No other fees due to landlord tenant rules in Hawaii where they failed to uphold their end of the lease. I have police reports and other emails. On our credit report it is being reported that we owe {$5500.00} by National Credit Systems. XX/XX/XXXX I sent a email and letter to both XXXX XXXX XXXX and the collections agency and none responded. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 I contacted national credit systems inc to pay an old debt. It was from a lease that had been broken bc my life was in danger do to an abusive partner. I had put it off because I had other financial obligations. I went to rent an apartment on XX/XX/2023 and was denied because of this debt soley. So I tried to pay this debt in hopes it would resolve it. Initial contact the girl was nice. But said that they cant provide me with any receipts or proof of payment. That I would get my letter of paid in full via email within 24 hours. I said that wasnt acceptable I need a receipt or some for of proof that I paid. I got her supervisor on the phone and he was rude and aggressive. Told me I should have taken care of this sooner. But no receipts are provided. I said Ill pay online then bc I need to provide something to the apartment complex so I dont loose it. He said thats not his problem and if I pay online it will take 48 hours for the debt to clear. I chose to go online so that I had proof of payment on my end incase anything happened like that guy tried to claim no payment and pocket the money. 24 hours pass and nothing so I call back and Im sent to the supervisor who is nasty and aggressive! Telling me too bad I should have lived my life better. I started yelling bc I was beyond over his trash attitude. Told him if it wasnt resolved in 48 hours Ill contact my cc company bc this is fraud. He started saying go ahead and Ill lie and u will look like a XXXX bc its not been 48 hours. I told him he was a piece of XXXX or something to that affect and is doing this intentionally to hold my credit hostage. Bc I cant get housing without this off my credit report. And then he decides to say he is going to issue a refund. I told him he didnt have the authority to do so. And he kept saying nope thats what Im gon na do! Issue u a refund so u have to start the process all over. I told him I would pursue legal action as he is making fraudulent usage on my credit card without my permission. Last time I checked I used a secure payment source that shouldnt be giving my credit card details to the staff. It has now been 60 hours since I paid this debt and it is still not clearing. My credit card company said they paid out their part but the collection agency seems to be refusing payment. Also note I was paying the account in full. I have lost 3 apartment opportunities now bc of this!!!!! This trash human is ultimately and knowingly and intentionally refusing the paid in full amount bc I hurt his feelings. And he is holding my credit hostage making it impossible for me to secure a place to live and after tomorrow I will be out on the street.bc of national credit systems and the unprofessional behavior by its employees.

Issue: Incorrect information on your report

Subissue: Account information incorrect

Consumer Complaint: I moved I to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX the beginning of XX/XX/XXXX. I vacated the apartment XX/XX/XXXX. I left when I did to prevent any additional charges from being accumulated regarding my lease. I purposely contacted the management office when they requested my next address to clarify billing and made it clear they have no reason to keep in touch following my moving. Rather than showing any semblance of decency I received not only an attempt via email from the apartment complex attempting to collect additional funds from me erroneously, but also an electric bill for charges not incurred by me. They have since escalated this matter by contacting an additional company to collect an amount from me that isn't my responsibility. The company name is National Credit Systems , Inc . I have no outstanding balance with either company nor do I appreciate being contacted by either. The entirety of my lease the management office was made aware of numerous, consistent, and recurring unauthorized entries into my rental space. They had awareness of this and should be investigated as their property and those wandering around, in, and through it are a nuisance to civilians and neighborhoods. Following receipt of a nonrenewal notice and as I was preparing to move the maintenance personnel took it upon themselves to further antagonize and approach me outside. One of the two individuals stated that they were going to take all of my belongings again and made pointed reference to my aerial equipment. I was further stalked at the airport. This behavior then continued across country borders. This is a purposeful and targeted attack. Not only is this not tolerated, but also unacceptable. Furthermore, my personal account was drained by incurring a variety of fraudulent charges over a period of a few days all over the US. These charges were later shown to be posted to the account the day before I vacated the apartment space and the few days following.

