Consumer Complaint: I made a XXXX $ transaction with chase today. I realized the payment I made was to a fradulent person as I lost contact with them right after the transaction was made. I quickly logged into my chase to see if I can stop the transaction and I was happy to see the transaction as pending and not in completed state. So I contacted the bank as asked if they could stop processing the payment. The Chase bank denied and said I'd have to contact XXXX since it was a XXXX payment done through Chase. I tried to contact XXXX and they said if XXXX was used through bank then I should be reaching out to Bank only. I am stuck here not knowing whom to contact and how to get the XXXX $ to stop.

Consumer Complaint: last year an online gambling company fleeced around XXXX from me. this happened between XXXX and XX/XX/2022. and it was in XXXX that I learned online gambling is ILLEGAL in California. so I asked the online gambling site to return what they fleeced. at first they agreed and send me a software to snip out the paid amounts from my bank statements which totaled around XXXX such transactions. but then they reneged!! so I reported this to chase and they began to credit back the charges, but then they stopped after charging back a few of them!! so I brought this to the attention of their exec office who told me that I should provide them with a law enforcement report. and so I did. but then they contradicted themselves and said that it has no bearing!! and this is why I'm contacting you. to see to it that chase is held responsible for their actions. that they're held responsible for financing a gambling site which is ILLEGAL in California. as such I want to see the money fleeced from me by the gambling site which was financed and accommodated by chase returned to me. and if you can punish them I'm for that as well. thank you for your support

I believe that this action not only violates the guidelines set forth by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) but also disregards the factual circumstances surrounding my account. Furthermore, it may also be in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). On XX/XX/23, I discovered to my surprise that my account with Chase Bank had been closed without any warning or notification from your institution. This action took place within the same month I had made timely payments towards my account balance. As a customer who consistently adheres to payment obligations, it is both disheartening and confusing to be subjected to such a sudden and drastic measure without any explanation. The FDCPA explicitly outlines the responsibilities and obligations of financial institutions, including the requirement to provide consumers with appropriate notice before taking any adverse actions, such as the closure of an account. The absence of such notice in my case leaves me puzzled and concerned about the treatment I have received. Additionally, I would like to bring to your attention the potential violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). This act establishes guidelines for the accuracy, fairness, and privacy of information reported to credit bureaus. The closure of my account without valid cause or proper notification may result in negative and inaccurate reporting to credit bureaus, which could harm my credit standing. It is imperative that Chase Bank adheres to the provisions of the FCRA and ensures that accurate information is reported. Furthermore, it is crucial to acknowledge the facts surrounding my account prior to its closure. I have been a loyal customer of Chase Bank for several years, maintaining a satisfactory banking relationship. Consumer Complaint: Good morning, After major struggles with my XXXX Chase credit card, and with the other company involved on this matter ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ), I've decided to seek help from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. I've spent endless hours filing complaints back and forward with both of them. I find it shocking that my XXXX Chase credit card did not really care too much to help XXXX of their clients, after receiving a simple " no '' thru XXXX letters in different letters sent to me in their final decision. In fact, the credit card company asked not to contact again on this matter. I provided an extensive amount of evidence on this. I have enough evidence to prove this companys scamming costumers, but Chase Credit Card must have some sort of special relation with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( the other company involved ). And trying to contact XXXX XXXX aXXXX XXXX XXXXl ( the company involved ) was a real waste of time. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX attempted fraud and scam, the second I showed up with my family on their facilities to rent a car. I will simplify with a quick timelime of events. XXXX I arrived with my family at XXXX Car and Truck Rental, a requested deposit of {$150.00} was placed in my XXXX Chase XXXX. They tried to charge twice, because I showed up XXXX minutes before car reservation, that didn't happened. XXXX On departure, a receipt was denied, and promised via email. Never got the receipt. ( after multiples attempts to reach the company. ) Never got the deposit. ( opened a major dispute with Chase ) Start going back and forward with XXXX Chase on this. The credit card deposit was {$150.00} and it just disappeared like magic, with no receipt. No receipt what so ever still.. XXXX Called Chase, regarding a letter they sent me, stating the alleged disputed transaction was valid. XXXX. Chase got the receipt from the company. XXXX. Chase claimed they sent me receipt the XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX. I never got the receipt. XXXX. Chase re-sends receipt to me. XXXX XXXX the receipt from Chase FINALLY with a breakdown. XXXX After thorough review now I can see why there was never a receipt disclosing details. And here are the reasons : XXXX. Half of the charges were already charged on original purchase via XXXX XXXX. The other half : tolls services, these tolls services were NEVER requested when submitted deposit at arrival. Unwanted toll services and inaccuracy on CAR mileage. I took photos of the mileage, and everything else that was wrong. I finally got another receipt from XXXX back in XX/XX/XXXX. This took place back in XX/XX/XXXX and I finally got a receipt XX/XX/XXXX, there ws prob. no receipt, ever, when Chase got involved the made a who knows what with wrong figures all over the place. My deposit was never returned.

I WAS TOLD SINCE I HAD COVID AND CALLED IN THAT TGEY WOULD NOT REPORT IT TO THE BUREAUS. Consumer Complaint: After filing a dispute with XXXX, creditor JPMCB Chase Bank credit card acknowledged error with date of my last payment which occurred in XXXX, XXXX and not XXXX, XXXX which is when account was closed and charged-off. On XX/XX/XXXX, JPMCB removed this account tradeline from my XXXX credit report because last payment was 7 years ago. But, JPMCB has not done same with XXXX and XXXX despite how I filed separate disputes with all 3 credit reporting agencies. This violates the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Debt Collections Practices Act and Ohio Consumer Sales Practices Act ( Ohio Rev. Code Sec. 1345 ) which authorizes treble damages awards. If this account is not deleted from all 3 major credit reporting agencies immediately, I will file a Complaint with the Ohio Attorney General 's Office Consumer Affairs Division and retain counsel to file suit for violations of the consumer protection statutes discussed above.

Consumer Complaint: I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction and frustration with the recent closure of my checking account with Chase Bank. The closure was a result of an accidental deposit made by my brother into my account, and the subsequent actions taken by Chase Bank have caused me significant financial and emotional distress. On XX/XX/2023, while my brother and I were together at a Chase ATM, he accidentally deposited his paycheck into my checking account, amount is XXXX dollars from his boss. Unfortunately, there was no way to cancel or go back to the previous page during the deposit process. As soon as I realized the mistake, I immediately contacted the customer support hotline to rectify the situation. However, I was informed that it was impossible to cancel the deposited check, and as a consequence, my account was closed due to this error. I understand that protocols and procedures exist to ensure the security and integrity of banking transactions. However, I firmly believe that the circumstances surrounding this incident warrant a reconsideration of Chase Bank 's decision. It was an honest mistake made by my brother and me, and we took immediate action to address the situation. The closure of my account has left me without access to essential banking services and has caused undue hardship for both my brother and me. In my efforts to resolve this matter, I have contacted the fraud department multiple times. I have been asked to provide my brother 's phone number as a means of verifying his identity. Regrettably, Chase Bank has been unable to verify his phone number, despite the fact that he holds his own Chase account and credit card under the same phone number. This phone number has been actively used for the past XXXX years, including being associated with government benefits, FAFSA, all credit cards, and even during the application process for a Social Security Number. I sincerely hope that Chase Bank will reconsider its decision and take immediate action to rectify this matter. I believe in the principles of fairness, accountability, and customer service, and I trust that Chase Bank shares these values. I kindly request a prompt response to this complaint and a thorough review of my case.
