I do not know if my other assets are in danger.

Consumer Complaint: My mom was a customer at Chase Bank. She passed away XXXX XXXX XXXX Me and my sister are beneficiaries on her account.She had {$1000.00} in her checking account. Chase placed a hold on her account because she would receive a social security payment and the last payment was deposited in her account a few days after her death. Chase claim to put a hold on my mom account because she so called was not entitled to that last payment because it was made after her death and until social security took back the money they deposited they could not release the funds in her account. I then contacted social security because it has already been 7 months since she passed and they had not taken the money out. Social security told me that my mom was entitled to that payment because even though the money was deposited in XXXX that payment was for the month of XXXX and in XXXX she was still alive. They also told me if my mom owed them that payment they would have been taken the money out and that their system shows no overpayment made to my mom. I communicated this to Chase and I keep getting the run around they do not want to take the hold off of my mom account and release the funds. It has been 9 months since my mom passed and there is still a hold.

Consumer Complaint: I got a notification that my account had been suspended, without any warning. I called Chase to find out the reasoning and what was going on. They refused to give any details, aside from telling me that due to the contract, Chase had the right to close at anytime without any warning or reasoning provided to me. I called multiple times and they kept giving me the same answer. All they kept say is " We understand ''. Not even caring when i said all my funds for bills and rent were through the account. I had bills to pay in the next few days. And without the account, i had no way of paying. And they said we will send a check with the money left over, which would not help me pay the bills on time. Very unhelpful, and unprofessional. I have not done anything to deserve the closure, and they wouldnt even tell me what caused the suspension in the first place.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2023 I received my first pay roll check from my place of employment. I deposited the check thru my Chase bank mobile app and it uploaded twice, not purposefully. I knew the amount deposited being over {$500.00} would be put on hold for XXXX hours. After the XXXX hours came about, my checking account was restricted due to the double check uploading mistake. Understandable. I was told XXXX business days my account will become active again and my employers bank ( XXXX XXXX ) would need to cancel the extra check.. they did. So now being almost XXXX weeks of not having my hard earned pay check accessible, Im beyond frustrated. The XXXX yesterday came ( the XXXX business day ) I still could not access my money. I called customer service around XXXX pm, I was told my account is on hold another XXXX hours. After XXXX XXXX came and I STILL cant pay my bills. I called around XXXX XXXX, to which I was again told that it will be on continued hold until my employer is verified. I went to chase, brought the pay roll check I deposited on my bank app, verified my entire existence to prove I am not a fraud. NOTHING is being done.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I received 29 posted charges of {$19.00} from " XXXX '' which I did not authorize deeming this was fraudulent activity. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received another XXXX posted charges of {$19.00} from " XXXX '' which was again, fraudulent activity. I disputed the first 29 charges because they were posted charges and was credited the {$570.00} from a Chase claim supervisor named XXXX. Once the remaining 28 charges were posted, I filed another claim which I was credited {$550.00} 2 hours after the call. I did not approve nor did I make the 57 charges of {$19.00} ( {$1100.00} ), every person I spoke to also agreed that this was fraudulent activity. The Chase supervisor who helped me out was " XXXX XXXXXXXX '' and provided me with information such as reference #, claim #, but no documentation about my claim. I was also told that I was going to receive information and never received any email, notifications, or documentation regarding my claims. I have spoken to Chase claims about 4-5x with each phone call being 30 minutes to 1 hour. All of which they stated that I was going to receive documentation about my claims, none of which appeared in my account or email. On XX/XX/XXXX, I just discovered that 32 claims were reversed totalling {$630.00} because my debit card is at a balance of " {$0.00} '' and I received an email stating I was in danger of an overdraft fee. Chase has now reversed {$630.00} of fraudulent activity without even explaining or updating me about my claims.

On XX/XX/2021, the Chase Executive Office reply me, they told me that I should go to any Chase branch to get an Notary, then sent to Chase XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX, my deposit Box should be closed. I did so and sent the document to Chase XXXX XXXX office by XXXX at the same day. After several days, I checked that the mail was delivered by Chase XXXX XXXX branch through XXXX website. From that time, I did not received any information from Chase XXXX XXXXXXXX office. I think the deposit box was closed. All documents was attached for your reference. Consumer Complaint: I have simply had it with Chase bank. I have called on several occasions to get overdraft fees removed from my account. They currently have a rule that if youre overdraft more than {$50.00}, fees will be posted AND the amount of fees are endless. So for each transaction that overdraws the account any further there will be a fee for each one. There was a point and time this year alone that Chase bank charged me well over XXXX overdraft fees. They also do not allow the fees to be removed if they have already done so once within a 180 day period. I am simply tired of having to battle with them over these fees. I have been out of work since XXXX of this year and I can not continue having these issues. I am overwhelmed by the amount of things that my card is connected to. Instead of declining the purchase, they allow the merchant to charge my card with no funds available so they can have the opportunity to charge these fees.
