Consumer Complaint: I am writing to formally dispute the debt you are attempting to collect as well as to bring to your attention several violations of my rights under the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. As per the referenced consumer laws, specifically 12 CFR 1006.34 ( b ) ( 5 ), 12 CFR 1006.34 ( c ) ( 4 ) ( i ), 12 CFR 1006.34 ( d ), and 15 USC 1681s 2 ( 7 ) ( A ), it is evident that your actions have not adhered to the prescribed standards. Firstly, I dispute the validity of the debt you are attempting to collect. I have not received any verification or validation of this debt as per my rights outlined in 15 USC 1681s 2 ( 7 ) ( A ) of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It is imperative that you provide me with detailed documentation verifying the debt, including the original creditor 's name, the amount owed, and any relevant account statements. Furthermore, your collection practices have violated my rights under 12 CFR 1006.34. Specifically, your failure to provide me with written notice within five days of your initial communication, as required by 12 CFR 1006.34 ( b ) ( 5 ), is a clear violation of the law. Additionally, your failure to cease collection efforts until you have provided sufficient validation of the debt, as mandated by 12 CFR 1006.34 ( c ) ( 4 ) ( i ), further demonstrates your disregard for consumer rights. Moreover, your company has failed to provide accurate and complete information to the credit reporting agencies, as outlined in 12 CFR 1006.34 ( d ). The inaccurate reporting of this debt has had a detrimental impact on my credit score and financial well-being. Therefore, I demand that you : Cease all collection activities on the disputed debt until you have provided adequate verification as required by law. Provide me with detailed documentation validating the debt in question, including the original creditor 's name, the amount owed, purchase agreement between the original creditor and you, also requesting to furnish proof to be licensed and bonded and any relevant account statements. Correct any inaccuracies in the information you have reported to the credit reporting agencies and provide me with written confirmation of these corrections.
