Consumer Complaint: I filed a dispute with XXXX about National credit systems a 3rd party collection agency for landlords and it has turned into months and they still have not resolved the issue. I believe this is because it is a conflict of interest because XXXX connect does background checks for landlords. On the other hand I gave the same information to XXXX and they were right on it and removed it from my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/19-received a letter from National Credit systems , Inc. XXXX , GA in regards to a debt owed. The original creditor was XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, MD. I explained to them I had a pending law against the XXXX 's. I submit court documents dated XX/XX/2019, in regards to case number XXXX, Court date XXXX in Court Room # 3, in the District Court of Maryland XXXX County , XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX , MD. I won a judgment against the XXXX 's in the amount of {$2400.00}. I received emails from all 3 credit bureaus stating a collection again was entered on my credit report by the above credit systems. They were suppose to wait until the final court decision was decided. I was given instructions by the original debtor that I could have 6 months to pay the final {$1200.00}. This collection was entered before the final decision was determined by the court.

Consumer Complaint: Prior to moving out of my old rental on XXXX with written notice I was going back and forth with my property manager ( XXXX XXXX ) and my HOA ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) because when I moved in I paid my first months rent, my last months rent, and a security deposit and apparently the HOA held on to my last months rent and switched managers and could not find my last months rent. ( I moved into the property on XX/XX/XXXX and always paid my rent on time and maintained my home and had no issues with my HOA. ) I went back and forth between the property manager and the HOA about what was going on with my last months rent. The property management seemed understanding and knew what was the issue because we had been in communication with myself and the HOA on a regular basis up until my move out date got closer. They called me and we set up a walk through for XXXX and I was told that it was normal wear and tear and they even sent me an email saying they were going to use my security deposit for my last months rent until the HOA figured things out which I agreed too. THEN ... i got an email saying they were not going to use my security deposit back because I left a bulk pick up on the side of the road that I had arranged with the city to pick up and the property manager and HOA were aware as I gave them the confirmation # and called regularly asking the city for a status, which the city confirmed they indeed picked up. They must have been getting heat because the owners probably wanted their last months rent which I agree with however I had already made the payment and it reflected on my lease and my account statement. Then they told me if I did not pay my last months rent they were going to send me to collections. The HOA still has no clue where my money is. So now I get a letter in the mail from National Credit Systems saying they are going to send me to collections for XXXX on behalf of XXXX XXXX unless I contact them for a solution. I contacted them and explained everything to them and that I am the one owed money because not only are they trying to make me pay my last months rent again but they are holding my security deposit from me in retaliation. I requested them to send me an accounting ledger in which they said they could only mail it to me, which they never did! Yesterday I got a notification that they submitted XXXX in debt to all 3 creditors. Not to mention but I have my calls recorded so they can not deny the conversation. They did not work with me in resolving this issue and I was unfairly reported to creditors out of pure retaliation. I'm a fair person, single mother, I have 2 kids that I take care of that are not mine from the State of Florida, I'm a full time employee and student and it is not right that people think they can do these things to people. The only time I did not pay debt in my past is when I left an abusive relationship and my life and my children meant more than my bills. I have moved on beyond that and the property manager XXXX XXXX and National Credit Systems are 100 % wrong. At the end of all this I am the one that is owed money and they are trying to put $ 13,000+ on my credit which does not even come close to anything I could possibly owe them even if I had not paid my last months rent.

Consumer Complaint: National Credit Systems sent me a letter in the mail stating that I allegedly owed a debt. I sent them an immediate response saying that the debt was not mine, and asked them to validate as well as prove that they are legally licensed to collect debt in Florida. It has been 2 months now and I have not received a reply, and noticed that they placed the account as in collections on my credit report, without validating the debt. This is illegal and will also be reported to the Florida Attorney General as well as the Consumer Financial Protection Board.

Consumer Complaint: I have been contacted several times by National Credit Systems about debt to XXXX XXXX apartments for a debt I do not owe. I have been threatened several times via phone and have one recording of such. The threats include damage to my credit and making sure I would never get " another '' lease again, although I wouldn't need to ever have to worry about that. profanity used several times. I sent them 2 letters to no longer contact me cease and desist. They still call and harass. I obtain legal representation to have this matter cleared up and have provided them with my attorney 's information. If this continues and this account is not removed from my credit record I will pursue legal action against all parties involved including a XXXX XXXX XXXX who now has the account. I am sick of the harassment and do not owe this debt. I have provided an affidavit that was notarized and filed complaints with the FTC, your agency, the Georgia State Bar, and Attorney General 's office. I do not owe this debt in any way shape or form. I have retained an attorney and will pursue this as long as I need too.

