Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX I was trying to send {$2000.00} to my mortgage holder XXXX XXXX however XXXX XXXX who was a old Mortgage holder was right above XXXX XXXX in my online banking and I sent a {$2000.00} payment to XXXX XXXX instead of XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX was taken over by Chase Manhattan in I believe XXXX. I contacted Chase who denied they got the payment and blew me off. I contacted the XXXX State attorney General and what do you know Chase was able to find the payment with the tracking and account numbers I provided via XXXX. Chase has gone back and forth and keep changing required documents they dont like A letter of indemnification has been sent to Chase multiple times and they keep rejecting it they say that they have sent a templet to XXXX of what they want but nothing comes thru they say they fax this info but nothing comes thru. They have refused to send me the templet so I can get it to XXXX. So with out this letter of Indemnification they refuse to return my money my bank has had enough of the stonewalling by Chase not sure what they are being indemnificated from since they should have just returned my money to begin with not sure where to go from here chases Executive offices are slow. to respond wont hardly call back almost never email wont send me the information wont give me a physical address to send information to my belief is they are hoping I will go away and they get to go have lunch on my money. Not sure how they can account to this extra money on their books its not income interest or payment that is owed them

Camera footage reveals my whereabouts and activities as well as the perpetrator at the time. This case is very straightforward and apparently my money isn't safe with Chase even with a new account. I was promosed a thorough investigation when I just want my hard earned money back. They never catch these perpetrators no matter how brazen.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2023 I deposited cashiers check in the amount of XXXX in person. XX/XX/2023 Chase check/deposited department verified the cashiers check with the remitter, issuing bank, and attorney. XX/XX/2023 Chase informed me although they verified the funds they will not release my funds until XX/XX/2023. Chase escalation representatives stated my cashiers check may return, so to protect the bank from loss, they will hold the funds. Chase is withholding my funds that have been deposited and verified from the remitter, issuing bank, and attorney. This is a violation of my civil rights, consumers rights and banking law. FDIC protects all funds so therefore Chase should not be withholding my funds. I have attempted to resolve this issue with the bank and I have been unsuccessful. This is my second step and attempting to release my funds. If this step provides no solution I intend on filing criminal charges against Chase. With your assistance I ask that you assist with the release of mt certified funds that are covered under FDIC. Thank you kindly.

Consumer Complaint: I applied for a JP MORGAN Chase freedom card on the XXXX of XXXX. I was denied I asked a agent why was I denied, I was told I would receive something in the mail to the reason I was denied. I never received a letter at all. I called J.P Morgan Chase again on XXXX the XXXX, XXXX and asked again why was I denied and I still haven't received an adverse action letter and they were violating the law. The agent I spoke to from J.P Morgan Chase bank said they would review the application again while I was on the phone. The agent then asked me for my social security number again, but said they could not approve me because the things I had on my credit report. Also J.P Morgan is in violation of truth and lending and the equal credit opportunity act especially since my credit card ( social security card ) was used and I received no benefits.

An transfer of {$2500.00} was also processed from Chase XXXX to XXXX. But on XX/XX/, the same transfer from XXXX to XXXX for {$420.00} was rejected without any reason given ( see attached ). When I stopped the branch in XXXX XXXX, AZ, XXXX had no response. When I asked for more info online. I was given this : " Your funds transfer could not be completed because it needed your verification. '' I WAS NEVER ASKED FOR ANY VERIFICATION. IT WAS THE SAME PROCESS AS THE OTHER 3 TIMES! Not only that, I discovered on XXXXXXXX that Chase DELETED the very account i question-XXXX. I have to RE-ESTABLISHED the ACH link again ( see attached ). this is wrong advertising. Chase CAN NOT DO external transfer and WILL NOT provide a valid answer.
