Consumer Complaint: National Credit Systems ( XXXX, GA ) is attempting to collect a debt owned to XXXX XXXX ( XXXX, MI ) for XX/XX/XXXX. I discovered this collection on XX/XX/XXXX on a periodical review of my credit reports. I contacted National Credit Systems and was informed this collection was a result of failed payments on a lease signed XX/XX/XXXX. After reviewing these documents I discovered this signed lease extension was done fraudulently with my forged digital signature. I was a resident of XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX was added to the lease with the intention of becoming primary lease holder. My information was to be dropped from the lease. The last communication I received from XXXX XXXX was on XX/XX/XXXX. No attempt was made to contact me via phone or email to extend the lease. I have filed a police report with the XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX, MI ). I also signed an affidavit with the Federal Trade Commission regarding the identity theft. XXXX XXXX claims that they have no record of the collection, as they changed parent companies. Their former parent company XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX, GA ) is unreachable to discuss this collection. National Credit Systems has not been helpful at all in this process and have been using scare tactics to get me to pay this debt, which is a result of identity theft. Attached is the police report and FTC affidavit.

Consumer Complaint: National Credit Systems is a debt collection agency that has been given ( according to FCRA ) more than 30 days to do an investigation for proof that legally ties me to the debt they are reporting on my credit report. I have sent certified letters to this company for proof and they havent sent anything with my signature or an original contract. I have also sent what this company has sent me to the credit bureaus as well as a statement to remove immediately. The credit bureaus have not removed even with the proof and says that according to the FCRA, they have to give the collection agency another 30 days to investigate. That is not how the FCRA operates. I need this collection agency, National Credit Systems, removed permanently from my credit report bc they can not and will not show proof of debt. Below I have uploaded the debt validation letter I sent to the collection agency as well as what the collection agency sent me back after their 30 days. Also, I have uploaded the letter I sent to the credit bureaus and all the other documents were sent to them as well.

Consumer Complaint: They are trying to collect a debt from an old apartment. They are saying that the account was opened in XXXX, but I ended my lease in XXXX. The balance is supposedly XXXX but that is not possible. My monthly rent was only XXXX and the complex files for eviction after 30 days late. Lawyer fees for that complex is XXXX so there is no way possible that I owed that amount. Additionally the lease should have been terminated with no money owed because I ended the lease due to military orders. I have sent numerous letters to this agency asking for verification of the account to see how they are reporting this inaccurate information and they will not respond to me.

Consumer Complaint: I applied for a credit card and found out that there is a trade line on my credit report for NATIONAL CREDIT SYSTEM ( Original Creditor : XXXX XXXX XXXX. This is not my account. I have never had an apartment with XXXX XXXX. I reached out to the creditor and the collection company. I found out that not only do they have incorrect information, they also have the wrong SSN # on the signed contract. I have sent them over a copy of my correct SSN, a copy of the police report, a copy of my lease of the place I was living at the time of this crime, a copy of my ID and multiple letters advising them that this is not my account and I am a victim of ID theft.

Consumer Complaint: My mother, XXXX XXXX, who was on the lease, as well entered into a payment arrangement with representative XXXX XXXX of National Credit Systems. According to XXXX XXXX, I had an outstanding balance of {$1500.00} from The XXXX at XXXX. This was surprising because my mother was currently in the process with XXXX ( from XXXX ) of getting a balance adjustment. According to Mr. XXXX, although I was working things out, that I needed to take care of the bill before he sends it to the 3 credit bureaus. According to my mother, she asked him what can she do to prevent from hurting my credit. Mr. XXXX ensured her that if she makes a payment and continues to be current with the payment arrangements that they would prevent any derogatory reporting to any credit bureaus, PLEASE ASK TO LISTEN TO THE CALL RECORDINGS. ( It should be noted they record every call ) Even though she has NEVER missed a payment and/or never later ( they drafts my account every 2nd of the month ) XXXX XXXX XXXX blatantly violated the agreement by reporting as a late payment, the wrong amount, and being sent to an attorney ( WHICH ARE ALL FALSE ). Please note that following the XX/XX/XXXX, payment on XX/XX/XXXX, they reported me late before XX/XX/XXXX payment was due. She inquired with Mr. XXXX and he acknowledged that she was not in violation but he continued to try to collect {$470.00} and would remove the account from my credit report. She contacted Mr . XXXX 's manager, XXXX XXXX. According to Mr. XXXX, the verified that my account was NEVER late and missed any payments and there was a computer malfunction and that he would immediately DELETE the collections for All credit bureaus. According to Mr. XXXX, he submitted the initial deletion letter on XX/XX/XXXX. It now XX/XX/XXXX and this company continue to update this account with inaccurate and completely false information. After several attempts to have my account corrected, they removed the account from XXXX XXXX 's but continue to report me as " late Payment ''. Which is totally inaccurate. No payments have ever been missed and/or late!!! Several attempts to contact NCS now no longer responds.
