Consumer Complaint: I filed a lost baggage claim with XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) in XX/XX/2023 ( Claim # XXXX ). This is an advertised benefit offered by JP Morgan Chase issued Chase Sapphire Reserve credit card. 6+ months later, I am yet to receive a response for it. I havebeen asked to provide a number of clarification / additional documents which I have immediately provided. Yet my claim remains pending. I have called every week, and unable to reach a claims examiner over the phone. Literally every week, I receive the same response - " your callback is scheduled for 24-48 hours '' and " our large claims volume has slowed processing ''. I lost my bag after my wedding and am missing valuable items which me and wife need to replace. It is unacceptable that I have not been compensated for this long. The claim is for $ XXXX worth of lost items. I am disappointed that Chase continues to have a relationship with XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) for travel insurance services despite such poor customer services and issue resolution.

Consumer Complaint: Fraudulent Charge someone used my credit card online to purchase {$13000.00} XXXX watch from jewelry store in Illinois. Charge was made XX/XX/XXXX - XXXXXXXX XXXX - Charged {$13000.00} - Email Alert - Assuming this was declined then another charge was made on XX/XX/XXXX - XXXXXXXX XXXX - Charged {$13000.00} - Text Alert I noticed the charge when I woke up and reported it as fraud to Chase via Chase Customer Services on XX/XX/XXXX - XXXXXXXX XXXX to XXXXXXXX XXXX I was told since it is a fraudulent charge, we will take the charge off of your account and issue you a new credit card. XX/XX/XXXX - the charge was added back on my card and I was found responsible from the information provided by the merchant to chase The charge was made on XX/XX/XXXX, I reported on XX/XX/XXXX, then chase reported to merchant on XX/XX/XXXX and still merchant shipped the package with XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and it was picked up by unknown person from XXXX store on XX/XX/XXXX. Chase is holding me responsible even though I followed the step and reported it immediately. Chase is saying the evidence are against me and I am responsible to pay the {$13000.00}. They are not putting charge on hold until the matter is resolved. They basically closed the case without providing me any details. This is going to hurt my credit and it is going to be collecting interest on the card since I will not be making any payment until the matter is resolved. I thought reporting the fraud would resolve the matter, but chase is not helping it anyways. they do not respond in timely manner, and I have to keep calling to get any help.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I wrote a check in the amount of {$2800.00} to another Chase Bank customer who attempted to deposit the check on XX/XX/XXXX. The money left my account but was withheld by Chase from the other customer 's account for check verification and his account was subsequently closed. Chases XXXX verification system lists an incorrect phone number for me - I have had my phone number for nearly ten years and use it for two-step authentication into all of Chases online banking platforms. Subsequently, myself and the other customer both physically went together to a local Chase Bank branch in XXXX XXXX, XXXX, NY with our government-issued IDs, the original check, and Chase Bank cards linked to our respective accounts. No resolution was achieved in-person. When we followed up with the phone numbers that the branch provided as next steps, we were each separately told conflicting information to solve the problem. With no resolution from customer claims or the local branch, the Branch Manager escalated the issue to the Chase Executive Office last week ( XX/XX/XXXX ), at which point the other customer and I were each given separate case numbers. Our assigned case managers placed blame on the other customer and said there was nothing they could do to resolve the issue. It has now been a month and a half and there is no end in sight. Neither myself nor the other customer have access to this {$2800.00} as it is being held in a dispute status by Chase indefinitely. From my perspective, Chase has taken {$2800.00} from me and is holding the money with no intention of sending it either ( a ) back to me, or ( b ) to the intended recipient of the check. Any assistance to bring this matter to one of those two resolutions is greatly appreciated.

Consumer Complaint: Chase credit card statements mislead consumers into believing amounts labeled under " Interest Savings Balance '' will not incur interest since they represent ongoing balances from interest free promotions. However, when the interest free periods expire the expired amount is not removed from Interest Savings Balances on statements thereby luring consumers into not paying those amounts before Chase charges >29 % interest. Though the interest charge I disputed was {$100.00}, I believe Chase knowingly misled me and many others into paying interest I would not have paid had I not been mislead. I phoned Chase customer service on XX/XX/2023 at approximately 3pm and spoke with a supervisor who acknowledged it would be reasonable for customers to assume amounts noted on statement headings under " XXXXnterest Savings Balance '' would not incur interest. However she told me that if I read to the end of the statement there was a section that notified me of amounts I would be charged interest on. Since I relied upon the amounts shown under the interest Savings Balance at the top of the statement I saw no need to read through the entire 4-page statement.

Consumer Complaint: I have attached an affidavit detailing my statement on this matter as well as a screenshot of my cell phone showing I never received a wire confirmation. It is abundantly clear that someone hacked the credentials to my account, logged in, updated the contact information, and executed a wire without my knowledge. This should not have been possible if Chase had adequately secured my account. I reject the decision that I executed this wire and received " goods or services '' in return. I demand this case be reconsidered and my money returned to my account. I do not understand how you can assert I received goods or services and yet not provide any proof to that effect. I also do not understand how someone was able to change my contact phone number for wire/fraud authorization/notifications without the number on file being notified, this is unacceptable and a failure by Chase to protect my account. As stated above, I demand this case be reopened and reconsidered with the additional affidavit and screenshot provided. I have been a client of Chase for many years, and I expect this to be resolved in a satisfactory manner. I will not hesitate to consult counsel on this matter if Chase fails to perform its duties as required by law.
