Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX 2015 we had a bad storm damage our house and completely destroy our shop. We had our inspections and the insurance XXXX sent out the checks for the claims. We had to sign the checks and send them to the mortgage company -Nation Star. We still to this date have not gotten the money back. We got the roof, window and all the debris removed on our own dime ( other than the roof we got a check from them for that ). So we sent in our receipts and got a 100 % done inspection done by their investigator and still have not gotten any money. As advised by our lawyer we have not paid any mortgage payments for the last few months. We have asked for inspection report and have jumped through every loop given to us but we still have not gotten anything from them. We signed a letter stating that the past mortgage was to be taken out of the money owed us then the remainder was to be sent in a check XXXX. Every single time for this almost full year we have done what they ask of us and they are making money with money that is due us.

Consumer Complaint: When we took out our mortgage, I did NOT want to deal with someone remote, so I took it out locally at XXXX mortgage. They were then acquired by XXXX when XXXX bought XXXX. XXXX then sold all XXXX mortgages to NationStar Mortgage ( who is clearly a con company ). So even though I specifically only wanted a local company, now I am dealing with a shady company that is XXXX of miles away. We recently went through major hail damage. I received a check from my insurance company ( XXXX ) and as per the norm, my mortgage lender has to endorse the check. We have damaged shingles, and I needed to get my roof done ASAP to keep from further damage. When I received the check, I overnighted it to the address they had on their website. That was 3 1/2 weeks ago. They have done EVERYTHING in their power to sit on that money. They claimed we mailed to the wrong address ( even though I mailed to the address on their website ). They claimed they lost the check. They claimed they had to mail it from their XXXX office to their XXXX office. They then claimed they had to determine the validity of my claim, and needed insurance paperwork, and proof that I was repairing the damage, on, and on, and on. Today, we got a new excuse. ( remember, one of the lies was that it was being mailed from XXXX to XXXX ). Today, they said that the check was cashed in XXXX and has been sitting in a savings account there for 3 weeks, and now they have to wire the money from XXXX to XXXX so they can issue me a check. CLEARLY this is fraud. They have lied to me several times, further compounding the fraud. They are CLEARLY doing this just so they can collect interest off of my loss. This is despicable and immoral, and really should be illegal. Why are they allowed to collect interest on money that is NOT theirs. And they are doing this by overtly lying to me, and delaying me. I have since had my roof repaired, and I have to keep passing these lies to the contractor, because I do n't have the money to pay him. Now, he is starting to accuse me of trying to con him, because he also sees that the lies do not add up. What happens if he fines me? What happens if he files a lien on my home? All of this because this mortgage company is so XXXX greedy that they have to sit on my insurance money so they can collect XXXX $ in interest? This type of practice CAN NOT be allowed to continue, because this is truly taking advantage of home owners in a tight spot.

Consumer Complaint: I have Nationstar Mortgage company for my home equity loan and they forced place flood insurance on me for {$560.00} I have recently payed them back plus paid them for anther year, then I went to buy my own so they don, t have a escrow on me and they refuse to except my own and refuse to cancel the escrow. they have been charging me extra and holding my check until the grace period is over and charging more interest. They even told me they would do that if I don, t continue to pay a escrow!!!! WHAT CAN I DO?

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX agent foreclosed on my house. After the completed foreclosure sale, the substitute trustee executed a trustee 's deed to the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX filed an eviction suit and was awarded Judgment of Possession. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I filed a lawsuit to stop a post-foreclosure wrongful eviction. This lawsuit XXXX is currently pending in the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX because the Defendants ( XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX ) was granted leave to file an answer to the complaint more than two years late. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX filed a late answer to the lawsuit and included the following affirmative defense : XXXX. Should Plaintiff be awarded any damages, Defendants are entitled to offset and recoupment in the amount the funds due and owing at the time of the foreclosure sale plus reasonable market value rent from the date of foreclosure until the service release of the loan to non-party Nationstar Mortgage , LLC. As per the aforementioned defense, Nationstar 's predecessor, XXXX XXXX XXXX, is asking for rent after the foreclosure sale on XXXX XXXX, XXXX in their answer. However, Nationstar contends I owe them more than {$110000.00} for the same loan their predecessor foreclosed on. I have not executed any loan agreements to XXXX XXXX XXXX or Nationtstar since the foreclosure sale on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. Nationstar is reporting this fraudulent, incorrect, and false information to a third party, the credit bureaus XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is claiming the house was foreclosed and they are seeking rent post foreclosure. Nationstar is claiming I contractually owe them from XXXX XXXX. To add on, Nationstar is reporting to XXXX that the loan is a contested foreclosure. Nationstar is reporting contradictory and false information to XXXX the credit bureaus, and me. Nationstar has not been able to validate their debt collection activity. XXXX XXXX XXXX and Nationstar are colluding and harassing me to collect a loan that was satisfied from foreclosure proceeds four years ago. I will be filing this complaint with the XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ; since my loan was XXXX insured loan. I 've included the following documents to substantiate my claims : 1. The Defendants ' Late Answer excerpts XXXX XXXX. XXXX ) 2. The most recent docket entry of the pending lawsuit, XXXX. Consumer Complaint: I have vehemently contested the wrongful foreclosure of my home by XXXX XXXX XXXX since XXXX 2012. Notwithstanding, the lawsuit I filed on XXXX XXXX, 2012 is currently pending in the XXXX Circuit Court of Appeals. I have filed complaints with the CFPB, HUD Inspector General, and the Courts. However, while the lawsuit is pending, XXXX XXXX XXXX has transferred the servicing of a zero balance loan to Nationstar Mortgage to collect. XXXX XXXX XXXX has never tried to collect any debt from me after the foreclosure sale of the property on XXXX XXXX, 2012. I 've attached documents to substantiate my claims.

Consumer Complaint: Firstly, this is a new complaint against the same mortgage company ( Nationstar ) as my first complaint was. In my first complaint ( XXXX ) I outlined the tardiness of Nationstar in completing the foreclosure on the property at XXXX, MN XXXX, a Condo. After my separated wife stopped payment in the XX/XX/XXXX, Nationstar appropriately notified us of a foreclosure action on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. My wife abandoned the Condo in XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX and later called to the bank to notify them that she was stopping the payments of the gas & electricity. Nationstar did not proceed forthwith to complete the foreclosure until the Sherriff Sale in XXXX XXXX ( Over three years ). In the mean time Condo Assn Fees, Late Fees, Attorney Fees and Assessments were accumulating. I just left the District Court with a Judgement against me for {$10000.00} due to their tardiness in proceeding with the foreclosure. Had they executed in a reasonable time, the damage would not have been so great. What would have been a reasonable amount is now a hardship. In addition, in my first complaint, I reported that the Nationstar management company was inept in protecting the Condo and in XXXX XXXX when I learned of the Zombie Home situation, I re-entered the Condo with the idea of renting it someone who could at least pay the Condo Fees. What I found was XXXX busted pipes from freezing, which cost {$3000.00} to repair.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, My mortgage was transferred from XXXX to NationStar as of XXXX/XXXX/16. I been trying to get NationStar to begin reporting my mortgage account and payments to the Credit Reporting Bureaus. I have provided the signed re-affirmation order from the Court to Nationstar on numerous occasions. I have been told by NationStar Customer Representative that NationStar is reporting my mortgage. But this is not correct. Today, I just got the phone with NationStar Customer Representative. NationStar Customer Representative ask to provide proof that NationStar is not reporting. I have send credit report dated XXXX/XXXX/16 to NationStar. Furthermore, XXXX has removed my Mortgage information and payments from my Credit File resulting in a XXXX point drop in my credit score.
