Consumer Complaint: Nationstar Mortgage took out my mortgage payment twice this month. My bank stopped payment on the second mortgage payment which had the same draft data as the first payment. I called Nationstar to notify them of the error and the next day they took the money out again. So my bank covered the funds and removed overdraft fees so the bills i was paying with the funds that Nationstar took out of my account could be paid ( things like electric bill and credit card payments ). Called Nationstar again ( this was before a big snowstorm that would have left me in the red with no funds for supplies ) and they admitted their error and paid back the second mortgage payment funds. My bank then took out their temporary coverage but I am still cleaning up the mess Nationstar made of my finances. I suppose I should consider myself lucky considering what some on this web site have endured. I am so sorry for you and empathize deeply. Doing business via XXXX XXXX is not the way to run a business. BTW my mortgage was first owned by XXXX, then sold to XXXX, which refused a refi after many attempts via federal HAMP program ( 3 years process, lost paperwork-so they say -- numerous times, many different agents, started over and over again ), then sold to Nationstar.

Consumer Complaint: The property at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX CA XXXX was given to XXXX and XXXX XXXX via grant deed, quit claim deed, will and trust by the now deceased XXXX XXXX XXXX. Furthermore, XXXX XXXX was appointed Executor of the Estate. ( Please see all attached information ). We have sent all of the above mentioned information to Nationstar NUMEROUS TIMES showing that The XXXX 's are now the property owners and should have full authority and authorization to speak on the account. NATIONSTAR IS REFUSING TO ACKNOWLEDGE THIS INFORMATIN. To make matters worse, Nationstar stopped taking payments once they were made aware that XXXX XXXX has passed which is ILLEGAL. Nationstar insisted on several occasions that they never received the documents with all pertinent information and then when they did admit to receiving the information, they stated that the documents are not sufficient. This has been on ongoing for months. Nationstar is refusing to acknowledge this information because they want the home to go to foreclosure sale. This is the XXXX HOME/ RESIDENCE and rightfully so. Prior to the death of XXXX XXXX XXXX, she took all necessary steps to ensure her home was protected and Nationstar has disregarded all her efforts. Nationstar stated, and we quote, " the documents are deemed invalid to name the XXXX 's as agents to releases loan information as the documents do not provide financial authorization and power over the debt. '' The grant deed and quit claim deed are in the XXXX name and have been signed and notarized by XXXX XXXX before her passing. That alone should suffice and grant the BOTH XXXX 's authorization. They are trying to bring the loan current and or receive financial assistance and Nationstar is refusing to allow them to do anything because they want to take the home. They will not provide a payoff or reinstatement. The XXXX 's will assert their legal rights and will be filing a lawsuit and naming Nationstar and XXXX XXXX XXXX as defendants as Nationstar is doing their own interpretation of the law, have neglected this issue, breached their duty, and the XXXX will seek damages. It is very apparent that Nationstar is discriminating against the XXXX 's based on their age, race, ethnicity, national origin, and language. We are demanding that these issues be addressed and expect a response within 72 hours or we will be forced to file a civil suit in district court.

Consumer Complaint: This mortgage was modified some time back. It was transferred in XXXX of XXXX to Nationstar Mortgage for loan servicing. There were some '' lender paid expenses '' apparently sent with the loan servicing from the Modification. Every month since XXXX of XXXX, Nationstar, the new loan servicer, keeps taking part of my normal payment and apply towards these " fees '' instead of to my mortgage payment. ( I was told that these fees can not be collected up front, if XXXX did not actually roll them into the modification balance that I signed for, they could be collected when we either sold the property or refinanced it ) Every month They keep taking monies from my monthly payment, then reversing it, then adding it again.. Now they have sent me back a check, copy imaged in for {$940.00} because they took XXXX applied towards Lender Paid Expenses, again Now I am behind again and they told me today, that I owed another XXXX with the XXXX check I have returned from them to Complete my XXXX XXXX XXXX payment/

Consumer Complaint: I received collection calls from Nationstar Mortgage on XXXX XXXX, 2016 at XXXX and XXXX and again on XXXX XXXX, 2016 at XXXX. The first two calls I did not answer because I thought it was a telemarketer. The final call I answered and was advised that my mortgage was 3 months delinquent. My mortgage is current, and has remained current for the entire duration of its term. After checking their records, they said the calls to me were in error and the account is current. They claim the calls were initiated in error due to my recent recast request. The Nationstar website ( screenshot attached ) also shows a delinquency. The rep I spoke with claims my payments were placed in some sort of " holding account '' due to my recast request. I requested the recast because of {$10000.00} in HAMP funds which have been paid towards my principle in the past 5 years. According to HAMP guidelines, I may be eligible for recast to reduce the payments due to these principle payments.

