Consumer Complaint: Chase Bank has refused to provide me with temporary credit as I had disputed a few transactions. Specifically, the transaction in the amount of {$64.00} from " union '' was disputed because the merchant said a refund would be made within 10 days. It has been over 10 days since I received notice of the event cancellation, and I had shared these details with Chase Bank. Chase Bank refuses to accept any documentation or other evidence from their customers, and only accepts documents through fax. I do not have a fax machine, and I do not have a vehicle for transportation. They do this on purpose to minimize their obligations to adhere to federal regulations.

Issue: Advertising and marketing, including promotional offers
Subissue: Didn't receive advertised or promotional terms
Consumer Complaint: In early XX/XX/2023, I opened a Marriott Bonvoy Boundless card through Chase bank. The terms of the promotion ( as with many loyalty credit cards ) was to receive a certain amount of points in my Marriott Bonvoy account ( XXXX after spending over {$3000.00} in the first 3 months ) as well as {$250.00} eGift card which I never received. I have went round and round with both Marriott and Chase on trying to resolve this with no success. I was diligent about capturing the Credit Card Offer details when I signed up online and applied for the card. I was sure to even read the credit card details and save a screen print on my computer to ensure that I knew what the terms of the promotion were in addition to hold Chase and Marriott accountable to them once I met the terms for which I have completed as stated in the agreement. As it stands now I have NOT received 50,000 points in my Bonvoy account and there has not be a {$250.00} eGift card issued. I did communicate that I would be happy with a {$250.00} statement credit as well. I am very upset at Chase and consider these tactics to be Deceptive and Bait and Switch tactics since this agreement was very clear and in writing. I will be happy to upload the agreement as well as any supporting documents. If Chase does not resolve to to align with the terms of the agreement that I agreed upon when opening the card then I will open a complaint with XXXX as well withdrawing all funds from Chase and moving to another bank. I will make this experience very well known all over Social Media. There are many that have fallen victim to Deceptive practices of this and are complaining about the same thing. There are many complaints of deceptive and Bait and Switch tactics on applying for this card online.

Consumer Complaint: Company : Chase Date : XX/XX/XXXX Amount : over {$70000.00} I have been a Chase customer for years. They just mailed me a letter to notify that they have decided to closed all my accounts ( including checking, saving and credit cards ) in Chase without telling me a specific reason. Chase didn't contact me before and they told me this is a final decision and they didn't accept any appeal too. This decision not only hurts my feeling but also causes a lot of inconvenience to me. It will take extra time for me to transfer my money to another financial institution and will cause a pause of financial services for a period of time. Moreover, it will have negative impact to my credit score.

Consumer Complaint: On the date of XX/XX/2023, my wife and I visited JP Morgan Chase Bank N.A. ( XXXX ) Branch, located at XXXX XXXX, where we engaged in a transaction with XXXX XXXX XXXX, who facilitated the opening of a Business account, Account # XXXX, for our company, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, doing business as XXXX, XXXX. During this visit, we deposited 32 checks amounting to {$79000.00} into the account. XXXX XXXX handled the checks and no concerns were raised regarding the number of checks being deposited to open the account. Regrettably, it appears that XXXX XXXX inadvertently omitted to include the second page of the Doing Business As ( DBA ) document, which contained our fictitious name, XXXX. Consequently, Chase 's fraud department red-flagged the transaction due to the checks being written under both XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX with the majority under the latter. This situation resulted in the suspension and subsequent cancellation of our account without any explanation from Chase, leaving us without access to our funds. Multiple attempts to resolve the matter by contacting the branch have proven futile, with representatives stating that the checks have already been cashed by Chase. Despite this acknowledgment, they have refused to allow us access to our funds and offered no reason for the account cancellation. For over a month, our attempts to gain resolution and retrieve our funds have been met with unresponsiveness from Chase. They have even suggested that the money may be sent to the California unclaimed property fund. Moreover, Chase has expressed difficulty in verifying the legitimacy of the checks with the issuing institutions, requesting a list of phone numbers for verification purposes. Although we promptly provided the requested list, Chase maintains that they can not verify the legitimacy of the contact information. This inaction and negligence by Chase have had severe consequences for our small company, as we now face challenges in meeting our financial obligations, including paying our employees. Despite all the checks having been collected and cleared by Chase long ago, they have not provided a timeframe for resolution. In light of the circumstances, we demand that Chase promptly rectify this matter, grant access to our funds, and provide a clear explanation for the account cancellation. Our company 's financial stability and ability to fulfill our obligations are at stake, and we expect the due diligence and professionalism expected of a reputable financial institution. Failure to address this situation satisfactorily will compel us to seek legal remedies to safeguard our rights and interests.
