Consumer Complaint: Hello! Please help me get my money back from Chase bank. Ive been banking with Chase for years. On Friday, XX/XX/XXXX, I went to the Chase ATM in XXXX XXXX, about XXXX XXXX. and attempted to withdraw money. The money was deducted from my account, but never given to me. Instead, I received a slip from the ATM indicating the withdrawal was not processed, but to give the number on the receipt a call for further action. I immediately went inside of the bank and spoke to the manager. Shortly after, a few people also went inside with the same complaint. Long story short, I have been getting the runaround about having my money returned to me. Initially, I was informed the ATM would correct itself and credit the money within 1-2 hours the same day. When the money was not received the same day, I called the number back and was informed I would have to wait a few business days for the money to be credited and have it returned to me eitheXXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX or XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. On XXXX, I called back after the money was still not received and was informed that the claim, I opened the day it happened was closed and I would need to open another claim. They could not explain how the claim was closed, but I requested to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor was not helpful either. They advised they could not help and could not offer me a provisional credit for the time being. I explained that this was a mess up with their ATM and I was the person that was being penalized for it. I said I had the money in the account, and I needed my money returned to me immediately. The amount that I am currently out is {$650.00}, however the amount should not matter at this point, although that to me is a lot of money. Im also wondering who else this has happened to. I returned to the bank on Friday XX/XX/XXXX, and again spoke to the manager who said she thought I had received my money, since everyone else had already received their money. She made the call for me, while I waited in the lobby for approximately 30-45 minutes while she was on the phone attempting to correct the issue. When she returned, she explained that the department that she spoke to over the phone, said they could not provide me with a provisional credit. She said she explained that the ATM 's have been having issues for some time and that the day it happened, the ATM 's had an " overage. '' She apologized profusely for not being able to get me my money back and said she would be the biggest advocate for me. She also said the new timeframe was either XXXX XXXXXX/XX/XXXX or XXXX XXXXXX/XX/XXXX at the very latest. However, I called again today for an update since this does not appear to be an important matter to anyone other than me and I spoke to someone who is now telling me that they have up to 45 days to return MY money. He also mentioned the holdup is me not faxing over a copy of the receipt to them ( which has never been mentioned before ). As you know, if I owed Chase any money, they would be charging me late fees and/or interest to get their money back. It appears since I don't have anyone to back me on this, these billion-dollar companies are able to do as they please, all the while I have bills to pay. Please help me. No one should have to take the time to constantly call to check the status of something that was taken from me. No one should have their money taken and not immediately returned, while they conduct their investigation. I am a XXXX mother of a XXXX XXXX child. I need my money back NOW, not in 45 days, or must wait any longer and no one seems to be able to help. Hoping you can.

Consumer Complaint: I tried to purchase a massage chair at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Massage Chairs, located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, CA XXXX on XX/XX/2023, the sales promised to deliver the chair within 3-4 weeks. I was charged {$3000.00} for the chair and {$250.00} for the white glove delivery fee. The chair is never been delivered. I kept waiting and waiting for the delivery company to contact me. They lied about delivering more than one month after the purchase, I had to ask for a day off to wait at home all day, but nobody came at all. I waited another 2 weeks, they are still not delivering. The sales of the store promised to help schedule a delivery on a Friday, so my husband had to miss work and stayed home all day to wait for delivery, it never happened. 3 weeks later, they " scheduled '' a delivery date which we never agreed. We realized this was totally a scam, so we requested a dispute from Chase Bank on XX/XX/2023 ( I purchased the chair with my Chase Sapphire Preferred card ), I only got {$250.00} credit back but I never got the {$3000.00} credit back. I called 4 weeks after the dispute application, I was told I need to just keep waiting since the merchant is not yet replied.

Consumer Complaint: I Signed up for a XXXX XXXX through the XXXX XXXX for an offer that said if I was approved I would instantly get an XXXX gift card for {$150.00}. I did not get a gift card after signing up. Called Chase Bank on XX/XX/23 and spoke with card services to confirm my XXXX XXXX was approved. They said I was approved and that XXXX is responsible for giving me the gift card. Called Chase Bank on XX/XX/23 and talked to XXXX because XXXX said Chase is responsible for giving me the card. She said to talk to card services. I asked for her to stay on the line to explain the issue to the next person. She said okay, but when I was transferred she dropped from the call. Was told that XXXX was Responsible for giving me gift card. Called Chase Bank again on XX/XX/23 with an XXXX XXXX. Was told that my application was approved that day and could take 1-3 days to get my card. I asked why because the advertised time is instantly. She said she would transfer to an XXXX XXXX Chase expert. The hung up while the call was transferred leaving me and the XXXX XXXX alone on the call and didnt not call me back even though they had my call back number. Called Chase Bank again on XX/XX/23 and talked to manager XXXX and she said they would do an investigation on why I didnt get my gift card, but it would take 1 week. She did not say I would get a gift card, but they would look into why I didnt receive it.

