Consumer Complaint: We have had a loan with Nationstar Mortgage for years and have our payments on automatic payment via XXXX XXXX XXXX. Consistently for many years, NationStar misapplies our payments and charges us late fees. Each time, we call in to remedy the situation and each time, we have to call in several times to fix each issue. We have spent over 100 hours calling into them and they have yet to fix the problem. Their inability to properly apply payments is ruining my credit through no fault of my own.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX of 2015 Nationstar Mortgage LLC who is servicing the loan on my home in California notified me that my flood insurance, which was for more than the amount owed on my home was insufficient. I was required to obtain flood insurance for the replacement cost of my home at a cost of over 133 % of the original premium. Nationstar threatened to place forced insurance on my home if I did not insure it for more than 3 times the amount I owe on the mortgage.

In XXXX XXXX, Nationstar added a force placed insurance policy to my account in the sum of over {$20000.00} raising my payment from {$640.00} per month to {$3000.00} per month. I am fully insured, and there was no reason for Nationstar to add this insurance policy to my account, and absolutely no reason to add such an expensive policy - I could insure the entire subdivision for {$20000.00} per year. I have contacted Nationstar by telephone on three separate days, and have spoken to numerous customer service representatives, all of whom have failed to assist me, and all of whom have refused to transfer my call to a supervisor. I have faxed and emailed the XXXX pages from my personal homeowners insurance policy, and my HOA 's insurance policy to provide proof of insurance. Still, I can not get Nationstar to change the insurance information on my account. Nationstar has not applied the funds I sent for my XXXX payment, and has those funds in suspense because the records state that I did not make a full payment of {$3000.00}, but made my regular payment of {$640.00}. I am now facing having a negative report sent to the credit bureaus as my account is past due. I do not know how to get this issue resolved.

Consumer Complaint: Nationstar is reporting my mortgage as delinquent from the time they acquired it from XXXX XXXX XXXX in 2013. I 've paid every monthly payment via auto pay on or before the due date since I was first notified of the change in ownership. Nationstar has called since the first month and continues to call me on my home & cell numbers repeatedly asking for payment. I have spoken to them numerous times along with providing them with documentation of my XXXX Statements and printouts of their account transaction history. Each time I do this they acknowledge that the account is in good standing and should have been from the onset. However, within a few days they are calling again and then continue to report the account as delinquent. In addition, Nationstar has sent appraisers to my home on no less than XXXX occasion to appraise the home and claim that it is abandoned, even though this is our primary and only residence and is never left untended for more than a few days or week during family vacations. I personally confronted XXXX of the appraisers when they were leaving the notification and asked how they could claim the home as abandoned while we were even in the home and he stated that he was instructed to do as such. These notices are with my personal attorney. Also Nationstar has terminated my auto payment at least once, via letter stating due to multiple delinquent payments they were terminating Auto Payment. I immediately went back in and restarted in time for the monthly payment to arrive prior to the due date. However, I do think they will terminate again. Unfortunately their practices have seriously impacted my credit score, it 's currently between XXXX to XXXX with multiple 30 day lates from Nationstar. This is prohibiting me from refinancing away from Nationstar in addition to increasing my rates for other loans like Auto and preventing me from getting any new credit. I have also reached out to the CT Attorney General to request their assistance with this matter and would greatly appreciate any assistance your office can provide. Please Help! Thank You in advance.

We have done everything we can think of to resolve matters with our mortgage servicer, your company Nationstar mortgage, but our pleas for assistance have been ignored. We are being forced out of our home because Nationstar Mortgage can not get their process together and are failing to communicate with us properly. The servicing of our loan was transferred to them from XXXX Mortgage, but the payments we sent to XXXX XXXX Mortgage and to Nationstar Mortgage was never applied to our loan. Further, Nationstar Mortgage will not speak to us professionally regarding our mortgage and the problems they created. We are in a situation where they are going to take our home away through foreclosure, but it is n't our fault. We are hoping that you could reach out to Nationstar on our behalf and get them to speak to us. We just need a push, not for you to get involved, unless you are will to do so. The problem started the end of 2011 when my loan was transferred from XXXX XXXX to Nationstar Mortgage. During our time with XXXX XXXX the service was perfect, but once Nationstar Mortgage took over our mortgage issues began and now has turned into a nightmare. They lost our mortgage payments and this was the start of our problems and they are failing to recognize their errors and correct them. Nationstar Mortgage is refusing to work with us and has declined to take our partial payments. They are now demanding the full delinquency amount. This is impossible and has pushed us further and further behind and we are faced an imminent foreclosure.