Consumer Complaint: I got approved for HAmp modification and partial claim. XXXX trial period they stated was for 4 months from XXXX/XXXX/2015 thru XXXX/XXXX/2015 but, pmnt wa XXXX $ XXXXper month. problem was they continued to leave the normal pmnt of {$1400.00} per month and this diference of {$220.00} was going to be put on my credit as 30 days late based on the 4 months trial period I would have been late 120 days late. I discussed it with loss mitigation and they stated I could pay for the trial period up front and thee would not be any latenesses. Unfortunately Nations Star has done this to thousands of persons. I you are XXXX pmnt behind on your mortgage and request a modification under hamp that means your credit will reflect anywhere between XXXX pmnts late and that will result in a foreclosure plus all legal cost among other things. heavens knows how many forclosure they have created. nations Star is a servicer/collector and has been scaming people. They took my 4 months pmnt and never added my XXXX scrows to my account. then they added a interest of {$2000.00} XXXX and reverse it same date. My Hamo modification was approved in XXXX I paid trial period XXXX/XXXX/2015. I started so many emails to no avail same response and lies from the personel as well sttaing that they were part of scrow dept/lossmitigatiom/socialmedia/insurance/modification and mad ebeleive they would transfer you. On yanuary I even got anotgher Hamp modfication with a trial period from XXXX and interest of the same amount as the {$2000.00} that wa sreverse and added to my partial claim.

Consumer Complaint: My loan was modified with a Hamp as XXXX XXXX. ( I have attached my Modification agreement ). Per my modification I was told that my New loan included all back payments owed which included interest, any fee 's and back Escrow, owed. I have made my payments except in XXXX lost my job, so instead of falling to far behind I entered into a payment plan that increased my payment {$700.00} a month to catch up for the one payment behind.I paid my payment plan as agreed, with hardship to my family, but I want to keep my home. My last payment on the plan ended in XXXX which they deducted from my account. This month when I went to make my original modified mortgage payment of {$2000.00}, Nationstar would not accept my payment and I was told I was late for my XXXX and XXXX payment because they had increased my monthly payment to {$2600.00}. They stated they did this because of my new Escrow analysis. When I questioned how it went up {$680.00} a month, when My HOI only went up {$180.00} but my real estate taxes went down a XXXX my payment should have stayed pretty much the same.Nationstar said that I was in the negative because they were going off the escrows dated back from XXXX. ( I have attached my Escrow analysis ). My dispute with them is that when my Loan was modified all these cost should have been included in my new mortgage, The note I signed did say moving forward my payment can increase/decrease due to escrows, I understand that, but it did not state that I owed back taxes and Insurance that would need to be repayed on top of my new modified payment. That is setting people up to lose their home. With My XXXX mortgage payment dated XXXX/XXXX/XXXX my escrows should have started at a XXXX balance or at the very least neg whatever the reserve requirements are. How can anyone afford such an increase, and if I am correct they will once again increase my payment next year, when they rerun my Escrows. Nationstar Mortgage has reported to the credit bureau that I am 120 days late, destroying all my efforts of my Credit repair, and have also stated if I do n't pay the {$3400.00} by the end of the month, my loan will have foreclosure proceeding started. I am devastated, I have a decent job and I am trying so hard to re-establish myself. Selling is n't an option my home is way under water. I believe that Nationstar mortgage has knowingly and willingly set myself and I am sure other Homeowners up to fall behind on their Mortgage payments and having to enter into another Modification process, which is the option they gave me. I need some help or an answer as soon as possible. I do n't have want to be dragged into the Modification process again, It took 7 years, Thank You Sincerely XXXX XXXX XXXX
