Consumer Complaint: I got a credit denial letter in the mail at an old address where I can still receive mail, from chase bank. I called customer service on Sat XX/XX/2023 to get information to file the dispute as it was a fraudulent application. They could not tell me any information and advice I visit a branch. I visited a branch around XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXX/XX/XXXX in XXXX Ky, they could not find record of the account and gave me a packet with a number to call their ID theft department. I call this number they submit dispute for the credit inquiry but said they could not give me the information from the application and that she had to transfer me to another dept that could give me the information I was requesting. Which I have a right to under the fair credit reporting act. That number tells me that they can not provide that info to me and was trying to direct me to online. I requested a supervisor and she denied me that request and told me to call ftc they could give me the info and provided the phone number. FTC said that was incorrect and they could not provide that info that chase had to provide that. She referred me to file this complaint. I am being denied the application I supposedly applied for. I'm being denied the information used in the application. Denied information on whether it was applied in a branch or online.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX of 2023 I mailed a {$500.00} cashier 's check, issued by Chase, to my aunt. The check was stolen out of a USPS mailbox, washed, and cashed. I sent a declaration of unauthorized endorsement to the bank, twice, and Chase has been no help. I call at least once a month and every time I call I am giving a new timeline for results, told that no one is handling my claim, that i must resubmit what I've already mail, and that I can't get a temporary credit. I just want my money back and Chase has been careless and useless. I can not get any help or answers.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2021 I made a purchase online at ramaworks.store. This purchase was to be delivered the following spring approximately two quarters later. It was then delayed indefinitely and still has not been delivered. They have violated federal laws from the FTC by not offering a full refund after the delay and still refuse to respond to my or any other customers about the refund. I contacted my bank, Chase, with whom I made the purchase on a credit card and they refuse to initiate a chargeback to get my money from this fraudulent retailer.

Consumer Complaint: ON XX/XX/14 I WENT TO XXXX XXXX to put in gas. the pump took my card but would not pump gas. i pulled up to the next pump where i entered my card again and that pump worked i filled it up for about XXXX dollars and change. I checked my account as i arrived to work maybe XXXX mins later and i saw my XXXX dollar charge and the XXXX dollar charge. i called the bank chase right away and said someone must of used my card to fill up their car for whatever reason did not work for me but worked for them. they told me they would send me new card to dispose of old card and they reimbursed me. i got XXXX texts to call them about the claim and every time i did with the same story. someone used my card to get gas after i left. my car does not even take XXXX dollars you can see in my history i have never put that much gas in. the bank denied my claim saying since i had card my possession i approved the transaction which in no way did i approve someone to steal from me. Chase basically stealing my XXXX dollars and when i made the claim the cs rep hung up on me.

Also, they have no timeframe to when my funds will be officially deposited into my account and that isnt fair. I, like millions of people, have bills to pay and they do not operate on a We will let you know basis. My funds still arent available, and the fact that Chase is not providing any type of compensation, due to such negligence on their end, is wrong and unacceptable. Im not pleased with this at all and I need the situation to be rectified pronto, as well as compensated for missing out on my money for over XXXX hours.

Consumer Complaint: As a cardholder benefit for the Chase Sapphire Preferred credit card, Chase offers car rental insurance which can be used in the case of rental car damages. While renting a vehicle between XX/XX/2023 and XX/XX/2023 which was paid for using the Chase Sapphire Preferred card, the car suffered a flat tire and I had to pay directly for repairs. I called Chase card member services on the date the flat tire occurred, XX/XX/2023, and was informed that a flat tire would be covered by the credit card insurance. After submitting a claim through Chase 's claim service provider on XX/XX/2023, I was told I would be contacted within 5 days by a claims examiner ( see attached file ). I was never contacted. Approximately XXXX XXXX later, I checked the claim status on the provider 's website and it was listed as " PAID '' and showed a " check issue date '' of XX/XX/2023. However, I never received any check at my address, and a few weeks later the provider 's website listed my claim as " PEND '' instead of the previous " PAID '' status. I reached out through their internal message system on XX/XX/2023 to ask about the claim status, and received an email that the claim examiner " is making a review of this situation in order to proceed with the claim '' ( see attached file ). However, I did not receive any further information and no changes occurred to my claim. I reached out again on XX/XX/2023 to inquire about the claim status, and received an email stating " I'm sorry not sure what the hold up is. I will alert the examiner of this payment issue.You should receive an update on your claim from the assigned examiner once the information has been reviewed ''. As of today, XX/XX/2023, it has been more than XXXX weeks without any further contact or information about my claim, and no changes to my claim on the online portal. It has now been almost XXXX XXXX since my initial claim submission without any contact from a claims examiner or any issuance of my check. The cardholder benefits that Chase advertises, in this case rental car insurance, are clearly not being upheld by the company. While there is a system in place to submit claims, it is clear that the claims are not actually being processed or considered, and so the offer of " insurance '' is non-existent.