Consumer Complaint: I own a condo in XXXX and fell behind in my condo fees because of a dispute. The condo assn filed a document threatening to sell the property at auction XXXX XXXX, 2016. I am XXXX % current on my mtg payment. This dispute is about condo fees and the bank 's collateral. I understand that the property is collateral for the loan. I wanted them to be aware of the threat to their collateral. As soon as I rec 'd the doc, I forwarded it to Nationstar Bank. I called them several times and sent emails and they told me repeatedly, someone from the legal dept would return my call. This went on for weeks. I hired an atty who was able to get them moving. When I did hear from their atty, XXXX XXXX, he requested, on the day of the auction, an extension. He stated that his office needed more time. Obviously, this was not acceptable to the board. I borrowed some money and I wired the funds when I did not hear from Nationstar atty. Unfortunately, the board atty, XXXX XXXX, said it was too late. I have no way of verifying what time the money was received by the other side. Now, my bank will not talk to me without an atty!! How do I get any service without paying an atty?. This can not be happening in America.

On XX/XX/2016 I received a letter stating that the house was scheduled to be foreclosed on XXXX, 2016. In accordance with the consumer laws I had sent my documents in 37 days prior to a foreclosure date. On XXXX XXXX, 2016 I revieved a denial letter for modification and informing me I have 30 days to file an appeal from the date of the letter which was XXXX XXXX, 2016. In accordance with consumer laws once I recieve a denial letter I have the right to appeal it without the threat of a foreclosure at the same time of the appeal furthermore I have the right to another alternative to foreclosure.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX, XXXX, i received foreclosure and loan modification advisory letter from County of XXXX. This means Nationstar is trying to foreclose my home. I bought the house in XXXX and paid my mortgage frequently. XXXX XXXX, XXXX they raised my taxes from {$420.00} to {$940.00} that is a raise of {$510.00} per month. This is wrong. My whole taxes for a whole year is {$6100.00}. Dividing that in 12 months is {$510.00} minus what I pay regularly {$420.00} difference is {$87.00}. This means that my escrow from XXXX XXXX, XXXX need to go up with adding the {$87.00}. My regular payment from {$1800.00} when we add the escrow of {$87.00} my new mortgage payment should be {$1900.00}, not {$2300.00}. They are wrong in the amount of {$430.00}. XXXX XXXX, XXXX they took from my XXXX XXXX XXXX account {$1800.00} and statement is attached. XXXX XXXX, XXXX they cashed my XXXX XXXX check in the amount of {$1800.00} check # XXXX, attached is front & back of check. I mailed a check from XXXX XXXX in the amount of {$1800.00} dated XXXX XXXX, XXXX and they cashed the check one ( 1 ) day earlier, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, check # XXXX and statement attached. From XXXX XXXX, XXXX till XXXX XXXX, XXXX I paid 3 months mortgage. I was short in escrow for 3 months, in the amount of {$260.00}. XXXX and XXXX they returned my payments. Now I owe payments for XXXX, XXXX, XXXX and XXXX a total of 4 months. Monthly {$1900.00} X XXXX = {$7700.00} + XXXX the difference = {$8000.00}. To cover all months of their mistake to the end of XXXX is a total amount of {$8000.00}. If Nationstar Bank makes the corrections and email me the correct amount I have no problem to pay my mortgage. And I can forget NationStar 's mistake. Nationstar can give order to XXXX As Trustee or acting as Agent for the Beneficiary ( XXXX XXXX, Assistant Secretary & Vice President ) to stop the foreclosure and to stop harassing my family with the letters and postings. I have spoken to them many, many times from XXXX XXXX to present, I have faxed documents and proofs that they are wrong about 4-5 times and they make only one correction they charged me double payment in XXXX XXXX. And they returned my payment. It took them more than one year to make this correction. I do not like to have the same mistake happen again, because when I spoke to their research Department many many times they say they can not do a lot, I need to speak to the Tax Department, I spoke to Tax Department and explained the same and faxed the proof on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. The same day XXXX XXXX, XXXX I faxed the same documents to the research department. I tried to help them so we all could be on the same page so they make the correct corrections because my taxes went up only {$87.00}, and my correct monthly payment ( principal, Interest, taxes ) is total {$1900.00}, not as they say {$2300.00}. So I can continue to pay my mortgage.
