Consumer Complaint: I made a purchase on XXXX for {$43.00} on XX/XX/23, and the full payment was deducted from my bank account. However, a few days later, the same payment of {$43.00} appeared as pending in my bank account, affecting my available balance. Despite contacting XXXX, they couldn't see the pending payment without a screenshot, which I couldn't provide due to the Chase app 's restrictions allowing you to take screenshots on an Android phone ... After contacting Chase, they assured me the funds would be available the next day, but that didn't happen. Subsequent calls to Chase resulted in them acknowledging the issue but explaining that, since the payment was pending, I had to wait for it to post which could take XXXX to 5 days before they could address the refund. Despite being pending, the amount was still affecting my available balance for other purchases. Chase claimed their hands were tied due to the pending status. I never authorized the XXXX payment and find it unfair that even though it was only " pending " That this amount of {$43.00} was affecting my bank account balance and Chase was only able to takes actions days later.

Consumer Complaint: I found fraudulent unauthorized activity to my Chase checking account. I reported it to their claims department. They refunded 2 of the charges but did not refuse the largest and most recent charge saying it was past the 60 day limit of initial fraud activity. The web is of the unauthorized charges is the same of each charge and is from a XXXX user web id. The most recent {$410.00} charge was XX/XX/XXXX. They said they will not refund this m, though it is fraudulent activity, and the refunded the other 2 from the same XXXX use web id. I called XXXX and they shut down my account due to fraud and told me I had a XXXX balance anyway. I do not use XXXX, though I have an account. XXXX told me it was chases responsibility to help me get my money back. Chase said it was XXXX responsibility. I have not gotten my {$410.00} back.

Consumer Complaint: I opened a XXXX XXXX card account in XXXX and received my card and activated it. I called Chase and asked them to move my available credit from an existing card to my new card as I wanted to make a large purchase. I then closed my old card account. On XX/XX/XXXX, I attempted to make the purchase. My card was declined. I called Chase and asked why my card was being declined. They could not figure out why it was being declined, It showed my credit limit of {$30000.00}, no outstanding balance, but XXXX available credit. Customer service could not see the transaction trying to post or be declined. They had to refer me to the fraud department. I spoke to the fraud department and they could not determine the status of the decline. I was then told by the fraud department that my case was with an escalation fraud team and they would have to call me back. I specifically asked if i would get a call back that day and was told yes. I was making a purchase that had a XXXX discount if I paid it in full on Friday the XXXX. I did not receive a call back on Friday. Today is Thursday XX/XX/XXXX and I still have not had a call back from ANYONE at Chase. So I called in today and closed my account. I will NEVER have another account at Chase. I lost the discount on the purchase I set this card up to make and again have NEVER gotten a call from Chase to explain why my card was declined. I opened this card in good faith and feel the Chase has treated my unfairly and by not receiving a call back or Chase being able to explain my account, they have deceived me. Now, I have an inquiry on my credit report for this card, and an opened and closed account will reflect. I have an excellent credit score, and this will affect it.
