Issue: Improper use of your report

Subissue: Reporting company used your report improperly

Consumer Complaint: During the months of XXXX and XXXX of XXXX, XXXX illegally accessed my Lexis-Nexis XXXX report XXXX times with a hard inquiry. The dates were the XXXX, XXXX ( on which XXXX requests occurred ), XXXX, and XXXX ( XXXX requests ) of XXXX, and the XXXX ( XXXX requests ), XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX of XXXX. I did not apply for credit or insurance on those dates, and in any case, XXXX is not a lending agency or insurance company -- meaning that the ultimate recipient of my report information was never provided to me. I disputed the information with Lexis Nexis in XXXX of XXXX which removed the inquiries. I called XXXX and the customer service agent had no knowledge of these inquiries. During the dispute with Lexis Nexis, they failed to provide me documentation of the results of the dispute on a claim I failed to authenticate my identification. I mailed the identifying documentation requested via certified mail on the XXXX of XXXX, XXXX. It was delivered on XX/XX/XXXX. I have not yet received a response.

I tried calling again with my XXXX and they need me to upload their driver 's license or birth certificate to verify our identity as my child is XXXX XXXXXXXX. I already XXXX XXXX my XXXX XXXX SSN and DL # but apparently that's not enough. It makes me really uncomfortable to have to upload these items to fix an error that they made and to not have a physical location that we could go to instead.
