Consumer Complaint: During XXXX XXXX, the state of NJ was hit hard. It was a natural disaster. As with others, my husband and I suffered financially. I asked Nationstar Mortgage to move the payment to the back of my loan, they advised they would be in touch but no one ever returned a call. My family had arranged this with their mortgage companies and no one had issues. I started receiving notices that I was late or not making a payment. I have never been late since then. I have been sending them letters, emails and making phone calls asking for help but they have proven to be heartless. They have now impacted my credit. All other loans have been paid off but they are preventing me now from being able to move forward. I even requested to be able to pay the mortgage payment for XXXX XXXX and the fees be waived but they proved either further to be heartless and not care about their customers. I need to be able to publicize the disgrace and demonstrate how greedy they are. I really need to finance but since this is on my credit I am struggling. Please help me. I have worked relentlessly on ensuring my credit is kept up to par to allow my family and I to have a great life. The records will indicate that I have never been late on my mortgage payments until this was placed on my credit. I do n't understand why they do n't want to work with their customers. At the time, my job was shut down so I was n't paid so I just needed more time. XXXX XXXX XXXX and all other debtors were more than understanding and was happy that I was alive! Nationstar Mortgage did n't care if my family and I survived, they only wanted their mortgage payment.

Consumer Complaint: It has been an arduous process getting NationStar to respond to my request in resolving account information. Today, I received via email a letter NationStar sent to the property address of the tenant ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) and it was opened by the tenant/property manager. NationStar promised to send this same letter to my address on file, yet it was sent to the property address ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ). The letter is addressed to me at my correct address ( XXXX ) but arrived at the tenants home. NationStar has once again brought my tenant into a situation that is between XXXX parties. In the past, a representative from NationStar knocked on the door of the tenant months ago and asked questions along with providing a business card to her. My tenant should not be involved and NationStar is not upholding its end of the agreement by not providing information requesting. Instead, they are relegating me to a modification for 40 years at 9.875 %. This is definitely unlawful for {$280.00} Principal Balance that was not applied when paid in XXXX 2015.

Consumer Complaint: Nationstar Mortgage charged me a late fee and reported my payment as late illegally. I have a copy of the cancelled check which shows clearly that my check was received before the late payment date. They refused to remove the late payment and if they reported it to credit bureaus then my perfect payment record is marred by this " late payment ''.

Consumer Complaint: Nationstar mortgage has been lying and cheating to us for years. They told us not to pay our mortgage so that they would modify it and be able to lower our payments. XXXX I need help! We have XXXX kids. I am married for over 15 years to the love of my life, but I can not walk many days and our mortgage keeps rising. They have several class action lawsuits against them. We are deserperate to modify or refinance. But after they ruined our credit they have been reporting negatively for over 16 months and we have been on time for 14. They even put that we accepted a special program so it shows up in the negative column even though we are on time. They add inspection fees and other miscellaneous fees that they say we need to pay for and have had people outside our home. We have been on time for over a year but our mortgage keeps rising and I am so sick. While this was happening I was in hospice. I fight everyday to live to watch my kids grow older. We have XXXX amazing kids but I am in so much pain from my body. I am just so sick. XXXX and Nationstar has been dragging their feet. They refuse to fix my credit and they harass my phones and my Husbands and also mail us credit consolidation paperwork. What can I Do? They ruined us. We can not be homeless but need to be able to raise our children. They need to modify our loan and remove pmi like they promised. I have gotten over 10 letters stating that removing pmi would be fromXXXX -XXXX. They have no idea what is going on. My Husband tried and I have my friend typing all of this because my arms barely work to type all of this. This is crazy and terrible for my health. The stress on top of everything else is killing me. PLEase someone help us. We went to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. We have always been told there are many Class actions so we need to join one. PLEASE WE JUST NEED THEM TO CARE enough before I die.

