Consumer Complaint: I moved out of this apartment complex in XXXX XXXX. The reason was due to the lasting effects of XXXX fires in the apartment above me. The first fire was above my kitchen area, and the second happened above the back bedroom. The events were caused by XXXX different tenants. Due to the water damage, I lost everything and was never compensated by the XXXX apartments, nor by the tenants that caused the fire. The unit I resided in became infested with roaches, and I had to get rid of all our belongings. The super, XXXX XXXX, said to me too bad you do n't have renter 's insurance. Then, I was relocated to another apartment while the repairs were done in my unit. This caused another issue ; the apartment complex wanted to charge me for the electric bill on the loaner apartment, as well as the bill in my unit. Therefore, I could not afford to pay the rent and XXXX utility bills, so the complex evicted me. XXXX apartment complex hired National credit systems to handle the collection process. This creditor has been reporting to all XXXX credit bureaus for over 7 years. I tried to resolve this issue XXXX and the following statements were communicated via XXXX processing. Consumer Complaint: I have filed a previous complaint about this company.. I have made several attempts to get more information as to if they are a valid company to continue to take payments from me. This company called me out of the blue after I was taken to court by my apartments called XXXX XXXX in XXXX Texas. The apartments went to court in XX/XX/XXXX with informing me of the court date. They settled on an agreement and I was n't present. since this settlement I have paid a company called National XXXX System almost XXXX without even seeing the agreement that was made between them and my departments. I have requested several times for them to show proof that they are a legitimate company including XXXX lettters in the mail. I have asked for the documents that were sent to the company by my apartments on XX/XX/XXXX and I have still not recd anything. I need this company to refund me all my money back unless they can prove to me that they are legally able to take this money from me. I need this company to be notified so that they take this debt off of me or they will be sued. Attached with this complaint is the letter I recvd for the balance I owed for my apartment which was XXXX. I paid off about XXXX dollars of that and with the XXXX I have paid these apartments, that balance should have been paifd off a long time ago. I am being scammed and I refused to pay them any more money until I get this remaining balance removed from my acct.

Consumer Complaint: The debt collection company name National Credit Systems has failed to provide any proof that i lawfully owe the debt in question nor any letters in writting stating who they represent. I have requested in writting as well as verbally and through the XXXX for such information. On each time that i have spoken to this company on their recorded calls i have stated i am willing to pay a debt i owe once i receive written documentation. Every time i have called they have said on multiple circumstances that they have already sent the requested documentation wereas since XXXX i still have not received this documentation. In the most recent response through the XXXX they stated " they were in the process of obtaining the verification and mailing it to consuner ''. Im quite baffled how after multiple statements on their recorded calls they stated they have already mailed out such coorespondence but now after taking matters further have to locate such verification. I have reached out to the origional creditor as well during this process to obtain any information regaurding account wereas it was told to me that they were bought out by a new management company and no longer have prior records. I have been attempting to resolve this debt but I as a consumer do not feel sending money to an unidentified company to a XXXX XXXX in another state without supporting documentation is unlawful under any circumstances.

Consumer Complaint: I have XXXX complaints : faulty billing practices and abusive practices experienced by employees of National Credit Systems. My account was forwarded to NCS in XXXX XXXX I assume ) after moving from XXXX at XXXX XXXX and having a balance due of {$210.00}. I did not receive the bill at my new address until well after the deadline to pay before being forwarded to a collection agency. I received the NCS 's contact information from XXXX at XXXX and called NCS XXXX to attempt to resolve. I have had XXXX interactions with NCS all have been a disaster. Represenatives are extremely rude, talking over me, and hostile - the manager hung up on me ( his name was XXXX XXXX XXXX although I was simply trying to report my interactions with XXXX earlier representatives and provide proof of payment. The second complaint involves their billing practices. I authorized an electronic check on XXXX/XXXX/2015, the funds were deducted by NCS on XXXX/XXXX/2015 yet I have not been given credit for the payment, I continue to receive collection calls, and have reengaged XXXX at XXXX XXXX, because I can get nowhere with these people. Last, they leave detailed threatening messages on my cell phone and voicemail such as " this is an attempt to collect a debt ... we may engage law enforcement ... ''. This is inappropriate and I doubt legal. The point of this complaint is to get assistance with getting credit for a payment made and to report their abuse practices.

Consumer Complaint: Apartment complex. Active duty military lost pay XXXX. My wife and I had to find a home for our family that best fit our financial needs. We were, and still in a financial hardship. We gave them a thirty day notice, with completing paperwork they requested. We advised to them the situation with other issues with the complex, that were not being addressed. When we left the property we returned the keys. We had been given an estimate of what we would have to pay back because we were terminating our lease. It was n't even close to the amount of what is on me and my wife 's credit report. We were blind sided and never contacted except from a credit bureau with an amount not explained, just a number that we owed.

Consumer Complaint: National credit systems never informed me of my right to dispute my debt. I found out I had a collection against me by recently pulling my credit. Our initial contact was XX/XX/2015. I have 30 days to dispute after our initial contact. I sent them certified mail which was signed by XXXX XXXX stating I need validation that they are liscensed to collect a debt in alabama, proof that they own the debt and the debt is mine .They then sent me a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX that only stated I owe XXXX sent by XXXX XXXX. The letter did not break down what I was being charged for nor did they include the original creditors address not did they proof they own the debt. I called them thursday XX/XX/XXXX and spoke with XXXX XXXX to let them know this is not proper form of validation. They then sent me another letter stating I now owe them {$2200.00}. This is false representation of a debt which violates the FDCPA. Attached with the letter was a copy of a lease. On the first page of the lease was a move in/ move out check out list THAT DID NOT HAVE MY SIGNATURE, it was signed by another person. I am being charge for damages to a property when my signature was not even on the move in or check out list.There were XXXX signatures on the last page of the lease that does not look like my signature. I never agreed to these charges. This is not my debt and they are breaking the law by falsely representing a debt as well as deformation of character.
