Consumer Complaint: I ended service with XXXX over 3 years ago. at the time they billed me for service after the account was closed. The account was closed because they raised prices 4 times in the last year of service without any notification and upgraded the " cable package '' to higher tier with no notification. I don't remember specific dates, but on my call to them they confirmed the date the account was closed was before the billing period on the bill they sent. I said " so this will be fixed, right? '' Now 3 years later I am getting a collection notice. Ridiculous.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/year> " POTENTIAL SPAM '' call received. NO name provided. City : XXXX XXXX, CA. Caller number : XXXX. Called number and got a woman. She wanted to record call. Did not give permission. I asked what is the company name and to spell it because I did not understand the automated response when I returned the unanswered call. Reply to questions : IC System. XXXX XXXX, MN. I called the number that called me and got an entirely different state! SCAM, I think, especially after XXXX showed POTENTIAL SPAM. Upon researching the phone number online later, I found the business name is really XXXX XXXX. I have ALWAYS paid what I owe. I have never received a VALID call regarding PAST DUE accounts. I hung up after explaining the phone number was Potentially Spam and it appears to be to me as well. I BLOCKED THEIR NUMBER but I am sure they have many numbers to choose from. I NEVER WANT TO HEAR FROM THEM AGAIN.

Consumer Complaint: I noticed I had a collection debt for a XXXX medical bill, so I called XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX to dispute and was told by a representative they were not in charge of the collection anymore because of the age of the report, and provided me with a phone number to call a separate business to dispute. I then called the provided number with the intention to set up a payment plan to pay off a debt in order to improve my credit. I have reason to believe I was guided and directed by said person through a fraudulent process with intent to confuse and manipulate me for personal gain/conduct a scam. I have proof identifying the collection agency number I called, as being an anonymous VOIP number, as well as documented proof of attempted transactions to my bank account.

Consumer Complaint: I am formally writing this complaint because I noticed a debt collection company by the name of I.C. SYSTEM INC. who parked a debt on my credit report. I don't know where this alleged debt came from, I was not given any information regarding this alleged debt, I was not given the opportunity to dispute this alleged debt, and I am aware that this company is not licensed to collect in the state of Tennessee. This company is damaging my reputation and breaching my privacy. The reporting of this account also reflects as inaccurate and misleading. There are multiple instances of collection notations shown as " C '' for " collections '' reported repeatedly every month. The FCRA stresses the importance of " Fairness and Accuracy '' of credit reporting. I have reason to believe this company is utilizing deceptive and abusive behavior against me. Not only are these violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act but are also violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. This debt collection company has no permissible purpose placing anything on my credit reports without following the Debt Collection Rule under the FDCPA first. There was no attempt to communicate from this debt collection company.
