Consumer Complaint: Was solicited by I.C. Systems, inc. AKA XXXX XXXX, an apherently legit collection agency about collection on {$6300.00} owed by a company known as XXXX XXXX XXXX, or XXXX that is addressed to a condemned restaurant building in my home town and shows my home address as well. I did not start, or own any said company at all and i am not responsible for this dept. The Wyoming Sec. of state shows no entity registered either. My credit shows zero lates, charge back etc. and is, has been, and always will be perfect. Credit freezing measures are now in place. This is a case of ID fraud and I request I.C. Systems, Inc. provide any and all documents to support legitimacy of dept alleged for collection, Articles of organization or incorporation of said fraudulent business and any and all E signatures, paper signatures, etc. with my name on them to validate their claim. I also want to know the identity of the people who started this fraudulent business under my name and identity to counter sue to the fullest extent of the law, including said collection agency if deemed necessary. Subissue: Debt is not yours
Consumer Complaint: In 2019 I reported the collection agency by the name of IC SYSTEMS, who purchased a debt from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX as well as another agency ( nameless, it has been cleared ). I contacted the bureaus with supporting documents to have the account removed from my report. Both XXXX and XXXX removed the account and also noted that, the company should not be allowed to report this debt again. I also contacted the CFPB, in 2019, regarding this company. The account was removed from my account due to fraud, in 2019. However, this same account has been listed as a collection item, once again, on my XXXX credit report. XXXX later. As proven, I have sent validation letters to this company, that went unanswered after the legal allotted time.

Consumer Complaint: This is for a XXXX XXXX bill from XXXX. The new collection company erased the old debt and created and new debt starting in XXXX. When I contacted the company to dispute that his account was old and not new, they told kept trying to get me to just pay their amount. The supervisor confirmed that the debt was started in XXXX and not XXXX and that they were reporting it as such, but they are not. She went on to claim that it was the credit bureaus fault, not theirs. However, when I then told her that if what she is saying is true, then in two years her account would disappear off my credit because the account is 5 years old, and negative items would come off my credit after 7 years. She proceeded to tell me that wasn't true and those items don't come off your credit. I told her she was the first person to ever tell me that. She then told me that the only way it would come off the report is if they reported it as paid, again tried to get me to pay. I again told her that two different mortgage companies were telling me that it was showing up as a new debt as well as myself looking at what they submitted to the credit bureau. She ignored what I was saying and again blamed the credit bureau, confirmed again that the account was from XXXX, and that they reported it that way, but that they also submitted the XXXX date to the credit bureau. This is obviously a tactic that this company uses to get people to call in and pay the note, even though it's an extremely old note. I told her that I would have actually considered paying it off if their practices were not blatantly shady and possibly even illegal.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/23 I received a letter from IC Systems, on the letter in giant bold letting it says " TOTAL AMOUNT OF THE DEBT NOW : {$290.00} '' Due to some health issues I wasn't able to call until XX/XX/23. I called to try and resolve the debt expecting to pay {$290.00}. I spoke to a representative named " XXXX '' and explained to her why I was calling, I repeatedly asked to pay the debt that is on the paper they sent me but she kept telling me I owed over {$700.00}. She then told me " yeah ... sorry the wording is weird on that '' but I'm not understanding how " TOTAL AMOUNT OF THE DEBT NOW '' can be taken any other way. She offered me a settlement of {$500.00}, which I wanted them to honor the amount listed on the paper. I felt this was very deceptive and a bait and switch to get me to call in so they could get my information. I asked to speak to a manager. Manager " XXXX '' got on the phone and just repeated the same thing she did, " {$290.00} was ADDED to the existing debt, it isn't what is owed '' even though the paper clearly says " TOTAL AMOUNT OF THE DEBT NOW ''. I tried to settle for even {$400.00} but they wouldn't work at all with me even though their notice they sent to me was extremely deceptive and I feel like it was a misrepresentation of the debt. I can include a picture of the paper they sent me, they even acknowledged they are seeing what I see but their answer was " it's worded really weird ''.

Consumer Complaint: A continuation of my harassment by I.C. System notwithstanding my prior complaint XXXX about a purported debt I do not owe. I received an I.C. System " Account Update '' dated XX/XX/XXXX ( attached ) stating ( in apparent response to my XX/XX/XXXX complaint XXXX ) : " confirmation that I.C. System will no longer pursue collection of this account and will return it to XXXX XXXX, Powered by XXXX. '' That caused me to accept that my complaint was resolved. That was wrong. Just 9 days after its XX/XX/XXXX " Account Update, '' I.C. System sent another collection letter dated XX/XX/XXXX ( attached ), purporting to be an " Account Validation. '' As purported " validation, '' I.C. System sent the same bogus XXXX invoice dated XX/XX/XXXX I.C. System previously sent to me on XX/XX/XXXX ( attached ). I informed I.C. System by letter dated XX/XX/XXXX ( attached ) that I had never previously received that XXXX invoice or any other communication from XXXX because I've never had a business arrangement with XXXX. I demanded in my XX/XX/XXXX letter, as I have in my XX/XX/XXXX letter, my XX/XX/XXXX letter, my XX/XX/XXXX letter and my XX/XX/XXXX XXXX letter ( each attached ) ( a ) evidence that I ever had a business arrangement with XXXX ; ( b ) proof that the modem on the bogus XXXX invoice was XXXX XXXX ; and ( c ) evidence I ever got the bogus XXXX invoice or any other communication from XXXX. No such evidence or proof has ever been furnished. I.C. System is engaged in consumer harassment without evidence or proof that I owe anything for XXXX or hold any modem that XXXX can prove it owns. I want this harassment stopped. I.C. Systems obviously undertook no diligence to verify I owed anything to or hold any property of XXXX. Yet I.C. System has persisted in harassing me for two years. If that is not consumer abuse, what is? I.C. System needs to be legally disciplined because, based on review of consumer complaints about I.C. System to the XXXX XXXX XXXX, harassing consumers to extract money they do not owe is an all too common and legally questionable tactic.

Consumer Complaint: This debt is fraudulent. It is due to identity theft. I have no information about this. I have contacted the collection agency located in XXXX XXXX, MN, via certified letter, informing them that this debt is a result of identity theft. I have also contacted XXXX and XXXX regarding this fraudulent debt. All the information I have on this company was provided by the aforementioned credit reporting agencies. I have not pulled my credit report from XXXX yet. According to XXXX this debt was reported on or about XX/XX/2021 in the amount of {$1700.00}. It was written off/closed some time thereafter. I will absolutely not pay this debt. I did not open the account with the original creditor and I most certainly will not pay some collection agency in Minnesota.