Consumer Complaint: I started the assumption process to get my ex-husbands name off the mortgage in mid XXXX last year. I received the packet from Nationstar on the XXXX of XXXX and began reading through it. I wrote questions down and called XXXX the following week who contacted me originally to do the initial qualifying process. I spoke with her once and she said she would submit an email to the research department and get back to me within 7-10 days with an answer. She never did and after that I left voice messages with no response back. Called about 2 weeks later and explained the situation to someone new ( XXXX ) who said he would submit an email to the research department and get back to me I never heard from him again. I called back on the XXXX and spoke with XXXX. I let him know how frustrated I was since I was apparently on a XXXX window to get my paperwork in or they would close the case but that I could n't get me questions answered. He said he could answer my questions and apologized. I asked him why the {$82000.00} balloon payment was n't on the Good Faith Estimate or the Truth in Lending Statement that Nationstar had sent me in my Assumption packet. He explained that those charges would be forgiven as they were not part of the interest bearing principal amount and that is what the loan is written off of. I then asked him if the closing costs could be added to the loan. He said yes that typically in an assumption they add it as a lender paid expense and that if I ever sold the home in the future those expenses would be taken off the top of the sale by Nationstar. With my questions being answered I signed the paperwork the next day and faxed them in the following Monday the XXXX of XXXX. After sending the paperwork in I heard nothing for almost a month so I called to check and was told it was in underwriting. This was the answer I received for the next 3 months. At the beginning of XXXX I received a call from XXXX saying she would be my point of contact for the duration of the process which was only supposed to take up to 60 days to complete. I felt relieved that I had a contact and did n't have to re explain my situation every time I called for information. She informed me that they were missing information and I needed to get her XXXX items. I told her those pieces of information are in packet that I sent and she said yes but they are now out of date and we need an updated copy. I was angry about that but sent the info again. I followed up about 2 weeks later as I had n't heard anything back and was told that I needed 12 months rental payment history. I told her that I make the mortgage payment to Nationstar every month for the house i 'm living in and they can look at my account and get a 3 year history if they need it. That was n't acceptable so I had to print out a history from my online bill pay and send it to her which I did. I called back on the XXXX and spoke with XXXX, she said the picture of the bill pay history was not acceptable and it needed to be faxed or emailed as a pdf. Again, I was not happy about having to do things twice but did it. She then said that I needed to find a title company so they could send paperwork and I can get contract signed. She then went over the loan amount but she included the $ XXXX as being in the loan and stated that I would need to bring a check for the closing costs. I lost it and informed her that this was not what I had been told months ago and that none of the new documents that her company had sent me had the $ XXXX on them and that I was told that the closing costs would be added as a lender paid expense. She said she would get a hold of the assumption team and get back to me. I called on the XXXX of XXXX and she had not heard anything back. That is the last contact I have had with her or Nationstar regarding my assumption.

Consumer Complaint: I have a mortgage with Nationstar Mortgage. I have been paying my mortgage balance every month. However, during last three months, the entire payment was posted to Escrow balance linked to my mortgage account twice. This resulted in getting several notices from the Mortgage company that I may lose my home due to non payment. This is very frustrating to deal with them over the phone with long wait times and had to email the mortgage company. However, by the time they waive late fees and apply payments correctly in subsequent months, it has already impacted my credit score.

Consumer Complaint: Dear Sir/Madam, My loan was transferred by XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX to Nationstar Mortgage LLC on XXXX XXXX, XXXX Since this loan was transferred, I have had several issues with Nationstar Mortgage regarding the status of the loan. This issue has not been corrected by either XXXX XXXX XXXX or Nationstar Mortgage. Nationstar claimed that I have not paid my XXXX XXXX mortgage, therefore, I was one month behind before the loan was transferred on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. All my attempts to proof to Nationstar that my payments were up to date with XXXX before the transfer was unsuccessful. Therefore, I am now been threatened by Nationstar with foreclosure. Since the burden of proof falls on me to show that I have paid up to date before the loan was transferred on XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I have then gathered and sent all information to Nationstar Mortgage to prove that all my payments were made to XXXX XXXX Servicing to date before the transfer of the loan. To date, Nationstar has not been resolve these discrepancies with XXXX, thereby charging me late fees and also threatening me with foreclosure of my home that I have owned for over 10 years. I have paid my mortgage on time to Nationstar since the loan was transferred by XXXX since XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I have all proof that I paid to date and no outstanding balance with XXXX before the transfer. I have submitted all these proofs to both mortgage companies, however, I am still receiving late payment notice from Nationstar Mortgage as of XXXX XXXX, XXXX. Any attempts to help resolve this situation with both mortgage companies will really be appreciated. If you need any further information or face to face meeting, please feel free to contact me. Thank you for your consideration with this situation. Awaiting your response to this matter very soon. Sincerely, Homeowner
