Consumer Complaint: I have sent this collection company several letters to validate this debt and they still have done so and it is making it very hard for me to get any credit lines opened. It is even making me to where I can not find any housing to live in because of this collection agency. I need them to validate this debt because even the original creditor has informed me that they can not validate this debt so how can this collection agency even validate this debt.

Consumer Complaint: A rental property manager and collection company for a landlord made collection attempts. A debt verification demand was sent and the collection company listed repairs done on property. A specific demand for receipts and invoices were repeatedly demanded and the collection company has failed to respond. Consumer Complaint: I co-signed a one year apartment lease for my son for an apartment in XXXX XXXX, OK. The lease was from XXXX XXXX to XXXX XXXX. He renewed and signed a new lease that was not co-signed by me. He changed his mind about the renewal but was told it was too late. This resulted in him still moving out at the end of his XXXX lease which caused him to break the new lease. He is being charged {$860.00} for breaking the lease, clean up, etc. The account was turned over to collections and also named me as a responsible party. I spoke to the collection agency informing them that I did not sign a new lease and I was not responsible. They have continued to pursue collection activity and most recently reported this on my credit reports. I have contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX law firm who reviewed the documentation and sent the collection agency a letter on my behalf. The collection agency continues to insist that I owe the debt, which I do not and they have not produced a copy of a renewal lease signed by me.

Consumer Complaint: I started receiving collection notices from a collection agency that were connected to an apartment building that I had never heard of prior. I contacted them and they asked about my relationship to some person I had never heard of. They asked for the last XXXX digits of my social security number and then told me that the numbers did not match what they had on file. I explained that we owned our home and that we had never rented from this agency and I asked them to stop contacting me. I checked my credit report and found that they had reported the bad debt to the credit bureau so I then filed a report with the credit bureau stating that I was being targeted for a debt that was not mine. The credit bureau investigated the claim and reported back to me that they found my complaint to be valid and they removed the debt from my credit report. When my husband and I started the process of obtaining a mortgage loan to purchase another property, I found out that the collection agency was still reporting the debt to XXXX other credit bureaus. I then contacted them again, stating that we had already cleared this up once but they refused to remove it without " the proper paperwork '' which they promised to mail to me, again, stating that the information they had on file did not match my information. The paperwork they mailed to me was a form to report identity theft, which had not occurred. Nothing on the form was relevant and the only people identifying me as the debtor was this agency. I then contacted the XXXX additional credit reporting agencies and had them investigate the report. Both of them responded the same as the first. They told me that it would be removed from my credit report. That was 6 months ago. I thought that the problem was resolved but today I received another letter stating they are still attempting to collect this debt. I have checked my credit report and find no reports of collections from this company but I feel it is only a matter of time before they report it again.

Consumer Complaint: Someone used my personal information and identity to obtain services. I did not create this debt. I am a victim of identity theft. I have reported this to the police and have tried several times to have the collection agency to correct their records. They continuously ignore my dispute and verified this fraudulent account with the credit bureaus. I have sent them certified letters, ID theft police reports and disputes to the collection agency and credit bureaus. They continue to report this fraudulent account and violate my FDCPA, FCRA and Rosenthal Act. This has given me great distress and the fraudulent reporting is damaging my good credit. I contacted the collection agency via mail and have not received any response National credit systems is well aware that this account is fraudulent and still verifying it with the credit bureaus.

Consumer Complaint: I have submitted police reports and fraud affidavit to National Credit Systems on XXXX XXXX, XXXX the first time and 3 more times since then ; last time on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I have called their office on numerous occasions inquiring about follow up on the fraudulent account opened in my name. I received various information from different employees of National Credit Systems depending on who was available to answer my call. I was told that my correspondence was forwarded to their client several times and they have not received any communication back, I was told to call back on XXXX XXXX, XXXX to get resolution to this account. When I called today, I was transferred to XXXX XXXX. He informed me that this was the first time he has seen my account, he can see my account noted that there was correspondence received from me ; however, it was not reviewed because the company handles thousands of accounts and can not give individual attention to each account. XXXX also told me that since National Credit Systems have not heard from me via telephone ( which is a blatant lie ), they have not proceeded with any inquiries into my correspondence or the fraudulent account in my name. XXXX could not provide me with any documentation proving validity of this debt except my social security number obtained from my stolen social security card, my date of birth obtained from my stolen driver 's license, and an address which I am assuming is XXXX of the fraudulent addresses reported on my credit report. Upon my further inquiry, he told me I was rude and hung up on me. If my correspondence had been forwarded to their client and the client could actually prove validity of the debt, I am sure I would have received some sort of communication back. National Credit Systems and their representative, XXXX XXXX, are violating my consumer rights by mishandling my credit dispute and false credit reporting. I have contacted XXXX who deleted this account from my report for National Credit Systems not being able to verify this account. XXXX is the only CRA still reporting this account and appropriate complaint has been filed for XXXX. My messages to National Credit Systems legal department XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX have gone unanswered. In 2 1/2 months XXXX National Credit Systems had more than ample time and notice to communicate with their client and resolve this fraudulent account. They need to contact XXXX to delete it from my report immediately.

Consumer Complaint: I was contacted by National Credit Systems about a debt that was owed from an apartment I lived at close to a year ago. They stated there were damages that would need to be paid for. I agreed to pay for part of the damages, but they mentioned the microwave was broken, which would not have involved me since I never used to the microwave out of my time of over a year of living at the apartment. I filed a dispute with them and followed up later. They stated that the apartment has not responded and would have two weeks to respond to the dispute or they would drop the microwave case and I would just owe the rest of the debt. I called two weeks later and the woman handling my case stated that since I never submitted proof that I was not the cause of that particular damage I would still have to pay. When I brought up that I had been told previously that the debt would be dropped in two weeks if they did not hear from the apartment they said that was not the case and there is no time limit for the apartment complex to respond to a dispute. This makes no sense as then every dispute ever made could be won by not responding. When I asked her directly about what she had told me the week before she did not answer and transferred me to her supervisor. The supervisor would interrupt me mid question and not let me get a word in. I was not able to ask any of the questions I had for him regarding my case as he would just interrupt me. I also wanted to ask him if I would be able to get an extension on my time to prove that I did not break the microwave since I was not looking for any previous evidence because I was told that I did not need to as the case would be dropped if the apartment did not respond. The woman handling my cases ' name was either Heal or Heel and her supervisor was XXXX XXXX. Eventually XXXX became angry and hung up the phone on me. I recorded the most recent phone call if the evidence is required of me. It was disappointing to not get any answers to my questions and to be talked down to and responded to so aggressively.
