Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX a charge was made by a merchant in the amount of {$730.00} by using deceit and misrepresentation. The merchant promised to deliver a pair of sunglasses that were brand new from the store and failed to fulfill the promise by contacting me the following day stating they had a brand new pair in their store. As per conversation with the saleswoman they are to mail me a new pair direct from the manufacturer. After contacting chase credit card and disputing the charge, the merchant misinformed Chase stating I walked away with a new pair of sunglasses therefore denying my dispute. This is false because I never received the product nor did I walk away with the merchandise. Chase did nothing to help to protect me as their customer and stated there is nothing they can do.

My chase was connected to my job for direct deposit, my credit cards, my school for tuition reimbursement, literally everything. It was literally closed for no reason at all. After waiting 10 days I did not get a refund and had to call chase to request a refund they informed me it would take an additional 10 days. Its high deceptive to require customers to call to request refunds for products/services they failed to deliver. It is unacceptable for a consumer to have to wait 20+ days to get refund.

I informed the representative I did not apply for any account or credit line of any sort with Chase Banking and she said she will stop the application, mail me some fraudulent information and my credit report should reflect the correction with 30 days. I have placed an freeze with all three credit bureaus. I also spoke with an representative from XXXX who flagged the incident as fraudulent and directed me to this site make an identity theft report.

Consumer Complaint: On Monday, XX/XX/XXXX, I had two false XXXX charges on my Chase bank account after losing my phone and wallet. I called Wednesday, XXXX XXXX to submit a claim. I was told there would be reversal of charges and an investigation. I did not recieve either. My claim closed within 3 days, and I never recieved any temporary reversal of charges while the " investigation '' was ongoing. They told me to get in contact with XXXX, which I did, and they could not help me either with a refund and told me to contact my bank. A Chase representative told me on Friday, XX/XX/XXXX, that my claim was actually in progress and I should recieve a reversal on XX/XX/XXXX. However, today, on XX/XX/XXXX, i had not recieved anything, so I reached back out and was told my claim was closed after just 3 days. I don't believe the claim was investigated properly, with the ticket quantity being looked into and such. i was told because I used XXXX before, that it couldn't be fraud, which did not seem feasible to assume.

Consumer Complaint: I have a XXXX XXXX XXXX, and a business checking through Chase bank. Someone hacked into the tshirt company that I order my blank shirts from and made 22 orders under my account and company debit card. All of these orders were shipped to New York. I have filed a police report. I have closed my account with the tshirt vendor and cancelled the debit card from Chase. There was about {$8500.00} worth of charges that were not authorized by me taken directly from my account. I have never shipped an order to New york. Chase says it isnt fraud because I regularly use this vendor, but I sent them all the invoices showing that the goods were not shipped to me or received by me., or authorized purchases. I have filed a claim with Chase 3 different times. I have contacted the office of comptroller of the currency who sent me to you. I do not know what else to do. This was absolutely fraud on my debit card and I am currently in the negative with my checking account at chase. PLEASE HELP ME GET MY MONEY BACK! I do not have the documents scanned into this computer but I will happily fax them somewhere if you could please forward me the fax info.

Your account closed on XX/XX/2020, and we placed your remaining funds in suspense. To have the funds released from suspense, we need verifiable phone numbers for the makers of the checks I dont have the names of the checks and asked for copies of the checks so I can locate the makers and ask them for affidavits.

There was no email or notification on the status on my international wire transfer. I called Chase on XX/XX/2023 to inquire about the status. Chase told me that the recipient bank XXXX rejected the transfer. I paid {$50.00} to Chase for this service. I got {$160.00} USD from the initial {$200.00} USD that was wired. I called Chase and Chase said it is not their problem. Chase wanted me to do the international wire transfer. I said no I can't afford to use their unreliable international wire transfer service. I instead used XXXX with the same info that I gave Chase and had no problem.