Consumer Complaint: To Whom It May Concern : I have reached out to National Credit Systems several times ( XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX ) asking them to provide me with details regarding the amount that they claim I owe them. They have never obliged my requests, nor have they provided me with the proper details needed to ensure the debt belongs to me. At this point, the debt in question has already exceeded the statute of limitations for landlord/tenant agreements for the state of Florida anyway XXXX which is 5 years. According to my credit report, this debt was first reported XX/XX/XXXX, which was 5 years, 9 months ago. I am asking that this be addressed with National Credit Systems and/or be removed, as it is still being unfairly reported to the credit bureaus.

Issue: Improper use of your report

Subissue: Reporting company used your report improperly

Consumer Complaint: Today marks 2 years i have been fighting inaccuracies on my credit report. National Credit Systems has been removed from my credit report BY AN ATTORNEY over 5-6 times LAST year. It is continually being replaced after removal back onto my report. My credit score suffered because of this allegation. During this pandemic, this inaccurate reporting cost me dearly and my family suffered throughout losing everything. I have done a consultation with an attorney. He advised according to Arizona Landlord Tenant Act ( A.R.S. 33-321 ) it was a violation because Normal or 'fair ' wear and tear refers to gradual damage you would expect to see in a property over time. For example, damage to carpets, fixtures, and fittings is extremely difficult, if not impossible, to avoid over a period of months and years. We are talking about a decolorated blind stained by the sun. This means any deterioration in the property that is caused by regular use. The landlord then proceeds to state cleaning fees of {$250.00}. The unit was cleaned thoroughly by myself moving in and moving out which i uploaded the video for her to see and she explained the stove felt greasy and i could NOT see it on the video. According to AZ state law, landlords are expected to clean between tenants but charges a cleaning fee when unwanted items are left behind. I cleaned this unit and took every carpet and tools the maintenance man left behind to the office before moving my furniture in. I cleaned thoroughly before leaving. After my consultation, i was informed that it was a violation of the Landlord Tenant Act and If a credit bureau 's violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act are deemed willful ( knowing or reckless ) by a Court, consumers can recover damages ranging from {$100.00} {$1000.00} for each violation of the FCRA. National Credit Systems has not only violated Arizona State Law but trampled over my rights with the help of the credit bureaus.

After several long phone calls and 2 disputes, I submitted this final letter following letter with a receipt of my last payment to my previous leasing company, and a balance of XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX : " To whom this may concern A mistake was made on behalf of The XXXX XXXX, as I was charged after my lease ended and paid my remaining balance. I no longer authorize nor permit any communication via phone calls. You may only contact me about the alleged debt through mail or email. Also do not contact me via my employer as my employer strictly prohibits communications like this In this letter is the rental ledger from XXXX XXXX in XXXX showing said balance and screenshots from my XXXX XXXX with XXXX XXXX showing I owed no further debt since the XXXX of XX/XX/XXXX. In addition, tell me when the current creditor obtained the debt and who the current creditor obtained it from. Provide verification and documentation that there is a valid basis for claiming that I am required to pay the debt to the current creditor. The amount and age of the debt, including : A copy of the last billing statement sent to me by the original creditor. State the amount of the debt when you obtained it, and when that was. In addition, explain how the added interest, fees, or other charges are expressly authorized by the agreement creating the debt or are permitted by law. If there have been any payments or other reductions since the last billing statement from the original creditor, provide an itemization showing the dates and amount of each of them. If there have been any other changes or adjustments since the last billing statement from the original creditor, please provide full verification and documentation of the amount you are trying to collect. Explain how that amount was calculated. In addition, explain how the other changes or adjustments are expressly authorized by the agreement creating the debt or permitted by law. Tell me when the creditor claims this debt became due and when it became delinquent. Identify the date of the last payment made on this account. Have you made a determination that this debt is within the statute of limitations applicable to it? Tell me when you think the statute of limitations expires for this debt, and how you determined that. Details about your authority to collect this debt. I would like more information about your firm before I discuss the debt with you. Does your firm have a debt collection license from my state? If not, say why not. If so, provide the date of the license, the name on the license, the license number, and the name, address and telephone number of the state agency issuing the license. If you are contacting me from a place outside my state, does your firm have a debt collection license from that place? If so, provide the date of the license, the name on the license, the license number, and the name, address and telephone number of the state agency issuing the license. I am open to communicating with you for this purpose. In order to make sure that I am not put at any disadvantage, in the meantime please treat this debt as being in dispute and under discussion between us ''