Consumer Complaint: Very simple National credit system refused to validate the accounts and debt they claim I owe them or a creditor. This is what I sent them ... ... XXXX XXXX ADDRESS XXXX XXXX CITY, STATE ZIP XXXX, MI XXXX National Credit Systems XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, GA XXXX Re : account debt {$2200.00} and {$3500.00} To whom this may concern, Ive received a copy of my credit report and you are claiming I have an account with you or I owe you something. I have never entered into any business arrangement and I have never signed any contract to conduct any kind of business with you. You have yet to produce a certified seal copy of the WET INK promissory note, the law states that before you collect any information, about me, you have to get my authorization to access my credit report for any reason. You didnt do that first, and theres no way I would ever give a slimy collection company permission to slander me on my credit reports. Heres the law in case you never read it before. ( o ) Excluded communications. A communication is described in this subsection if it is a communication ( 5 ) with respect to which ( A ) the consumer who is the subject of the communication ( i ) consents orally or in writing to the nature and scope of the communication, before the collection of any information for the purpose of making the communication ; ( iii ) in the case of consent under clause ( i ) or ( ii ) given orally, is provided written confirmation of that consent by the person making the communication, not later than 3 business days after the receipt of the consent by that person ; Now, I am also exercising my right under the FDCPA to dispute the alleged account and demand validation from you. Ill break it down very easy for you. But know this, should you fail to provide every single thing I request form you, and dont worry, the list will be short, sweet and to the point, you will be required to cease all collection activity immediately. Notify me in writing that you indeed are ceasing and deleting all information you have furnished to any and every one of my credit reports from every single credit repository to which youve submitted this unverified and un-validated information. This is request of PROOF OF CONTRACT to substantiate your claim. Therefore, youll need to provide me with a CERTIFIED copy of an authenticated original contract with my signature, Specially Naming National Credit Systems as an entity entitled to enforce a commercial claim You do not conduct commerce ) against me. *Certified shall be done through the presence of a notary public, who authenticates and duly swears the copy made is in fact a copy of the original paper contract in question ( meaning the original contract from the original creditor would need be provide to the notary, and the notary would need to make the copy themselves ). You will also need to provide the following : Provide a CERTIFIED copy of Authorization signed by me, naming your company as having my consent to furnish, update, verify, inquiries, add comments and/or dispute codes of any access to my personal credit report/file. Provide a Certified copy of my full chain of assignment starting with the original creditor to any and every 3rd party collection company to present. Provide a full accounting. Every charge, every payment, every fee, interest, credit, and any other amount attributed to the alleged account, and the date on which each event occurred, as well as a description of each event or purchase causing an amount to allegedly be owed. Your failure to respond and provide strict proof of contracts and all the items noted above, presented to me in certified format, sworn under Penalty and Perjury and Authenticated by a notary, will constitute your tactic agreement that you are not entitled to enforce a claim against me. Consumer Complaint: Hello I contacted the collections company National Credit systems XX/XX/XXXX about a collections account created in XXXX, I was told they have documents dated XXXX showing a leasing agreement was and broken with XXXX XXXX XXXX previously owned by XXXX XXXX in XXXX of XXXX which caused the account to go into collections for {$2600.00}. I explained the lease was not renewed past XXXX of XXXX and the collections company said they need to dispute the account with XXXX XXXX because the file states otherwise. On the same day I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX multiple times via phone and email from XX/XX/XXXX up until XX/XX/XXXX and finally got a hold of her and she advised after speaking with the attorney there that they have no documents of a lease being resigned past XXXX to support the claims that where was sent to collections in XXXX. They are using a clause from the XXXX lease that states lease agreement would continue on a month to month basis until cancelled. I explained to XXXX the standard procedures for renewing any apartment lease which is within 60 days of a lease expiring both a yearly renewal and a month to month lease would still need to be singed off for by the tenants and documented with the leasing office. In conclusion, they still deny and false claims on their end and the lease was on a month to month contract from XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX. Furthermore, I requested they provided dated and detailed information and documents for the reason why they are requesting {$2600.00} I'm still waiting on this information On XX/XX/XXXX I spoke with the collections company to share with them the information since they are working on gathering this as well. I was advised they requested the information on XX/XX/XXXX and have not gotten a response from them and need to wait on them to respond to resolve this matter. P.S I also would like to point out they allowed someone else to sign as me on this leasing agreement. If you view the signatures they are identical. ( Attached )

Consumer Complaint: Received a call from a Mrs. XXXX who stated I owed a certain amount for a recent dispute with a former landlord. She said she was collecting a debt, I asked for a fax number as I wanted to validate the amount of the debt as it sounded inflated. She stated NCS doesn't have a fax number, so I asked for a mailing address which she provided me a P O Box. I asked for a mailing address to overnight the dispute but she failed to provide me the proper information so as I may dispute the amount in question. Further, her tactics on the phone were bullying and stalling and placing me on hold without my consent. I am complaining about the tactics being utilized of putting me on hold without asking, taking extended hold times, not providing me the proper information to accurately and confidently request a validation of the debt, not providing me the proper channels to request the validation and to feel comfortable that the information would be provided is accurate. I am not certain if the phone call was recorded or not but it was never explained to me that it was, which I would always forbid and would not take a call that was recorded. I told Mrs. XXXX since there was no fax or mailing address that I would request verbally to have the calls stop but she just stopped talking and put me on hold. I later explained to her that this was something in dispute because the company didn't preform any maintenance that was satisfactorily completed, for the entire time I lived in the apartment, even though I have arthritic knees and needed to have the dishwasher working, it didn't work for over 2 years. She had no interest in helping me validate this debt but just wanted to give me a P.O.Box and no other information when it comes to being able to adequately validate this debt. I would encourage the CFPB to call this company and take a sample of how their operators act and talk on the phone and you will immediately see the bullying tactics being used to try and collect debts that are not being properly validated when in dispute. Further, during the call, no information was provided to me to help me navigate the debt in question, no account numbers, tracking numbers, etc. I have no idea what these people are talking about other than it was XXXX XXXX.
