Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed
Subissue: Debt was result of identity theft
Consumer Complaint: In XXXX NATIONAL CREDIT SYSTEMS INC. called and harassed me stating that I owed a debt, violating my consumer rights. I have never entered a consumer transaction with NATIONAL CREDIT SYSTEMS INC., and I have no idea how they have acquired my credit card ( ssc ), therefore has committed identity theft, by law. I have disputed this account over XXXX dozen times with all credit bureaus, once the validation of debt with my wet ink signature was requested. The bureaus noticed they had no substantial validation of proof. NATIONAL CREDIT SYSTEMS INC. sent a contract that did not have their information on it and also the contract did not have my signature anywhere on the document. This is what they have been damaging my credit reputation with, a unsigned document from a company that I have never given my credit card, nor permission to furnish my credit report. All bureaus except for XXXX has removed this fraudulent account. When I reached out to the company for remedy they would put me on hold and Hang up whenever I asked them about phishing for my information, or my information being sold to them.
