Consumer Complaint: I, XXXX XXXX, am filing an urgent complaint against JP Morgan Chase for ongoing violations of my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) and the Privacy Protection Act of 1974. As a federally protected consumer, I exercised my right to opt out of any authorizations, per 15 U.S.C. 6802 ( a ), effective XXXX XXXX XXXX Despite my attempts to resolve this directly with JP Morgan Chase on that date, the unauthorized reporting of transactions persists, violating my rights under 15 U.S.C. 6802 ( a ). JP Morgan Chase 's continued non-compliance with its terms and conditions, explicitly stating no sharing of personal information with non-affiliates and third parties, raises concerns about their commitment to privacy. I demand, as part of the resolution to this complaint, the immediate removal of all non-public information, including Driver 's License information, address details, and transactions, for which no permissible purpose was granted. I urgently request the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to expedite an investigation into this matter, rectify the FCRA violation, and uphold the principles of the Privacy Protection Act of 1974. Enclosed, please find documentation of my attempts to address this directly with JP Morgan Chase. Your prompt attention to this matter is crucial for the protection of my rights. Thank you for your immediate action on this urgent matter. I anticipate a swift resolution. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2023 XXXX PM XXXX XXXX train station XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX young man approached me asking for donations for his basketball team. I didnt have cash on me but wanted to help, he mentioned he is accepting XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX He provided me his email address but it was long and came up invalid XXXX email address. Then the man said he can enter the email address and I without thinking, let him take my phone to enter. He proceeded to transfer XXXX to his XXXX account then ran away. The mail address he used was XXXX. I called XXXX immediately to inform them what happened then filed a police report the same day. The police mentioned I was the XXXX person that has come to their precinct with the same story. XXXX notified me on XX/XX/XXXX that there was nothing they can do given the transaction was deemed authorized. I understand that on paper everything looks authorized given I signed into my account to transfer this individual money. However, this is far from the truth. XXXX has access to see both XXXX accounts and if the money was transferred without the consent of the payer, there should still be some action completed against the recipient of the payment. Truthfully, although XXXX is a substantial amount of money, I can get by my day to day with losing XXXX, what I really want help fight for is the many other people that fell for this scam and cant pay their rent or food just because they wanted to help this young man out.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2024 my debit card was used to make an unauthorized purchase of XXXX at a XXXX store. I noticed on XX/XX/2024 I immediately contacted my bank to report the problem, my back told me the would investigate and temporarily refund me while the investigation was ongoing. I then checked the status of the claim days later and was told the claim was closed due to my personal pin being used at the time of purchase. Which was a complete false statement I then reached out to XXXX to figure out if the unauthorized purchase was made by pin to later find out it was a credit approved purchase. I then reached back out to my bank ( chase ) to reopen the claim but was denied.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/ I called chase bank due to several fraudulent transactions on my account. I ordered a new debit credit card and asked if it could be expedited. At that time I was told my account would be closed due to the banks discretion. I have over {$9000.00} that goes into my account every month. My husband XXXX of XXXX XXXX last year and I became a XXXX with XXXX XXXX children and no life insurance but I did have money from the sale of my house which was over {$300000.00}. That money was stolen from me by a man named XXXX XXXX who told me he would invest it and help me after my husband died. The bank did nothing to protect me. I had to cancel my debit card over XXXX x in the course of a yr due to it being compromised at gas stations online u name it. I put stop payments on transactions that I had cancelled months ago and they were still pushed through causing me to go into the negative. I have XXXX, child support and my pay check that gets deposited into my account every month. I never leave a negative balance and since my father just died this summer my mind has not be right. Why wouldnt Chase try to help me instead of closing my account and holding my money. I have to feed my kids. I had {$300.00} to put into the account tonight and the bank declined it.
