Consumer Complaint: I made a reservation at XXXX XXXX XXXX ( confirmation # XXXX ) redeeming a " Free Night Award '' obtained through the Chase XXXX XXXX XXXX credit card. Reservation confirmation showed the " XXXX XXXX '' fee rate and my XXXX profile correctly showed the award redemption. On XX/XX/XXXX, at check-in, the hotel clerk confirmed the night was paid, but on XX/XX/XXXX, at check-out, they were asking for a payment of {$230.00} for the night. I tried to clarify and showed the " free night '' booking, and called the XXXX Customer Service in the US that agreed with me and they discussed with the hotel, but unfortunately the hotel clerk didn't change his position and insisted their systems showed the night wasn't free and needed to be paid. After 30 minutes discussing about it, I was risking losing a flight and was delaying the group of people I traveled with, so I decided to pay, trusting I would be able to clarify and solve the situation with Chase Bank ( issuer of the credit card with which I obtained the Free Night, same card that I used to pay the {$230.00} ) or XXXX XXXX. Back at home, I called Chase and they asked me to resolve this matter with XXXX. XXXX customer service agreed with me and opened the case XXXX, but they said that unfortunately they do not have any way to force the hotel to reimburse the night. I disputed the transaction with Chase but even after providing all the documentation, and disputing their first resolution, they still validated the charge with no explanation of why. Night award used shows as " redeemed ''. I am very disappointed with Chase that the credit card award program they promote, and for which I pay an annual fee, is subject to the fulfillment to XXXX hotels, and theres nothing they do if hotels do not comply with the program terms. Chase unfulfilled the terms of its XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX credit card award program they advertise in the US.

Consumer Complaint: Due covid pandemic I began to experience serious hardships by losing my job so As my banking account was decreasing I was forced to start paying extra attention to my money available and as began to looking into my accounts I found that there were charges that were not being made by me and nor was any where near the citys the charges were being made? Chase bank agreed with me there was fraud and several other charges not authorized by me and denied refunding me the amount XXXX stolen which added up to be close to {$2000.00} dollars and when I filed the claim they gave me the money back until further investigation? And months later after investigation of the claim they found out what my claims to be accurate however due to company policy anything over 90 days not reported is not able to refund the fraud charges so they with out notice took the money out of my account back the {$2000.00} and I only had probably half that in the checking account so it not only made my account immediately overdrawn i was charged a penalty fee for the overdrawn and it made my account negative and all my credit cards were on auto pay and cell phone and those automatic payments were charged and denied and i was charged again for each credit card transaction and thus my credit cards companies reported me late fees and the whole situation destroyed my credit score destroyed my account was charged all kind of crazy fees and made my account more overdrawn and the bank did not care if i was charged to much or that they created damage and put me in further dept and for them to not refund the unauthorized charges after agreeing with me im not responsible but am responsible for the money because of a time limits is absolutely absurd it there fault for authorizations of my money being charged by someone else in a another country they authorized the payments not me why should i be responsible for that? I dont XXXX is who got my information but it was used religiously and verified it was not me or my consent and top of it they take the money back in the middle of a pandemic and completely ruined my credit card history and I dont believe a time restriction should free them of responsibility of paying it when there the ones control of the account and authorizations?

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX I became a Victim of Identity Theft. I notified Chase on XXXX XXXX, 2023 I was a victim of Identity Theft and I did not authorize a transaction of {$1200.00}. XXXX XXXX, 2023 I completed a police report and final narrative by the reporting officer and submitted to Chase. XXXX XXXX, 2023 I received a fraud alert text from Chase regarding charge and asking me, " Is this you? ' I replied, " NO. I replied, " I didn't want it unlocked, I want it locked, I am a victim of Identity Theft, I need my account/profile/card Locked. Chase is saying the IP address used to complete the transaction is my IP address. I did a search on the IP address Chase gave me and the message showed : this site can't be reached, ERR-CONNECTION_FAILED. I submitted my IP address, which is NOT the one they said is mine. I provided complete documentation according to dates, transactions, name fraudster used, dates fraudsters attempted transactions, email addresses fraudsters were using to make transactions, phone # 's fraudsters were using, I provided Chase with dates & types of cards fraudsters were opening up in my name, I provided several information with dates fraudsters were using my name to apply for several types of loans, I can not believe this has continued since XXXX, 2023 with all the information/documentation and Police Report I provided. I also, forwarded an email from the Reporting Officer where he said, " I made it clear you are the victim. '' Chase continues to allow this transaction, which is making me more vulnerable and many other people by accepting this transaction from fraudsters.

Consumer Complaint: It appears that Chase does not stand by its cardholders. Once again we received a XXXX answer from Chase ruling in the favor of the XXXX in XXXX that scammed us for {$18000.00} and performed no services. We cancelled within less than an hour after we were coerced into giving him our credit cards because he indicated that I might die if his services were not performed. Under great duress we gave him 2 of our Chase cards but soon after cancelled within less than an hour ( see proof on file ) We are in disbelief that Chase chooses to stand by this merchant with no proof of services performed. Where is there compassion for 2 XXXX people ( my wife and I ) against an unscrupulous doctor that extorted {$18.00} from us. Where is the justice. We hopeChase executives will review this case with some compassion for this situation and put a stop to this from this extortiinist. The final letter we received from Chase states while you have a valid complaint with the merchant the results of our investigation confirm that the transactions are valid This response from Chase is another indication that investigation does not include proof of services rendered. This is so unfair and shows us and others that Chase operates only by the book and does not take into account extending circumstances

Consumer Complaint: Chase United Airlines XXXX XXXX XXXX promotional offer not honored Attachment 1 : Email offer I received and responded to through the link in the message " learn more '' Attachment 2 : Verification that I received my card XX/XX/XXXX. Attachment 3 : offer details I spent more than {$12000.00} on the card since I received it which is well over the {$5000.00} required and within the 90 days specified in the offer. It isn't even 90 days now, so I am still within that window. They did award the XXXX miles but not the 2000 PQP. I have escalated this twice already and get a one-line letter a week later saying that my card is not eligible for the offer '' The offer was sent directly to me ( attachment 1 ) by Chase and the 2000 PQP is the only reason I agreed to get this {$520.00} credit card.