I signed on to my XXXX account and noticed two hard inquiries from JPMCB back and XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX. I did not apply or attempt to open any new credit cards. I called XXXX on Saturday, XX/XX/XXXX and was told to call back on Monday since there fraud department is closed on weekends. I contacted Chase immediately after receiving the text messages below : I was alerted via text that my Chase checking account had been compromised by scammers. On XX/XX/XXXX, at XXXXXXXX XXXX CST the text was from XXXX and it read : Chase Bank : A DECLINE ON DEBIT CARD FOR {$240.00} AT XXXX TEXAS IF VALID REPLY 1 FOR YES 2 FOR NO STOP CHARGES. Second text at XXXXXXXX XXXX CST ALERT : CARD LOCKED, SUPPORT WILL CALL YOU SOON. At XXXX XXXX CST CHASE : Fraud Department - PASSWORD SUSPENSION REPLY With Old Password For Cancellation. Thank you. Then I sent them my Old Password via Text at XXXXXXXX XXXX and they came back at XXXXXXXX XXXX. CHASE PASSWORD CANCELLED. At XXXXXXXX XXXX. Text from Chase ERROR CODE CHASE Fraud Department - PASSWORD SUSPENSION REPLY With Old Password For Cancellation. Thank you. Then I sent them my Old Password via Text at XXXXXXXX XXXX. and they came back at XXXXXXXX XXXX. CHASE PASSWORD CANCELLED. Four ( 4 ) attempts to get me to sign in on a new device with 4 separate codes and the last line stating : We'll never call to ask for it. The following text messages were not sent to Chase because they put the {$1300.00} back into my account while they investigated to see if the withdrawal was fraudulent. On XX/XX/XXXX, at XXXXXXXX XXXXXXXX CST text received stating : Chase Self Service Here! To Schedule a Meeting Click this link ; Chase.com/meeting. Message and Data Rate may apply. On the same day, thank you for calling Chase your OTP is XXXX. Then at XXXXXXXX XXXX CST another text received Chase Bank Security : Did you use your card for {$440.00} at XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX? Reply YES or NO. Msgs & rates maXXXX apply. On XX/XX/XXXX at XXXXXXXX XXXX CST text received stating : XXXX XXXX : This code is for you and only you. Code : XXXX. To prevent fraud, never share it anywhere or with anyone, including people posing as XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX at XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX text received stating : App Protection Warning : Critical! ( 3 ) apps have breached your application security. Uninstall them swiftly to ensure devise safety. XXXX On XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX CST text received stating : FREE MSG Chase Fraud : Did you make transaction for {$980.00} on your debit ending in XXXX at XXXX? Reply YES or NO. On XX/XX/XXXX at XXXXXXXX XXXX CST text received stating : Chase : Did You Use Debit Card Or ATM Card For : Declined Transaction " XX/XX/XXXX '' XXXX XXXX XXXX, MI XXXX {$2400.00} Reply 1 for YES, REPLY 2 for NO. On XX/XX/XXXX aXXXX XXXX XXXX CST text received stating : From Chase : Did you attempt a XXXX transfer to XXXX for the amount of {$2000.00}? Reply YES/NO/HELP. Don't want fraud tests reply REMOVE. Chase reversed their decision on XX/XX/XXXX, and took out the {$1300.00} from my account stating that there were not enough " triggers '' to support this fraud. After several communications with Chase, I was told repeatedly that there were not enough " triggers '' for this fraudulent amount to be paid back by Chase. I did everything possible to block this from happening. I have enclosed all of these " triggers '' that Chase did not ask for. Our money was transferred to an account at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. After calling them and making sure that I had never had or opened an account with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Hence, I have several more " triggers '' that XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX had an account with some unknown person 's name on it with my information. Chase, being such a big entity has not been willing to even attempt in asking for these " triggers ''. I am a veteran and my wife, and I are both retired, and we can not afford to lose this substantial amount of money.

Consumer Complaint: For many years I have had an automatic deduction set up for my mortgage ( account # XXXX ) from my checking account ( XXXX ) in the amount of {$1900.00}. On XX/XX/2023, Chase debited my checking account in the correct amount. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a late notice on my mortgage statement indicating that payment had not been received, the amount due was double, plus an {$80.00} penalty. I immediately made a second mortgage payment, including the penalty, as I don't wish to jeopardize my farm. When I called chase checking, they could only look at the checking side of it and told me that the payment had not been returned so it must have been applied to my mortgage. When I called the mortgage department, they could only see the mortgage side of and said that it had to have been returned to my checking account. ( It hadn't ) They did give me a " temporary '' credit of {$1900.00} until I could " work it out '' with the mortgage department but I'm having no luck and can not afford to make double mortgage payments. Please help!!

Consumer Complaint: About 2 months ago, I received a letter from Chase credit card stating they received an application for a Chase Freedom XXXX XXXX credit card using my personal information. The letter stated they needed to verify this is really me. I received the same letter today. I call, give the reference number and am told they will destroy this application. This is twice now! I dont want my credit score ruined, nor do I want anyone using my information to obtain a way to purchase items that I may be responsible for paying for.
