Consumer Complaint: I did two modifications one in XXXX with XXXX XXXX and another with M & T bank in XXXX. M & T bank claims that they made me aware of a second lien on my property over the phone. I alleging that that conversation never took place, moreover I'm under the assumption that no oral agreements exist. M & T Bank sent me the XXXX modification documentation with XXXX XXXX which shows a second lien that I did sign for, However the XXXX modification failed to inform me of a second lien ; I was lead to believe the modification I signed in XXXX with M & T Bank was for my total loan amount of {$100000.00}. I'm charging M & T Bank with failing to disclose full details of my loan and making me believe I only owed the amount I signed for in the XXXX modification with M & T Bank. I don't understand why the XXXX modification with XXXX XXXX has any effect on a different and separate modification with a different entity being M & T Bank in XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, I was applying for a HELOC with M & T Bank. I repeatedly asked for details of the loan and was not told of the interest rate or even given a copy of the loan documents until the notary came to my house with a copy. I was supposed to read over 100 pages at signing? Complete scam. Loan originator stated there are couple hundred dollars in fees and all of as sudden there was over XXXX in closing costs. I ended up not signing the documents. I gave them all my financial information, they came to my house and did an appraisal which i requested a copy and they did not provide. I repeatedly asked for the loan documents through out the process so i can review them and they said i was not able to obtain a copy, yet the notary had one? I asked for a copy of the appraisal and made a request and was never given that either. They even made me change my insurance to cover them.

Consumer Complaint: On or about XX/XX/XXXX, or XXXX, I called M & T Bank ( XXXX ) XXXX to the consumer management payment dept to ask if I could get a lower payment for my account ending in XXXX.I was told on that day, I should have not started back making payments. The XXXX $ that I am paying is only XXXX or XXXX dollars toward the balance of {$2500.00} because of the interest rate. I had no Idea this was going on when I would call to make payments, they never told me the balance only the payment amount. The young lady XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, stated she spoke to her supervisor and her supervisor stated it is a closed account, nothing could be done. Monday, XX/XX/2022, I called back requesting to speak to a supervisor I reached someone by the name of XXXX at XXXX. Then I was transferred to XXXX, Again I was transferred to XXXX, XXXX or XXXX she refused to let me speak to a supervisor and told me the account is active, I should speak to that dept, where the active accounts are. I feel I should have been able to speak to someone with higher authority, I closed the account out and was not able to pay. M & T bank called me several times about making payments. So I tried to be in compliance with the bank, but I am not getting in where, soon the amount will be XXXX or more if this keeps up. I sure the bank has these recordings of the conversations on both days. Furthermore, I thought this dept was to help customers when there is a problem with their accounts, M & T bank called all day and evenings for collection.

WE WANT COPIES OF THE LIS PENDENS FROM XXXX XXXX FOR THE HOME LOCATED AT XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX GA XXXX, A COPY OF THE LETTER OF ABANDONMENT FROM THE XXXX TRUSTEE AND THE MOTION TO LIFT THE AUTOMATIC STAY WHICH YOU VIOLATED. XXXX WENT TO THE HOME AND CHANGED ALL OF THE LOCKS AND PLACED A LOCK BOX ON THE DOOR, THE HOME WAS NOT PHYSICALLY ABANDONED. TO TOP IT OFF EACH HOME HAD A RECORDED LIS PENDENS ' ATTACHED TO EACH. IF WE HAD OR RECEIVED A LOAN THE LIS PENDENS NONE OF THE HOMES COULD NOT BE SOLD UNTIL THE LIS PENDENS WAS SATISFIED. THE HOMES WAS STOLEN PRIOR TO MY WIFE 'S DISCHARGE XX/XX/2022 ( WHICH IS MY XXXX ). I THINK THE XXXX WAS ATTEMPTING TO BE HUMOROUS. Consumer Complaint: M & T Bank holds our mortgage and escrow account. They have delayed in paying our XXXX taxes so long that we have received a Tax Lien notice on our property. This is the 2nd year in a row that they have delayed in paying our taxes. The XXXX taxes were not paid until XX/XX/XXXX, and only paid after repeated phone calls from us to M & T Bank. I have phoned M & T Bank 3 times since XX/XX/XXXX to report late tax notices regarding the XXXX taxes. I have received no action on their part to correct the issue or payment. Due Date for XXXX taxes was XX/XX/XXXX for the amount of {$2500.00}. They remain unpaid today, XX/XX/XXXX, and have increased with penalties and interest to {$3500.00}.
