Subissue: Didn't receive notice of right to dispute
Consumer Complaint: I checked my three credit reports and found an assumed collection account from I.C. SYSTEM, INC with different opening dates, balances, and/or last date of activities for this same exact account number. I have never had an account with this company nor received any type of first notice of debt including rights to dispute from this company. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Validation of debts ( a ) Notice of debt ; contents states that within five days after the initial communication with a consumer in connection with the collection of any debt, a debt collector shall, unless the following information is contained in the initial communication or the consumer has paid the debt, send the consumer a written notice containing ( 3 ) a statement that unless the consumer, within thirty days after receipt of the notice, disputes the validity of the debt, or any portion thereof, the debt will be assumed to be valid by the debt collector. XXXX XXXX XXXX definition of the word receipt is- a writing acknowledging the receiving of goods or money ; proof, evidence. I never signed nor received any type of acknowledgement receipt from a mailing service for any mail from this company. I am familiar with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ). Had I signed a receipt of notice for the proper and legal documentation from this company, I wouldve immediately responded asking for lawful verification of debt or copy of court ordered judgement well within the lawful 30 days allotted. After receiving my response letter with receipt, this company would have to legally cease from collection attempts and remove the account from my credit reports until their proof of verification is sent back to me. This company has reported to my credit reports without observing the FDCPA laws. My credit has been impacted adversely because of this companys irresponsibility. My credit reports also show that I.C. SYSTEM, INC has provided this alleged account with inaccurate information. The FCRA requires that all data reported from the credit reporting agencies, creditors, or furnishers on a consumer 's report be 100 % ACCURATE, 100 % VERIFIABLE, and 100 % TIMELY. This means no data can be reported that can't be legally PROVEN to be 100 % accurate. My XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX credit reports all show different open dates, balances, and/or last date of activities for this same exact account. This is erroneous and flawed reporting that is listed on my credit reports. Not only did this company not follow lawful FDCPA communications protocol, but it has also broken FDCPA False or Misleading Representations protocol as well. A debt collector, in collecting a debt, may not use any false, deceptive, or misleading representation. Specifically, a debt collector may not falsely represent the character, amount, or legal status of the debt, or of any services rendered, or compensation he or she may receive for collecting the debt. A debt collector may not communicate, or threaten to communicate, false credit information or information that should be known to be false, including not identifying disputed debts as such. Each of my 3 credit reports show different information instead of them all showing the exact same information. This is considered a false and misleading representation that this company has submitted to the credit reporting agencies. Please remove this account from my credit reports immediately. It is not my duty to provide evidence that this alleged debt is not mine. It is the obligation of the debt collector to provide evidence that they can lawfully collect on any alleged debt, accurately report to the credit agencies, and follow all FCRA and FDCPA laws. As of today, they have been unsuccessful. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I am writing to raise a serious concern regarding a debt collection placed on my consumer report by I C SYSTEMS, I have reason to believe that they have not followed the proper protocol as outlined in the ( FDCPA ). I C Systems placed a debt on my consumer report WITHOUT providing me with any information to dispute the debt. I did not receive any prior communication from I C SYSTEMS regarding this debt. I only became aware of the situation when I checked my consumer report and noticed a significant drop in my credit score due to the addition of a collection account. I promptly request that I C SYSTEMS provide me with debt validation within the legally mandated 30-day period. I also request that additional information in be provided to me in the letter to futher validate the debt. I am certain, that I C SYSTEMS actions are in violation of the FDCPA. Their failure to provide the necessary information and validation of debt before placing the account into collections is deceptive collection practice. This situation not only unjustly affects me but also violates the regulations meant to protect consumers! I kindly request your assistance in addressing this matter and ensuring that I C SYSTEMS is held accoutable for their actions.

Consumer Complaint: There is a collection on my credit report, the collection agency is I C system for the amount of {$160.00}. It says the supposed account was opened on XX/XX/2020 and it says the original creditor is XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have disputed this claim, but to no avail. Pursuant to 15 USC -1681b I am requesting the form and/or proof of permissible purpose as to how and why any of the the following persons : I C system, XXXX XXXX XXXX, and XXXX, are able to make derogatory reporting to my credit without my written consent? This is a clear violation of the US code and I consider it as identity thief. These private companies posing as fake " bureaus '' have been tricking consumers for years and profiting off their lack of knowledge and the misinformation we have been led to believe. I demand this collection be removed from my credit post haste. Not only is this a violation of the US code, furthermore since I never entered into any agreement or contract with I C system there is no debt or obligation to pay.

Subissue: Attempted to collect wrong amount
Consumer Complaint: I repeatedly have asked for the final bill from XXXX. I left the company owing {$610.00} this was the amount showing in my XXXX app. After I left XXXX I lost both access to my account information and my ability to make regular payments. I have spoken to XXXX on the phone and via email to get an accurate balance. I've also asked then via email why the final balance is greater than it was before I left and to explain it. Not only have they never responded with the information, neither responded to my request to make payment arrangements for the balance... they just sent my account to COLLECTIONS for an exaggerated amount. I opened an email from IC systems over the weekend and had to check ( 2 ) acknowledgement boxes BEFORE they would let me access the screen that showed how much they say I owed which I do not accept. I do not owe an over {$900.00} dollar balance. They are trying to extort money from me and other consumers according to an existing lawsuit and settlement which is actively being adjudicated. My account does not belong in collections and they better not try and report this to the credit agencies as I have not be allowed to 1 ) access the system to pay the balance myself 2 ) make monthly payment arrangements to settle the matter.
