Consumer Complaint: Following up on contents received as a result of CFPB complaint XXXX. This company never obtain permissible purpose in order to furnish any account on my consumer report. In addition to that Charges highlighted in box labeled charges on exhibit A are inconsistent with the same alleged additional charges highlighted on exhibit A and exhibit B. I never received supporting documentation evidencing the dates alleged charges occurred. How can this be accurate when exhibit B list credits which are not listed in exhibit A in the box that details payments and credits. This can not be validated. This company also keep reinserting the fraudulent account information without sending me supporting documentation of any verified results, further damaging my credit score and financial reputation. The open dates dont match. This information is FALSE! This company is to block and remove this fraudulent information from my consumer report and never reinsert it again! This is aggravated identity theft since NCS never obtained permissible purpose to furnish any account related to me.

Consumer Complaint: -there is no information regarding what the liquidated damages are. There are no statements within their lease agreement stating that I would be charged liquidated damages the equivalent of 2 months rent for any reason. -I am being charged a 10 % late fee on a full rent. I need to be charged based on prorated amount ( 12 days ). I did ask them how to pay the prorated amount as they only allowed the full payment of $ XXXX. -I am being charged a month to month fee, even though I gave notice and informed manager via telephone of my vacancy for XX/XX/XXXX ( call log of XXXX minute conversation proof was add in previous email ) -the dates for these move out charges show XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. I contacted crestmont requesting final move our charges on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX failed to give me requested items within the legally required time frame for the state of Georgia. Appropriate contact methods were given to lessor. The lease agreement shows that email is an appropriate contact method. My email has been provided to them at the start of the lease. I asked for proof and explanation of liquidated damages they responded by subtracting XXXX from the liquidated amount. But still did not explain what the charge was for.

Consumer Complaint: I and my sibling were renters in an apartment complex and failed to give our 60 days vacate notice. Our lease agreement states that we " will be responsible for an additional months rent '' ( $ XXXXmonth per lease agreement ) if the vacate notice was not given, yet we were charged an 'Insufficient Notice Fee ' of {$1500.00}, which is over double the {$730.00} monthly rent. While we agreed to jointly bear the responsibility of said debt as our two names were on the lease, we were not in the financial place then to pay the amount the apartment company was asking. We mutually agreed to let the bill go to collections and we would revisit it at a later date when our finances would allow. During this time the collection agency, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, sent the bill to the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX # XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX. I contacted said Law Office twice on XX/XX/, once shortly before XXXX XXXX and then again around XXXX. I was transferred to the same employee each time. During both calls, I explained that I wanted to pay my half of the total debt ( {$900.00} ) while I was on the phone and to have it taken off of my credit report. The employee stated on each call that " we don't get into personal matters '', " it's not possible to split the debt up '', and " there is no such thing as half of the debt. '' I was then told that I could pay 50 % of the total ( {$900.00} ) and the collection would be marked closed, on mine and my siblings credit reports, or I could pay 80 % ( {$1400.00} ) of the debt and it would be closed and removed, again from both mine and my siblings credit reports. I tried to explain that that was not fair as I would be paying at least half of the debt and the other debtor, my sibling, would not be paying anything yet would still be reaping the benefits of having the collection come off of his report. I was told " and it would work the same way if the other party was calling to pay the debt. '' I asked the employee to acknowledge the fact that " no matter who was paying the debt, it would be unfair as the other party is not paying anything and still reaping benefits. '' The employee then said " we went into a business to make money, not to be fair. '' I admit, at this point I lost my patience and asked " Then you do realize what a [ expletive ] business you work for? '' The employee began to mock saying that I can " call back when you have the {$1400.00}! '' I replied " I'll pay the {$900.00} right now. I have my debit card in my pocket, I'll pay the {$900.00} and you can just close the account. '' but the employee repeated themselves, laughed quietly, and then ended the call. As there are only two people on this debt, I feel it is an attempt to collect money that I do not owe if I want this taken off of my credit report. I should not be made to pay 80 % of a debt to close it and have it off of my credit report if there are two parties responsible for the debt.

Consumer Complaint: Rented a home from XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, in XXXX KS. Sent them 30 day notice in XXXX, stating that i was moving out of the property due to mold and other property issues that the management failed to address ( the home had flooded at least 3 times, causing water damage to the carpets, ceilings, etc. ). In XXXX of that same year, XXXX, XXXX, had sent me a letter asking me to either turn in the keys or an eviction would be filed. No eviction had ever been filed as I returned the keys. A move out inspection was performed w/o my being present, despite my asking to be. I did ask for pictures, but no response was ever given. A year later, I received a notice on my credit report from a collection agency, not National Credit Systems, that I owed {$5800.00}. When I inquired about it, i was sent an itemized statement, listing damages that were mostly due to flooding that had happened in the home. In addition, they had charged me for rent after I had left, despite having kept my deposit and owing me money for " concessions '' due various issues i had faced while living in the home. When I called XXXX XXXX XXXX, the original creditor, to inquire about these charges, they could not find my file. I then contacted that collection agency and demanded they cease collections as the debt could not be validated. Now the debt is being handle by National Credit Systems I have asked them to validate the debt. Instead, they have the debt listed in my credit file as a " medical debt '' when, in fact, it is NOT a medical debt. As the original creditor has no record of this debt on file and is unable to verify/validate this debt, National Credit Systems has no legal standing to collect on this debt.
