Consumer Complaint: I spoke with National Credit Systems on XXXX XXXX , XXXX a t XXXX XXXX ( MST ) regarding a removal of an account that has been paid in full several years ago. The account representative that I spoke with on a recorded line agreed to electronically send the removal to all XXXX CRAs on XXXX XXXX , XXXX . On XXXX XXXX , XXXX I called all XXXX CRAs and none of them had received an electronic communication. On XXXX XXXX , XXXX at XXXX ( MST ) I called National Credit Systems a gain and spoke with my account representative 's supervisor. Again, on a recorded line, they agreed to send an electronic communication to all XXXX CRAs to remove the account from my report. On XXXX XXXX , XXXX at XXXX ( MST ), I called XXXX and was able to have the agent call National Credit Systems and get a verbal confirmation of removal from them. This has since been removed from my XXXX report but not XXXX or XXXX I would National Credit S ystems to either respond to the disputes that I have placed with the XXXX CRAs or to actually do what they have promised and send the removals over.

Consumer Complaint: Hello I filed a complaint in XXXX to have National Credit systems to remove a collections they have on my credit report. They agreed to remove the account however they said they removed the account but it is still showing on my credit reports I called the credit bureaus and they have n't received any information from National credit systems to remove this account on my report. I called national credit systems back and they 're not being any help. XXXX and XXXX f ax said that once they receive the update to remove the account electronically it is removed instantly. I 've been calling them to have them remove this account since XXXX and I 'm getting the run around.

Third party answered the phone, NCS asked for me, third party asked what the call was in reference to, and NCS stated the reason for the call was an attempt to collect a debt on behalf of [ landlord 's name ]. The third party asked for the company name again to tell me so I could report it and the girl from NCS scr ambled after hearing the plan to report it and said " well I thought you were saying that you were [ my name ] '' and ended up hanging up in a panic

We then found out that they were trying to charge us with the amount of XXXX dollars for a dirty stove and a few stains on the carpet, yet the apartment we received already obtained old appliances and an old carpet. This charge was sent to collections without any notice a dispute was then claimed upon us in our credit report, we are stating that we do not dispute this account.

Consumer Complaint: I have sent repeated disputes and request to verify information. They fail to do so. I sent another request on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX and have yet to hear anything This is a predatory collection agency who updates my credit report monthly with derogatory information. I never entered into any contract or agreement with this business. I never received any notification of any form of this alleged debt before it was attached to my credit reports. This has caused me severe financial hardship and has made it extremely difficult for me to obtain credit. There are several complaints of this company online with similar situations. I truly believe they have violated the FDCPA numerous times.

Consumer Complaint: I had a balance with an apartment complex which was forwarded to National Credit Systems. National Credit Systems offered me a settlement on the amount. They told me that if I were to take the settlement and pay in full they would consider the debt paid and remove themselves from my credit report. I agreed to the settlement amount and promptly made payment . National Credit Systems then was prompt in reporting the debt as paid. However they continue to report on the account. Consequently, the account remained on my credit report, causing me extreme difficulties in finding a place to live. Because, even though the account shows as paid, the fact that it is there at all is a major negative mark. I knew this when going into the deal, and made sure to ask the person I dealt with whether it would truly be removed or not.

She assured me it would.

I asked for this in writing, and they refused to give anything in writing. I could take the settlement then and there, or they would step up activities, which at that point had included harassing my parents, and my friends.

So I took the settlement.had I known it would not be removed, i never would have settled, because there would have been little point in doing so.

Now, they have their money, and I am in the same position as I was before I paid them. I 've gained nothing, and I can not find an apartment that will approve me in XXXX , which is a competitive city to find housing in.

I am livid with the betrayal of this organization. I paid them in good faith, and they stabbed me in the back. I desperately need this to be resolved. I have attempted talking to them, disputing the account, all to avail. The credit bureaus will not help me. I have a perfect rental history except for this, and I was lied to and deceived, tempted by this representative to take an easy way out, and now, because of that ... i 'm screwed.

Please, I 'm begging you, i need to have this resolved so I can continue with my life. As of now, I 'm just treading water.

Consumer Complaint: National cr edit Systems XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX , ga XXXX on X/X/2017 was given a call in reference to work out payment arrangements on behalf of my niece. I recorded and informed the representative I was speaking to by the name of XXXX XXXX who was the only representative that I was ever able to speak to. While speaking to XXXX I a sked him for our options outside the balance in full and let him know I made a {$5.00} payment on the account via debit card on X/X/17 . XXXX then asked me what was I expecting to attempt making that payment. I informed XXXX the payment was made because he had threatened to attempt to garnish her wages. XXXX then said their calls are recorded and I said so i s this one t hen XXXX said he has to terminate the call. I attempted to call the company back multiple times but kept getting forwarded to voicemail. The representative also threatened the consumer with not be able to get student loans because of this which is totally false. I work for th e XXXX XXXX XXXX . So I left a voicemail on the representatives machine letting him know I will be filing a complaint with the Attorney general and that since they will not accept payment nor arrangemen ts we will consider this debt as paid for. Then I moved forward from there to file the complaint. I believe was this agency is trying to do is agains t the Unfair Deceptive Acts Abuses and Practices act also. Plee let me know what to do forward. I do still have the recording.
