they just drag their feet in responding to my questions. They are making me use one of their appraisers at XXXX the cost of one I can easily find. My appraiser is licensed, just like theirs. More importantly, they do not return phone calls and/or do not respond to emails at all. When I call in, I either get transferred all over the place or I am put on hold for an extremely long period of time. Today someone called me, I gave them my information, and they hung up on me. Nobody will answer my questions about how to remove PMI from my monthly payment, nor will they answer questions about what appraiser they use in my state ( CA ). If I am forced to get an appraisal, I should be able to sue any licensed appraiser I want. Not one of theirs who will price-gouge me. I think Nationstar Mortgage is dragging their feet because they have no incentive to eliminate my PMI ( less money for them ).

Consumer Complaint: We had our mortgage modified in XX/XX/XXXX. But due to an XXXX we missed our XXXX payment and received notice from our mortgage company we needed to send in XXXX payments by a specific due date. When we saw a problem we contacted via phone and email our dedicated loan specialist and informed her of this problem. When we tried to send the payment in XX/XX/XXXX it could not be sent XXXX XXXX which is the way we always made most of our payments online. We called the mortgage company due to this was the message we received, and where told by a customer service person they would only take just over four thousand dollars. We explained to them that we where awaiting tax return and they mainly told us we had to have this in asap. We received an collection agency letter and contacted them about our situation by fax but they never responded. We continued to reach out to our mortgage company but as of today XX/XX/XXXX they have only sent us notice as to how much we owe. We where seeking a forbearance mainly due to the medical situation, but they have not attempted to assist us in anyway. Our past due just gets higher and higher and they are aware of this and still just seem to not care.

Consumer Complaint: I paid off my mortgage with Nationstar Miortgage in XXXX 2015. When I called to find out what the final payment was I was informed to send a few XXXX dollars more to cover additional interest that might be due. I was sent a refund check on XXXX/XXXX/15 for {$330.00} which bounced when I deposited in my bank. I was charged a {$12.00} returned item fee by my bank. I have contacted Nationstar numerous times and was told that the check would be resent to me. Finally today I got an email from the supervisor that I spoke to who now states that someone tried to cash the check twice and that if given approval they will reissue a check. I do not understand how a financial institution can bounce a check. In addition I have not received the Satisfaction of Mortgage document which I am now told it is my responsibility to obtain. I have had numerous mortgages and I own a number of homes and have never heard of such a thing. I am always sent the document as soon as it is recorded for which a fee is charged. I do not know what else to do to get the money that is due me and the document that I need to sell the house.

Consumer Complaint: This is a follow-up complaint. I submitted a complaint to the CFPB and in the complaint, had XXXX issues. Nationstar took over my mortgage from XXXX XXXX XXXX. When the transition took place, Nationstar stated I missed a payment. Based upon my records ( which were also provided to Nationstar ), I disputed this and wanted clarification to resolve the issue. The clarification never came. In recently speaking with Nationstar, they seemed to have difficulty separating the XXXX. I want to specifically address the negative credit reportings for XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, and XXXX XXXX. My goal is that these negative reportings will be removed as a result of no communication from Nationstar Mortgage to me and lack of follow-up to multiple requests for information and clarification from Nationstar Mortgage to me. I have provided documentation to Nationstar that shows that the only Nationstar Mortgage activity listed is from me to Nationstar Mortgage. Although their internal records indicate multiple attempts to contact me via phone, there are no in-bound calls from Nationstar Mortgage to me. In XXXX of XXXX, I learned that Nationstar Mortgage had reported negatively on my credit report. I attempted reaching out via email and also via phone. The only communication back to me from Nationstar Mortgage from XXXX XXXX through XXXX of XXXX have been auto-generated form letters responding to my emails saying that someone would be contacting me. Those calls never came. The only time I received any serious response from Nationstar Mortgage was after I initially filed a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ). I received a call within XXXX days of filing that complaint. Nationstar Mortgage did not have any number on record for me as of today, XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I was told that multiple attempts to contact me had been made and that voice mails were left, but no number could be provided that they were contacting me at. I was also told that Nationstar records show that texts had been sent to me. I am not aware of ever receiving a text from Nationstar Mortgage. The most telling piece of all of this is that when I asked today what number they had on file, they stated they did not have a number on file for me. The number I provided you was XXXX ( was instructed not to provide that number here ) which is the same that I have been using since late XXXX. It is also the same number that I provided last week and the week prior during the research. The number was still not updated in the their system. And, it is also the exact same number that I provided as a contact number on all of the emails that I sent to Nationstar Mortgage via the online communications portal at www.nationstarmtg.com. This situation with the negative hits on my credit in XXXX is holding up my ability to list my current home for sale as well as get approved for a loan to purchase a new home. This situation is potentially going to result in damages that are unnecessary and avoidable. This situation has already delayed my ability to put my home on the market which is actually beginning to showing signs of potential slow down. My expectation is that this information will be reviewed fairly, thoroughly, and immediately. Based upon the fact that I did attempt to reach out to Nationstar Mortgage on numerous occasions ( these attempts are documented and are not in dispute ) to address the situation and to try to better understand what was going on with my account and based upon the fact that I was never called back or reached out to, the negative hits on my account for XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, and XXXX XXXX should be removed. I would like a letter stating that these negative hits are being removed and I need that letter ASAP.

Consumer Complaint: My Loan was sold from XXXX XXXX to Nationstar in XXXX of 2014. Before the sale could be complete XXXX paid all property taxes that were past due and for the next XXXX month 's. This was not at the request of me. I had already worked with the city to make monthly payments to get my property taxes current within a 12 month time period. After Nationstar took over the loan they want one full year of escrow to catch up the payments. After 30 hours on the phone with Nationstar and XXXX we worked out an agreement to add it to the mortgage payment and pay this back over a 1 year time span. During the time I continued to make the mortgage payment for the amount I had always paid XXXX. Once this was agreed upon I started making payments for the new agreed upon amount. Seemed good for a minute but the phone calls kept coming and now they were stating we were 1 month behind. After reviewing the payment confirmation numbers with Nationstar we figured out that the last payment I made to XXXX should have went to Nationstar. I got Nationstar and XXXX on the phone together and got them to recognize this. But still the phone calls keep coming. I have confirmation numbers showing all payments have been made but everytime I talk to them the amount we are behind keeps getting larger. My mortgage payment is already 30 % largerthan it used to be and they still say we are behind but ca n't explain why.
