On XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX was designated under the Executive Order 14024. Considering this, my payment must be blocked by intermediary bank according to US sanctions regulation. In order to unblock the payment, I need to apply for a specific license to OFAC. However, JP Morgan Chase Bank has not still blocked the payment or has not informed originating bank about freezing measures. Thus, I can not apply to OFAC for a license that is necessary to unblock my funds because to do so, I must fill in some data and specifically the date when the payment was blocked. Otherwise, OFAC may not locate the records of the blocked payment. We tried several times ( XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX all our appeals are attached. ) to contact JP Morgan Chase Bank via XXXX from XXXX Bank asking them to clarify if the payment was blocked and reported to OFAC and when. Still, JP Morgan Chase Bank has not responded. Thus, I can not apply to OFAC for a license that is necessary to unblock my funds.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2023 I mailed a certified money order in the amount of {$1000.00} & also had a {$20.00} bill included to Chase Auto Finance. It was received and cashed and entered into their system as {$120.00}!!!! This resulted in showing my account as a late payment and reported to my credit bureaus. This dropped my credit score by XXXX points. All this made another credit card drop my limit by thousands to a small amount over my current balance. This will be also reflecting negatively on my credit once it updates. This company has destroyed my credit and then reported to the bureaus that it was correct after I filed disputes on each one.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX my car was broken into in XXXX California. At approximately XXXX the break in was reported to the police. At approximately XXXX, then again at XXXX Chase was called and the theft was reported to them. A new debit card was issued. ( See attachment " Call Log of report to chase immediately after calling XXXX '' ). XXXX XXXX XXXX Sheriff 's Department Case # XXXX This case number is for both the car break on and the Chase branch theft. ( see attachment " XXXX XXXX '' ) On XX/XX/XXXX just after XXXX we received a phone call from a teller at a branch in northern California XXXX we are in XXXX XXXX XXXX. He explained that someone came into the branch and was very suspicious. We confirmed it wasn't us, and he explains he was just then putting fraud alerts on our account. He advised us to login and change our account passwords. XXXX minutes later at around XXXX I sat at my computer to change our passwords. When I logged in at that time I discovered that {$1900.00} was missing from our checking account ( see attachment " Fraudulent Withdrawal slip that XXXX XXXX '' ). It was a withdrawal, IN PERSON at a Chase branch ( see attachment " Branch Location Where Fraud Took XXXX '' ). It's assumed that the person used my stolen California Drivers license. It is unknown how and what other form of ID they provided. And at this time, there should have been alerts. Again, if not when I first reported the robbery/theft on XX/XX/XXXX. But just earlier that morning from the other teller that called us. At this moment, XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX we still do not have OUR MONEY. It has been XXXX calendar days, XXXX business days. The only compromise the branch manager was willing to do was give us {$200.00} cash on XX/XX/XXXX, because it was our sons XXXX birthday the next day. So of the {$1900.00} that is owed, we are now still currently owed {$1700.00}. In addition to not having our money Chase has taken the funds from a fraudulent check that the person attempted to deposit. In the amount of {$3400.00} ( see attachment " Fraudulent Check that XXXX XXXX XXXX ). **Please note we went to a branch ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX immediately on Saturday the XXXX. We also were at the branch multiple times during the week of XXXX XXXX. This fraudulent check wasn't discovered until the XXXX or XXXX, when the funds were pulled from our account. At no point in time did any funds from that fraudulent check hit/credit our account. Not one single penny. Yet Chase has taken those funds out of our account. The {$1900.00} that was stolen from us was our own money. From our payday just the day before. So at this moment in time Chase has not credited us back OUR {$1700.00}. But also has the fraudulent {$3400.00} check posted against us. Our checking account is sitting at XXXX. We are a family of XXXX. We have XXXX young children and haven't had access to OUR money in 10 days now. We are unable to put gas in our cars or buy groceries to feed our children. We are becoming severely impacted by the lack of Chase 's attempt to correct THEIR wrong. The hardship this iscreating is spiraling. I missed work on Monday of last week and my husband had to end up missing work Wednesday because of this. We are beyond stressed with what this is doing to our bills and situation. And it's only getting worse. We were not only proactive in reporting the theft to Chase but we have done everything within our power to provide patience and information for Chase to resolve this. And they have yet to do so. At the end of the day Chase is liable for forgeries. And they have a legal and likely contractual obligation to only pay items properly payable against our account. And they were unable to do so. Again, at no fault of ours. Chase is at this time also denying that they are obligated to provide us provisional credit while they do their investigation. They are stonewalling us and have us in an absolute chokehold. Our children are the ones really paying for this. We are now obtaining legal direction and advice, and will move forward with this situation according to their direction. Starting with this report here.

Consumer Complaint: On or around XX/XX/2023, I mailed the attached dispute letter to Chase. On XX/XX/2023, XXXX XXXX at Chase contacted me about the dispute. She said Chase required a second opinion letter on the jet ski. I told her, I had sold the Jet ski and that was impossible. XXXX said she had no mechanism to process my claim without me taking the jet ski to a dealer to get a second opinion. She noted her system would not allow the claim to move forward with that document. I asked her to note my objections and send me a written response. I don't believe the credit card company can unilaterally impose a requirement that I obtain a document that is impossible to obtain. I'm not aware of any requirement in the law. This appears to be an internal procedure created by Chase. At no point was I advised that I would need a second opinion letter when filing a dispute. I took pictures of the issue, have testified to the issue, and the merchant does not deny it happened.

Consumer Complaint: I attempted to transfer significant money from Chase bank to one of my other bank accounts. They did not recognize the account and said that they needed to " verify '' the account by depositing some minor amounts into my account, which they did. They said the process would take 2-3 business days. It took 5 days before they asked me to identify the quantities. I did and they verified the account. I then directed the transfer on the XXXX and they were to make the transfer on the XXXX. On the XXXX they blocked my account due to suspected fraud. I had to call their fraud reps who hung up on me multiple times. I finished their verification twice and finally got one of them to unlock my account. He told me I would be able to redo the transfer after 30 minutes. It has now been hours. now. The reason they gave for blocking my account was that they could not verify that I was the owner. What was the transfer test for if not to verify the account? They are holding my money hostage by unilateral decision. I rechecked with the receiving institution, and they verified that I had the right transfer address. I am planning a major expenditure and need this money soon. What good does it do to have money in the bank if they won't give it to you?

Consumer Complaint: my ssn number was stolen by someone and found out after I closed my bank account and two checks was withdrawn for {$2200.00} and {$2800.00} from some else. I called the chase bank claim phone number and consulted and explained the bank staff about the debt of {$2200.00} and the result was that the check stored on XX/XX/XXXX, {$2000.00} bounced However, I deposited {$2200.00} cash in the atm machine on XX/XX/XXXX, and the statement of the cash is proved./ The explanation given for the debt of XXXX is that the amount {$2800.00} mistakenly sent to me by the government on XX/XX/2021 was recovered. However, I have asked my accountant that this {$2800.00} is the government subsidy XXXX for me and my wife I have also called the IRS to confirm that no money has been collected or owed in my profile and my online IRS account shows nothing unusual about me.
