Consumer Complaint: I applied for an apartment around XX/XX/2022 and was declined admission. I was told by the lady working the sales lady that my deposit would be applied to move in if I was approved. However, she said that if I was denied, my deposit would be refunded since I already deposited money previously since I was not able to move in, because the apartments were under construction. I was not approved to move in and my deposit was not refunded and I had to dispute the charge with my bank. They refunded me the money. Approximately XX/XX/2022 I started to receive notices from the mentioned collection agency that I was indebted to them and owed XXXX XXXX Apts {$350.00}. I have never signed a legal contract or have ever stayed at this apartment complex at the above residents. This collection agency is now placing false derogatory negative reporting on my credit report. I am disgusted this is how they treat a wounded XXXX XXXX veteran would try to find refuge after being flooded out by both Hurricanes Ian and Nichole. I was trying to use my FEMA money to be trying to find shelter, and this place was trying to keep it.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 I received a phone call saying I owed {$4200.00} to the national credit system. I told them the debt was not mine and they said through phone call that I would be receiving mail including more detail. That was the extent of the help. I did not know I can dispute it until I looked online. I filed police report, filed identity theft report with the FTC, called the original creditor, and the original creditor said it was not my social or birthday used, the person only had the same name. I think there was a mistake made on the part of the collection agency.

Consumer Complaint: hello my name is XXXX XXXX a few months ago I checked my credit report and discovered that national credit system had been reporting fraudulent accounts on my credit report. My Social Security number was stolen and used to open up credit card accounts as well as other accounts that appeared to be National Credit Systems reporting on my credit. I have reached out to their corporate offer several times and all I keep getting is the runs around. During the conversation I had with them they said I needed to send proof of identity report and an affidavit, I sent in the requested documents proving that I was a victim identity they said they would remove the fraud account and never did. They are in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting act as my right as a consumer for reporting inaccurate information. I need for this fraud account to be removed or I will take my evidence and file a case with my XXXXocal county clerks office.

I feared for my life there someone walked into my apartment at XXXX he said his name was XXXX from maintenance and he had the wrong apartment. At the end of XX/XX/XXXX there were over 100 cars that had been broken into in the garage attached to my apartment complex. In XX/XX/XXXX was a shooting in the building and there was someone hiding out in my apartment building for hours, I didnt know the extent of the shooting that I heard in the building until XX/XX/XXXX from another resident. There was knocking on my door and turning the doorknob on multiple occasions. Several homeless people in the building, sleeping in urinating in the elevator and asking for money. I have paid everything in full and my move out ledger shows that I am owed {$39.00}. I reported all incidents to the management office.

Consumer Complaint: I have sent three different letters requesting verification and validation on this account. XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and also XX/XX/XXXX. The company has not responded to any of the letters nor have they validated this account as being mine yet they still are actively reporting this account to the credit bureaus. I have not received any legal documentation such as a contract, agreement or promissory note with my signature that holds me legally responsible for this debt. I am attaching the latest letter sent to them but the exact same letter was sent on three different dates as stated above.

Subissue: Debt was result of identity theft
Consumer Complaint: National Credit Systems is attempting to recover a debt of nearly {$6000.00} from me that was a result of identity theft. Someone had leased an apartment in my name in XXXX, GA and apparently walked away, resulting in an unpaid debt leading to collections. Secondly, the same individual took out an XXXX credit card in my name and purchased upwards of {$5000.00} in furniture, all in person, all within the State of Georgia. Keep in mind, I have never been to Georgia, and live/have lived in Arizona my entire life. I have filed a formal dispute with XXXX XXXX XXXX along with XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. Also, I have a police report filed with XXXX Police along with having reports with the IRS and FTC. Since these actions were taken in XXXX, XXXX and XXXX have since removed this " collections '' notice from my report as well as XXXX has approved my dispute of the credit card and has removed that from my information, as well. However, XXXX, denied my dispute and still reports this on my credit, on top of NCS still attempting to recover.
