Consumer Complaint: Please be advised that you are attempting to collect on an expired debt. I am invoking my right to cease you, based on factual law that this debt in question is legally expired under the Statute of Limitations. The statute of limitations in the state of Texas is 4 years. The account was opened XXXX. This account and debt should have been ceased as of XXXX. Accordingly, I am requesting that you do not attempt to collect this expired debt, and should you seek legal recourse I will invoke my right of the expired statute as a valid defense I expect the following account to be deleted from my credit report within 7 days : JPMCB CARD XXXX. Your company is not only in violation of FCRA violations for trying to collect on an expired debt, but you are also reporting inconsistent information to the credit reporting agencies when all data furnished should be complete and accurate. How are you reporting different payment history, balances, and date last active for the same account? This is clear negligence, defamation of character, and gross misconduct. Please take notice that I must receive a corrected copy of my credit report with the changes I have outlined within five ( 7 ) business days from receipt of this letter, or I will be forced to take legal actions under the FCRA, seeking damages for loss of credit and for the mental anguish your organization has caused me. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2024 I received a letter saying my Chase checking account had been restricted and to call them asap. I called them and they didnt give me the chance to un-restrict my account and instead made the decision to close it. I have about {$3000.00} in my account and they are not releasing my funds to me until my account is fully closed which the projected date is XX/XX/2024. I went to a Chase branch to see if I could get my funds from my account but I was refused in a very rude manner and said to wait for my check. I can not go a whole month without my money and Chase is denying to give my hard earned {$3000.00}.

Consumer Complaint: ILLEGAL REPORTING OF INCOME ON MY CREDIT REPORT, no INCOME IS ALLOWED TO BE REPORTED ON A CREDIT REPORT The IRS generally considers canceled debt of { {$600.00} } or more as taxable, and settling debts for less than what's owed can increase your tax liability depending on your tax bracket and the canceled amount. UNDER IRS PUBLICATION 4681 Being that the following accounts were all charged off and over { {$600.00} } which is taxable income and reported to the irs as taxable income please remove the following accounts immediately from my credit report for illegally reporting income on my credit report. Income is not allowed to be reported to a credit report or supposed to be a factor within a credit report. IF EVERY DEBT IS CONSIDERED INCOME BECAUSE ITS CONSIDERED A SECURITY INCOME, IT CAN'T BE REPORTED ON MY CREDIT REPORT NOR IS IT SUPPOSED TO BE! WHEN A CHARGE-OFF IS FILED THE FOLLOWING COMPANIES FILED A 1099-C A CHARGE-OFF IS CONSIDERED A SECURITY, WHICH MEANS IT IS CONSIDERED INCOME! ALL DISCHARGED DEBT ACCORDING TO IRS PUBLICATION 4681, ALL CHARGE-OFFS OVER { {$600.00} } DUE TO THE IRS ARE CONSIDERED INCOME! INCOME IS NOT ALLOWED TO BE REPORTED TO MY CREDIT REPORT! I have also filed a 1099-c on XXXX which was accepted by the Irs and then mailed to JPMCB, which I have submitted here. Please immediately delete the following account immediately from my credit report! JPMCB XXXX XXXX CHARGE OFF FOR { {$4900.00} }

Consumer Complaint: My banks contract terms and services clearly state they will not give information to non affiliates. Yet I ordered my report from early warning services today. When I asked where they got this information, they said my financial institution. This means my banks, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, chase, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, since I was XXXX XXXX XXXX, each and every month they report this information is {$1000.00} violation. This is easily going to amount {$240000.00} minimum. Now, this is Violation according to 15 usc 1681 under permissible purposes. Also violation under 5 usc 22a requesting ssn and not a government agency? And charge offs Ive had have been reported as income, this illegal because they report transaction history. Id like this updated paid as is. And be compensated for amount charged off

Subissue: Problem using a debit or ATM card
Consumer Complaint: Hi CFPB, on XX/XX/XXXX going into the XXXX I went to a bar named XXXX XXXX XXXX in downtown XXXX and I got my debit card stolen after paying my tab at the bar. I went back to my hotel room at XXXX XXXX and went to bed. I woke up and noticed my debit card was missing out of my wallet and checked my bank account and someone out there hit up every ATM and other things that night withdrawing a total of {$6000.00}. The criminal did roughly 40 or more transactions using my debit card. Please help me out, my bank credited my money back the next morning when I reported it and thought it was all taken care of. As of XX/XX/2024, chase bank has reversed the fraud claim, and is saying I have benefitted off this act because my PIN number was used multiple times without fail. I did not benefit off this and I dont know how whoever got my PIN number got it, and I have filed a police report with the XXXX Police Department . Report number : XXXX. He went to numerous locations : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ATM withdrawal XXXX, ATM withdrawal XXXX, ATM withdrawal XXXX, ATM withdrawal XXXX, ATM withdrawal XXXX, ATM withdrawal XXXX. I called chase fraud department when waiting my for my money to return for updates, simply updates, every time I called the chase fraud department they were opening a whole new claim. I have no idea why they did that, leading my case into more confusion. This is a clear case of fraud, I have submitted my case to Chase Fraud and they are not helping, they gave me my money back and then reversed it leaving me negative - {$1600.00} dollars in my checking account where my bills come out of. I did not commit this crime, I did not benefit anyway, and I did not authorize any ATM withdrawals or any of these other transactions using my chase debit card. I am a victim of fraud.
