Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXXIn XX/XX/XXXX, After the economy sent our business in a downward spiral, although I really did n't want to, we had to attempt a loan modification. Our loan was sold to XXXX then to NationStar. XXXX DID put us on a trial basis for a loan modification, asking for XXXX payments before approval. When it was time to send the XXXX payment, they sold the loan without notice and the payment was returned therefore, NationStar said they did n't get that money in time to qualify for a loan modification. Also, Nation Star said there was no escrow which was indicated on XXXX 's loan paperwork. They said they had no idea about this matter and that money was in XXXX 's hands. Every time I attempted to call NationStar ( it always took XXXX calls to finally get someone ) for information and payment arrangements, I was given a different representative. Many times the person I spoke with was degrading and rude when I would ask for a look back at the last phone conversation. The response was " we do n't keep records of the last phone call ''. This happened many, many times. No one would help us get a modification. We did fill out at least XXXX loan packets and each time something was missing - not in reality, but I can promise you we had everything in ALL the packets. It was as if there was a scam going on. Because I could not afford the time or money, I reached out to my Congressman and the Attorney General 's office for assistance. I did not get any answers but they did take my information and said they had many complaints from these companies. It was a joke to them but in XX/XX/XXXX, the home we built on XXXX acres of near our family and lived in for 15 years, was foreclosed by Nation Star - losing our home was devastation and heartbreak. The only thing that stands between us and starting over, are the names of these crooks on our credit report! My only request is not money or a lawsuit, but to have XXXX AND NATIONSTAR do what is right and take the foreclosure OFF all three credit reporting agencies. They TOTALLY messed around with us. In my heart I no one ever planned to help us get a loan modification.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, I am writing regarding my mortgage loan which is serviced by Nationstar. There has been much discrepancy on who is the owner of my mortgage and if the mortgage was bundled legally, within the required time period, when it was sold. Because Nationstar could not or would not answer these concerns, a securitization audit was done on my account. The securitization audit revealed that the bundling of my loan was not done legally, and in the required time period. After obtaining this information, I sent the necessary documents for the rescission of my contract with Nationstar MortgageI will be attaching documents which explore these complaints more fully. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter from Attorney 's XXXX. The letter stated that they where sending the letter in compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and that I had 30 days to dispute the debt. This is the first communication I have received from this attorney. I did dispute the debt in writing and I sent the dispute to them via Certified Mail. According to the post office and the signature card the dispute was received by XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX. This is well with in the 30 day time frame. According to the Colorado Attorney General Website " You may dispute the debt ( or any part of it ) within 30 days after receiving the first notice. Your dispute must be in writing. The collection agency must then stop collection efforts until it mails you proof of the debt ( a bill or court judgment ) and the name of the original creditor if requested ( if different from the creditor listed on the collection notice ). '' On XX/XX/XXXX I logged on to the XXXX XXXX Public Trustee 's Website and I notice that they have already submitted the info to the Trustee for foreclosure. They have not responded to my dispute yet and obviously have not stopped the collection efforts. I contacted the XXXX XXXX Public Trustee and they said the foreclosure packet was received on XX/XX/XXXX. In addition they have already scheduled a sale date for XX/XX/XXXX. Before filing this complaint I called XXXX, they said that they are in the process of responding but they can still file paperwork with the Trustee. I have clearly been taken of advantage of and lied to by the banks and lawyers and they should at least be made to follow the laws. It appears to me that between Nationstar and their attorney they have already violated the Colorado Fair debt collection practices act 3 times in trying to collect this debt. 1. by not halting the foreclosure efforts when the debt was disputed2. by not maintaining accurate accounting records3. by not listing work out options on the initial collection letter from the attorneyPlease help me to stop another wrongful foreclosure case. If you need more information about the previous filed complaints please do not hesitate to contact me.

Consumer Complaint: I paid off my mortgage by cashier 's check ; It was acknowledged as received, I believe, XXXX XXXX 2015. Two days later, what had been an automatic withdrawal for the normal mortgage payment, was again taken from my account. My bank immediately contacted me, and advised that my account was over {$600.00} overdrawn ( including a hefty service fee. XXXX On XXXX XXXX, I contacted Nationstar, went through endless sendings of documents by email, and was assured that the wrongly-taken amount, plus the service charge, would be wired to my bank account by last Thursday. Nothing has happened. I have had XXXX subsequent, lengthy contacts with Nationstar since then : they seem to be in chaos ; they do n't have records of my previous calls or emails ; they do n't even have a record of having received the wrongly-taken extra mortgage withdrawal -- even though my bank has provided me with ample documentation -- all of which I have repeatedly provided to Nationstar. They refuse to give me any contact information so that I can deal with XXXX person ; they give me vague promises of action, which are never fulfilled -- and I am expected to call their generic contact phone number in order to get any info on the progress of my crucial info. No one at Nationstar seems to be accountable.

Consumer Complaint: My loan is currently serviced by Nationstar Mortgage. This letter is in regards to excessive fees that I feel I am being charged on my loan. I tried to make contact with Nationstar Mortgage numerous times and was told that they would not speak to me due to the fact that this matter is in litigation and there are certain litigation codes on the file. Nationstar Mortgage advised me to contact their law firm XXXX XXXX. That law firm advised that they can not talk to a represented client, so, Nationstar Mortgage advises me to talk to their lawyer to remove their litigation codes, but their lawyer can not ethically and professionally speak to a represented person. On XXXX XXXX, 2015 a request was made to XXXX XXXX for updated Reinstatement & Payoff figures on my loan. On XXXX XXXX, 2015 I received a copy of the XXXX & XXXX quote from XXXX XXXX. After reviewing the payoff quote provided by XXXX XXXX, there are numerous fees that I feel are excessive and no explanation is given in regards to the fees. The lender paid expenses are unexplained and excessive, the pending advance expense is unexplained, corporate advances are unexplained and excessive, charges for reinstatement & payoff quotes have been charged on my loan and the payoff quote includes non-adjudicated attorney 's fees.
