Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, IN XXXX SSN : XXXX | DOB : XX/XX/XXXX Email : XXXX Phone Number : ( XXXX ) XXXX XX/XX/XXXX Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Subject : Complaint Against Collection Agency Violating Consumer Rights , Dispute of Debt and Revocation of Communication Rights To whom it may concern : I am writing to file a formal complaint against [ I C SYSTEM ] for multiple violations of my consumer rights under the regulations administered by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ) . I am disputing any and all alleged debts claimed by [ I C SYSTEM ] I hereby revoke all rights for [ I C SYSTEM ] to communicate with me via email, text, or calls in any form or manner. It has come to my attention that the collection agency has egregiously violated the following laws, thus necessitating immediate intervention and enforcement by your esteemed bureau : Furthermore, I request debt validation in accordance with my rights as a consumer. Please provide documentation substantiating the existence, validity, and ownership of the alleged debt, including but not limited to the original creditor 's purchase agreement with [ I C SYSTEM ] Additionally, I require proof of [ [ I C SYSTEM ] licensure and bonding, as required by law, to ensure their legal authority to engage in debt collection activities. 1. **Violation of 12 CFR 1006.34 ( b ) ( 5 ) : ** Despite the requirement under this regulation to provide validation information [ I C SYSTEM ] has failed to do so. Yet, they have proceeded to place a collection on my consumer report, thereby directly contravening my rights and causing undue harm to my financial reputation. 2. **Violation of 12 CFR 1006.34 ( c ) ( 4 ) ( I ) : ** I have been denied the opportunity to dispute the account in question, as mandated by this regulation. The collection agency 's failure to afford me this basic right of due process is deeply concerning and undermines the integrity of the consumer financial protection framework. 3. **Violation of Consumer Rights through Misleading Practices : ** It has become apparent that [ I C SYSTEM ] has engaged in false, misleading, and deceptive means in their collection practices. Such unethical behavior not only violates consumer rights but also creates an environment of distrust and exploitation within the financial system. 4. **Violation of 12 CFR 1006.34 ( d ) and 15 USC 1681-S2 ( 7 ) ( A ) : ** The collection agency lacks the authority to furnish any account to consumer reporting agencies without providing the requisite disclosures mandated by law. By failing to adhere to these legal requirements, [ I C SYSTEM ] is flagrantly disregarding consumer protections and must be held accountable for their actions. It is imperative that the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau thoroughly investigates these violations and takes decisive action to ensure compliance with consumer protection laws. I implore the bureau to intervene on my behalf, provide assistance in rectifying the damage caused by the collection agency 's actions, and uphold the rights and dignity of consumers. I expect a prompt and comprehensive response to my dispute and requests outlined above. I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to a swift and thorough resolution. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I lived in some apartments XXXX years ago that were very disorganized and dishonest practices, as well as the electric company. For example in a XXXX sq ft apartment we would get a bill around {$400.00} just for normal electric use. Having to deal with them constantly and complain, we ended up just paying it. Left there around XXXX to a different city with a different electric company and have not dealt with them since. Just now in XX/XX/XXXX, a collection on my credit for {$500.00} appeared from collection agency " IC System '' from XXXX energy. I called IC system and they are unwilling to remove it from my collections and tell me to contact XXXX energy. When I call XXXX energy, they tell me they can't do anything other than deal with the collections agency. I also can't get any of my records from the apartment complex which has changed hands multiple times who are now " XXXX XXXX ''. I feel like my hands are tied at every direction I try to take. This charge that isn't even mine from an account that I used XXXX years ago caused my credit score to go down XXXX points.

Consumer Complaint: This supposed debt comes from a XXXX cell phone account I had from about XXXX yrs ago. I changed cell phone service to another carrier due to bad coverage ( I couldn't even get adequate signal in my own home ). Therefore, I completed the contract and canceled service. About 7 years ago I received an odd collection notice from XXXX saying I owed about {$1500.00} and I called XXXX and questioned the charges. The representative all those years ago said they would make the correction. Now, recently, while applying for a loan in XXXX XXXX I was told by the loan company that I had a negative mark on my credit report related to a company called IC Collections. When I went online to check my credit report, I found the notice of collection from XXXX and XXXX, but it is NOT included on my XXXX report. I called XXXX in XXXX XXXX and reqeusted information but was told they did not have any information to give. And, since XXXX, when I canceled my XXXX service, I have NEVER had a loan company ( mortgages, car loans, consolidation loans ) say to me that I had an outstanding collection notice. This is clearly in error, and I would like to know and request documentation on what these charges are based on, what dates are related to the charges, and when it was sent to the collection agency.

Consumer Complaint: I have spoken with someone from I C systems on a few occasions only by phone. I have never received any written correspondence from I C Systems even when I have requested to receive documentation of debt with them. I have asked them to provide me with written documentation from their company about full nature of debt. They have refused to send anything in writing. I have never done business with I C Systems, I have never signed a contract with I C Systems, and I have never received a service from I C Systems. Furthermore, I C Systems is not licensed and bonded to collect debt anyway! This company should not have any of my information because I have no affiliation with I C Systems Collections. The amount that they claim that I owe is {$86.00}.

Consumer Complaint: I was employed at XXXX XXXX through XXXX of XXXX. At that time, I spoke with Human Resources to discuss the amount of the original sign-on bonus that I was required to repay, and they said that someone would reach back out to me. The original agreement stated that it was a monthly pro-rated amount based upon months worked. I was employed at XXXX XXXX for 15 months and the agreement was based on 18 months. I did not hear anything from XXXX XXXX until XX/XX/XXXX regarding bonus repayment. At that time, they sent a letter, with an attachment dated XX/XX/XXXX, that stated the terms of repayment with the prorated amount being < {$2000.00}. I responded the next day on XX/XX/XXXX, agreeing to payback the amount determined and asked for an acceptable time period to repay the amount due. I asked if it was okay if I waited a pay period or two before repayment. I did not hear any response. Today, XX/XX/XXXX, I opened a letter from I.C. System Inc. ( debt collector ) attempting to collect $ XXXX on behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX I called I.C. System Inc. and they were not able to provide any details upon request. The amount on the letter is extremely vague and the representative that answered the phone was vague as well. I have never received any other correspondence from XXXX XXXX indicating any debt owed to them at any point, other than the prorated bonus payback from above, so this seemed very bogus. Furthermore, the letter is dated XX/XX/XXXX, so it was sent before I received any correspondence from XXXX XXXX. I need XXXX XXXX to identify the justification for the $ XXXX amount owed. Or I need I.C. System Inc. to provide additional details. What amount was submitted to the debt collector and why? Was this related to the bonus repayment? I have not received any correspondence or justification from XXXX XXXX to this point regarding this amount.
